42 Don't trust men

The duo did not realize that they had an afternoon shift and Shao Rong was also supposed to come in the afternoon. Even if they went to their location faster, they could not meet her and were supposed to be utterly disappointed.

Once they reached the filming set, after realizing their mistakes, their excited faces turned gloomy in an instant and they entered Ren Weimin's room with their heads lowered.

As no one noticed their mood swings, the duo watched their respective watches for every few seconds waiting for Shao Rong's arrival and tried their best to pass the time until noon.

As soon as Shao Rong reached the filming set in the afternoon, she once again went around the whole set saying greetings and chatting with every crew member she faced. Like a bee that was faced with many flowers in a garden, she buzzed at every person she met with a bright smile making everyone more fond of her.

As she moved forward, she met a young man, whom she was a little familiar with. Changying��s assistant.

She moved to him and started talking enthusiastically with him. Even that young man was not much repulsive of her like his boss, Changying.

She had a beef with Changying and not with him. They do not hold any sort of personal grudges making him soften up to her slowly looking at her innocent face and her innocent chatter.

Her round glass frames did not make any effort in concealing the brightness in her eyes when she spoke. That brightness was like a magnet attracting everyone towards her and lowering their guards against her.

The innocent looking man slowly warmed up to her brightness and started chatting with her more freely than earlier.

While they were speaking, Chenguang's assistant joined them in the middle and the trio chatted for a while.

Chenguang's assistant was called in the middle and she excused herself from both the other assistants and left them towards her people.

As Shao Rong and Chengying's assistant were talking, they were interrupted by a childish voice. "Rong…...Rong."

The first Rong sounded so excited while the second Rong sounded so cold that even the childish nature of that voice was lost somewhere in the middle.

Shao Rong and Chengying's assistant looked towards the source of the voice to see a little kid looking at them intently while his expression consisted of a mixture of excitement and anger. They never knew that an expression could be the combination of them until they saw the little kid's face in live.

They looked at him in doubt and amusement as they wondered why he was angry with them in the first place.

Once Shao Rong recognized the face, she screamed in excitement, "Xiao Cheng."

She immediately ran in his direction while Xiao Cheng also moved in her direction to reduce her efforts to reach him. He smiled brightly looking at the excitement she showed when she saw him and forgot that he was angry at her the moment before.

"Xiao Cheng, what are you doing here?" Shao Rong asked in excitement to see her favorite kid as she never expected to meet the kid again. Looks like they really have a little fate together.

Just a few days back she missed this kid and here he was calling her name during her work when she least expected to meet him again. Hence she couldn't control her excitement and bent down on her knees to reach his height and smiled at him which he found very dazzling.

"Rong Rong. I missed you. So I came here to meet you."

"You came to meet me? Who did you come with? How did you know that I am here?" Shao Rong was confused at the kid's words.

"I came with my father. He told me that you are here." Xiao Cheng answered all the questions she asked innocently.

"Your Father? Where is your father?" She asked looking at her surroundings while she stood on her feet.

Xiao Cheng held her hands and joined her in looking in all the directions to look at his father. When he did not find the familiar figure, he looked back at her, "He would be here somewhere. Just leave him alone." As he searched his surroundings earlier, he found the young man earlier still standing in the same place looking at them without leaving and he suddenly became angrier again.

"Who is he? Why are you talking with another man? You should maintain some distance with men when you talk with them or they would take advantage of you. You should be very careful around strangers. Do you understand?" He started nagging at her immediately.

His words greatly amused both Shao Rong and Chengying's assistant. He immediately smiled at Shao Rong and left them alone to give them their privacy as he does not want to be looked coldly at by the little kid who was sweet with Shao Rong but spicy with himself.

Shao Rong smiled at Xiao Cheng, "He is my colleague."

Xiao Cheng sternly looked back at her, "Even if he is your colleague, you should not trust men easily."
