Second Lead

Sis Xiao soothed Rong Rong's back to pacify her. In her view, Rong Rong is a little girl who is too young to face such 'deathly' situations.

She herself forgot the fact that she would actually treat all the other child actors similar to that of the way she treats adults.

She did not realise that but of course Bro Wang did and gave her an incomprehensible look. 'She surely does change the way in treating others according to the person standing in front of her.'

He just shook his head and started leading everyone further inside.

After a series of brief greetings among the members present, they headed towards Bingwen's room which was arranged earlier.

Shao Rong noticed that every crew member behaved extremely cautiously towards Sun Bingwen with a mixture of respect and fear.

According to the popularity of his which she noticed earlier, the respect he attained is agreeable. When it comes to the fear, it could be because of his temper which she did not see until now about which she ignored directly.

She is not in the least bit curious about his temper with his underlings or the crew members. As long as he maintains his temper in front of her, she is satisfied and she is sure that he would not dare to cross his limits due to the warnings given to him by his father.

Hence she ignored his matter and calmly followed behind him carrying his bag while looking around curiously like a curious little kid who just arrived at an amusement park.

Under the pretense of a silly girl, her eyes kept scanning the surroundings to find any of her targets. By the time they reached their room, she did not find anyone and hence turned her head towards Sis Xiao. She then probed her about the other actors and their schedules with an eagerness in her voice to meet a few other stars.

Since it is natural for her age, Sis Xiao spoke about a few people who would come today and a few who would arrive by tomorrow.

Bingwen sat in a chair and started flipping his mobile phone and Bro Wang went to know the details of today's shoots and all the other arrangements.

After everything is settled, Sis Xiao started talking with Rong Rong about every other actor with more elucidation.

According to her words, this was the first movie in which Bingwen acted as a second male lead but was actually proud to grab this role. The reason being, the male lead who was very mysterious in a sense. He would act in a single movie per year and disappear for the remaining time from the public eye.

No one knows his background or what he does in the time when he disappears or any other details. He never promotes his movie or follows others schedules or plans. He always follows his own pace.

Never suppressed by anyone but instead cold towards everyone. Heartthrob of millions of fans and a legend in the entertainment industry. He is not a legend because he was handsome.

But what makes him a legend is that, in whatever movie he acts, that movie is sure to break the box office records and the fame of all the actors participating in the movie to soar through the clouds.

Hence, Bingwen did not think it a shame to act in the second lead role in such a movie.

He would be arriving tomorrow to the set and hence Sis Xiao said that she needs to wait until tomorrow to see him. After all, his fan base is so huge that she automatically assumed Rong Rong to be one of his fans given her age.

Even if Rong Rong is not like other girls who like a man because of his looks, since she would join the film industry, his acting skills made him a legend which made everyone treat him as a milestone in their hearts trying their best to reach.

Every actor wants to become him while every director wants to recruit him. Hence it would be obvious for Rong Rong to like him.

Well, that is what she thought about her but Shao Rong was in fact stuck at his name itself. She feels that it was a familiar name but later left the matter alone.

The second female lead would arrive soon since she had the scenes together with Bingwen in a while.

During their conversation, Sun Bingwen kept throwing glances in their direction once in a while which no one noticed. He kept gauging the reactions of Shao Rong which were never flickering according to his eyes and hence he did not understand what she wanted to do. She looked just like a person who is enthusiastic to work and curious about everything and nothing more.

If he did not see her cold face and colder treatment, he would actually think that her bright smile and shining eyes were true. But alas, he knew that they were not and he kowtowed to her skills in his heart.

Once the makeup artist entered the room, both the ladies assisted them in every way they could and completed everything in the shortest time possible.

Bingwen being the handsome man he is, there is not much makeup to do and once it's completed, they headed outside once the crew informed them that the shot was ready.

As soon as they came out, another lady came outside from an adjacent room and Shao Rong glanced at her. She of course identified her as she saw her two days back in the hotel she was staying in.

She was precisely the woman whom she saw kissing a man outside the elevator the other day. Apparently she was the second female lead with whom Bingwen is going to be paired with.

Once everyone reached the shot, Shao Rong saw that the director was actually the man whom she saw kissing with the woman outside the elevator.

She raised an eyebrow unconsciously at the new development of the story. 'Director and an actress. Hmm…. Interesting.'
