Chapter 13: The Arrival
[THE CITY GATE AT THE EAST]
"Yes, I'm sorry to deceive you both. The truth is I am the crown prince of this kingdom, Prince Vincent!", he reintroduced himself to both of us.

Some of the royals guards then notice and recognize Gilbert's presence with the crown prince.

The royals guards said about Gilbert with a strong admiration. They are also happy to see Gilbert visit the capital after his long gone.
" By the way, who's that beauty over there", The royals guards asked
"Well, actually she's the one who saved me and Alfred when The Legendary Basilisk attacked our carriage",

The crown prince explains to the guards while Alfred exaggerating at the background. The guards then laugh at the crown prince's words.
"Haha, your Highness, surely you jest! That a good one", the guards replied to the prince but the prince still looked at them with his serious face.
" What the crown prince said was true judging by the unique of her sword and the amount of mana circulating in her body", a mysterious man then appeared from behind the guards with his face covered by his robe.
"I'm sorry for not introducing myself, my name is David Dormer, the vice head court magician. It's pleased to meet you" the man said to me when I was wondering who he was.
"Ah, David! You're here. You see, you see, she killed The Legendary Basilisk with one spell, even I who is superior to you couldn't even defeat it, let alone defend myself from it!", Alfred becomes like a kid when he's around David, his assistant.
" One spell huh? Now that is interesting don't you think, your Highness?", David tilted his head with a smile at the crown prince as if he is trying to get an opportunity from the prince.
The prince walks in front of me and covers me from the vice head court magician. David then grins and gives up pursuing his opportunity since the crown prince hindered him to do so.
"Now, now, we here to reward them for rescuing me while my guards were too late to be saved, if it not for both them, I would also follow my guard's fate, don't you think?", the crown prince looks at them with a menacing gaze.
" Alright, men! Escort the crown prince and his guest to the Royal Palace right away!",
"Yes Sir!",
The guards then escort us to the Royal Palace, people gather to see that the crown prince's condition after the news and his guest that he brought from the incident.

The King and The Queen were waiting for the crown prince's arrival in the hall to see how he's doing after the attack from the S-rank monster.
