chapter 19- Kasey's missing

a couple days later

Kelly walks towards the door after hearing someone knock

she opens it to find a stranger with a worried look

"are u Kelly" they ask

"yes may I ask what your business here is?" Kelly says with a curious tone

"it's about Kasey, I was wondering if you'd had seen or spoken to him by any chance these last couple of days" the stranger asks with a worried and sped up tone

"unfortunately I have not has something happened" Kelly says as she starts to sound worried

"he's been missing we haven't been able to contact or find him we were hoping you have" the stranger says

Kelly motions for the stranger to come inside as she closes the door behind them

"what about the gang" Kelly asks as the stranger sits down

"no contact. Sean's been handling things as best he can but we have half the gang looking for Kasey so our numbers are currently limited" the person explains

"when did he disappear" Kelly asks trying to think of where he could be

"a couple days ago he was supposed to meet up with one of our members and after we didn't get a report we went to search only to find the member dead and Kasey missing" the person says as their voice gets shaky

Kelly stands there thinking for a minute before Leo walks in with Racheal behind him

"mom who's this" as he refers to the stranger on the couch

"this is... um.." Kelly says as she looks at them realizing she doesn't know their name

"my name's Sam" she says as she introduces herself

"hello" Racheal says as she walks closer

"is Uncle ok?" Racheal asks with a worried looking

Sam stares at Racheal with a sad look as she figures out what to say

"he will be" Kelly says as they look up at her

"but for now I'm gonna need you guys to come with me so go get ready" Kelly says

as Leo and Racheal go back Kelly looks at Sam

"I'm going to see if my mom can watch them and see if she's heard anything afterwards I want you to take me to the place where Kasey was last seen is that alright?" Kelly asks

"of course" Sam says as she gets up

they all head out

Kelly knocks on the door but hears no answer so she tries the doorknob the find it unlocked

she walks in the walk to find it a mess as she starts to panic and worry

she runs in and looks around for her mom but finds no one

she looks around for clues as she panics just as Sam walks in the house and goes into shock

Kelly looks at Sam with tears forming in her eyes as well as anger while holding a note

"it's seems I've found your answer" Kelly says handing sam the note

if you wish for them back then

you know how to find me

Sam reads in shock as she drops the note and they both go back to the car

"I need you to drop me off where Kasey was and go back to sunlight with the kids" Kelly says as Sam starts driving

"your not going alone are you?" Sam asks with a worried tone

"I'll have to and don't worry I can handle this myself" Kelly says as she reassures Sam

"I'll send you my location once I find the base if you don't hear from me by the end of tomorrow then go to the location and search for if you dont receive my location then that probably means something bad happened so wait till the afternoon instead" Kelly says as they approach their destination

"your not putting yourself in danger are" Leo asks from the backseat with a worried look

"don't worry everything will turn out to be okay" Kelly says

Sam stops at the side of the street

"through that alley is where they were we found the member a little further though"

"thanks" Kelly's says as she gets out

"let Sean know what s going on and tell him to bring some of the search party back Incase something happens at the base since we don't know what their after" Kelly says as Sam nods and Kelly closes the car door

Sam drives off as Kelly heads into the alley and puts her hood and mask on
