chapter 12- stop

Kasey walks over to Sean and asks what happening

Sean snaps out of his frozen state and explains what happens

Kasey takes the phone

"hello?" Kasey asks

"hello?" Eva says

"listen I need you to tell me where your at" Kasey says trying to calm Eva down and keep calm himself

"I don't know we just ran I'm not sure where but we had to go into some alleys and hid I cant walk or anything I twisted my ankle I ran and now I'm stuck I cant go back I shouldn't have left" Eva says getting riled up again trying to keep calm

"listen I need you to head to the main street the best u can but where were you before" Kasey asks walking out of the base with Sean and start running

"we stopped at a café and called you guys" Eva explains trying to get to main street to best she can

"what café" Kasey asks as they run onto the streets and towards the school

"xx café" Eva says

another gunshot sound goes off and spokes Eva

Eva gets to the end of the alley that leads to the main street and sits just as Kasey and Sean run past the café

Eva gets around the corner and just sits by the entrance of the alley

"this is as far as I can go I'm sorry" Eva says as she sees two guys running down in her direction

another gunshot goes by causing Sean and Kasey to stop just before approaching the alley

Kasey looks over at Eva and walks up to her as Sean looks around

Kasey walks over to help

Sean walks over as Kasey props her up on his back

Eva points down the alley

"hurry" Eva says as Sean and Kasey recognize her voice

they go through the alleyways as Eva directs them

they come to where Eva left Kelly only to find a small pool of blood

Eva looks down in shock and fear

"put me down" Eva says with a shaky voice

Kasey puts her down and she sits in front of the puddle on her knees as Kasey and Sean come to realize what this is

"t-this cant be hers right" Eva says with fear in her voice

Eva looks over and notices and trail of blood headed further down the alley

Kasey notices and picks Eva up in his arm and runs down the alley way as Eva holds on and Sean follows behind

while following the trail Eva notices a muddy puddle with Kelly's shoe print and Aarons print beside it but Aarons print has blood in it and looks newer than Kelly's indicating that Aaron ran through first

they stop at a point where it looks like blood is scattered on the wall

"the second gunshot" Eva says to herself

"how many have their been?" Sean asks looking at Eva

"three" Eva says

a gunshot sounds

"make that four" Eva says as they start running towards the sound

as they run they pass by a bullet hole on the wall

they run up and start sounds of struggling in the distance

they come to a stopping point as they see Kelly pinned the wall with Aarons hand around her neck

Aaron has a bullet wound on his leg as Kelly has one on her shoulder

with the gun on the ground in between both groups

Sean gets ready to step forward when Kelly knees Aaron in the stomach causing him lose his grip and Kelly goes around and grabs his head with her arm that's not shot and slams Aarons head into the hall causing it to bleed

Kelly says something but the rain drowns out the sounds around them

Kelly uses her foot and kicks the backside of his knees causing him to fall

Kelly walks over to the gun not noticing the others and turns arounds and points the gun at Aaron who is now sitting with his back against the wall

Sean runs forward as Aaron says something to Kelly

Kelly gets ready to pull the trigger when Sean comes up behind and grabs Kelly's wrist with one hand and the other wraps around locking her other arm down

"stop!" Sean yells as the gun goes off and drowns the sound of his voice

Kelly looks back at Sean with her eyes widen and Sean looks back at her where they are now making eye contact
