Chapter 18- were back

Back at the dorm after visiting midnights base and dropping Eva off

Sean and Rachel's in his room

Sean's on his bed reading a book while Rachel's playing

Racheal hears the door and gets up and heads towards and Sean's notices and follows her

Sean and Racheal walk into the living room as Leo sits on the couch and Kelly's closing the door behind her as she enters

"Mommy!" Racheal screams as she runs up and hugs her as Kelly begins to turn around

then Racheal turns towards Leo and jumps on him knocking him onto his back hugging him just as Sean steps into the room

Sean stops and just stands there in shock when he sees Kelly as she looks back at him

"hey" Kelly says in an awkward tone while waving her hand at him and just at that moment Sean runs across the room and jumps onto Kelly hugging her as tears form in his eyes as Kelly winces in pain as she steps back a little bit because of the force of his hug

Sean hugs Kelly while Kelly stands there for a second regaining her balance before hugging Sean back

"I'm so glad your ok" Sean says as he tries to contain his tears

"What did you expect, it's me we're talking about here" Kelly says

Sean releases from the hug looking at Kelly with a smile on his face now

"yea" Sean says with a hint of laughter

"you didn't eat all the cookies while I was away did you?" Kelly says walking towards the kitchen

"uhh" Sean says with a nervous guilty tone as he watches Kelly walk into the kitchen

Kelly walks over to the cookies jar and opens it only to find crumbs just as Sean walks into the kitchen

"If your hungry I'll make some food" Sean says as he walks over to Kelly who is currently sulking over the lost cookies

Kelly looks up at Sean quickly as she gets excited at the thought of the deliciousness of Sean's cooking

Sean laughs in amusement as he walks over to grab an apron and puts it on and walks back to start cooking as Kelly watches him

a few minutes later

"go get the kids they need to eat to" Sean says to Kelly as he finishes up cooking

Kelly goes to get the kids and comes back to find Sean placing the food on the table as they all sit down and start eating

after there done the kids run off and play as Kelly washes up the dishes Sean walks up and hugs Kelly's waist from behind catching Kelly off guard

"everything ok?" Kelly asks as she buries his face in her shoulder

"is it true?" Sean asks

"what?" Kelly asks confused and she finishes up the dishes

"about the kid?" Sean asks with his face still buried in Kelly's shoulder and Kelly's face turns to shock as she rinses the last dish

"so she told you" Kelly says as she shuts the water off with a sad expression on her face as Sean's expression turns to shock as he lifts his head up

"his name is Leo and yes it is" Kelly says and Sean let's go and steps back as Kelly starts walking toward her room as Sean follows

"so why?" Sean asks as he enters the room behind Kelly

"why what?" Kelly asks as she stops in the middle of the room and turns around as Sean is closing the door behind him

Sean stands in front of the door in silence now as he tries to figure out what to say

"if you want to know why then you're asking the wrong person, he's the reason and cause of all this" Kelly says

Sean stands there in shock as Kelly turns around and sits on the bed

Kelly turns her head and looks at sean whos still in shock and trying to figure out what to say

"if you're done then please leave I'd like some rest" Kelly says as she gets ready to lay down

sean who is spaced out didn't hear what kelly had said and just as kelly goes down she looks back at sean since she hasn't heard the door and notices seans state

kelly walks over and snaps in front of his face getting his attention as sean looks at kelly

"did you hear what I said or not" kelly asks now having seans attention

sean shakes his head as kelly repeats herself to him in which sean steps out as kelly closes the door behind him and lays down and rest
