chapter 13-plan in action

at sunlight's base(in the infirmary room)

on one side Kelly's lays passed out meanwhile Aarons is passed out as well on the other side while Eva's is in between them reading a book

Eva looks up from her book towards the door where she sees Kasey coming in to check on them

"they haven't woken up yet?" Kasey asks as he sits down in a chair in between Kelly and Eva facing towards Eva

"no, I don't think there gonna wake up anytime soon either" Eva says in reply as she sets her book down on a table beside her

Kasey looks over at Kelly with a worried look on his face then turns to look back at Eva as he begins to speak

"how do you know Kelly exactly?" Kasey says facing towards Eva with a look of questioning on his face

"I should ask you the same thing" Eva says

"I'm her twin brother" Kasey says answering Eva

"so then your a wolf to I presume?" Eva says surprising Kasey causing him to widen his eyes in shock

"how do you know?" Kasey says with a serious and threatening tone

"she's our alpha" Eva says with a smile on her face as she looks at Kelly and then back at Kasey

"so then your also-" Kasey says as Eva cuts him off

"yep and so is he" Eva says as she points behind her at Aaron

"so then there fighting for alpha I presume?" Kasey says

"no that fights over or should I even call it a fight" Eva says as her tone and face expression becomes regretful and worried as she looks down in her lap

"what happened?" Kasey ask in a worried tone

"I think it'd be best if Kelly told you" Eva says

"ok but why are they still fighting now though?" Kasey asks

"its because of what happened then that they fight" Eva says

Kasey's about to ask something but Eva cuts him off again

"I think its best if you save your questions for when Kelly wakes up" Eva says

Kasey just nods his head in ok as awkwardness fills the air

Kasey looks over at Eva's ankle as its propped up by a pillow with an ice pack on it

"so is your ankle doing ok?" Kasey ask looking back at Eva

"yea it was just a sprain but because of the strain I put on it it'll most likely take longer to heal" Eva explains looking down at her ankle and kind of moving her foot around

"as long as it heals it should be fine" Kasey said looking at Eva

they sit there talking for a while

meanwhile Kelly slowly opens her eyes and looks around she looks towards Kasey and Eva as their deep in conversation

Kelly tries to sit up but groans from the pain and falls back down while grasping her shoulder catching Kasey and Eva's attention

"hey your awake" Kasey says looking over at Kelly

"how long was i asleep for" Kelly asks trying to sit back up again

"for a few hours at the least" Kasey says

"I might as well go back to sleep then" Kelly jokes and she rolls onto her side with the uninjured shoulder in the air and covers herself with the blanket

"ok have it your way" Kasey says standing up

"I have things I need to get to so ill come back and check on you guys later" Kasey says looking back at Eva and Kelly before heading toward the door and exiting the room

"your gonna get out of here aren't you?" Eva says looking at Kelly after hearing the door shut

Kelly sits back up and looks towards Eva and notices Aaron lying unconscious

"its better than staying here" Kelly says now looking at Eva

"id suggest you do the same but your ankle needs to heal" Kelly says looking down at her ankle and then back at Eva

"you heard our conversation" Eva says with like a smirk on her face

"not all but most of it" Kelly says looking at Eva

Kelly looks down at her lap and looks as if she's thinking of something

"I'm going to move the pack" Kelly says as she turns to get ready to sit up with a look of determination

"now!?" Eva says in shock

"now's the best time as long as you can keep him here" Kelly says getting up and walking towards a cabinet full of medicine stuff

"does that mean you've found a new place for us" Eva says

"not only that but well become bigger and much stronger" Kelly says as she grabs some stuff put of the cabinet

"what do you mean by that" Eva asks as Kelly puts down the stuff in the top of cabinets as she turns around to face Eva and leans on the cabinet with her hands on the top supporting her

"the midnight gang" Kelly says with a smile on her face while looking at Eva

"the midnight gang is full of our kind, not only that but no one dares to even touch us" Kelly says as she walks towards Eva as she swings her arms up making gestures as she talked

Kelly stops at the foot of the bed Eva's on and leans her arms on the frame at the end

"were not completely in the safe zone yet but at least they'll be safe from him" Kelly says as she nods her head towards Aaron while explaining to Eva

"I've been planning this for awhile now and now I'm finally back, I was gonna wait a little bit so then well be completely ready but then you showed up and now I have the perfect chance to put everything into place and everyone will finally have a safe place to stay" Kelly says walking back to the cabinet area

Kelly takes off her shirt revealing bandages around her chest holding the bandages on her shoulder in place

Kelly takes a little knife and cuts a line on the bandages on her shoulder revealing her wound

Kelly cleans up her wound a little and rebandages it and replaces the ones around her chest and puts her shirt back on

"I cant get up right now so how do you expect me to keep him here" Eva asks as she watches Kelly

"easy tell Kasey and them everything he's ever done and they'll keep him here if you ask since he's a danger" Kelly explains

"but what if that doesn't work or he escapes" Eva says

"they wouldn't let that happen" Kelly says putting everything back into the cabinet and takes some pills to numb the pain in her shoulder

"and what about-" Eva starts to ask before Kelly interrupts

"he'll be safe, they wont let any harm come to them and plus he's a smart kid if anything happens he'll know what to do" Kelly says as she walks back towards her bed

Kelly puts some pillows under the blanket making it look like she's still asleep

"how do you plan on getting out of here then?" Eva asks

"like this" Kelly says as she walks over to a pile of spare clothes and puts them on and shoves her hair into a hat to keep it hidden and puts a hood over her head

she then stands behind the door just as it opens up to reveal Kasey coming inside to check on them

as the door starts to close Kelly walks out and blends in with others around her as Eva talks to Kasey

Kelly manages to get to the front door and sneaks out and starts heading towards her pack with a look of determination on her face
