chapter 1-prologue

Kelly wakes up and gets ready and heads out to the kitchen where her mom is making breakfast

"good morning" Kelly's mom says as she watches Kelly enter the kitchen

"good morning, I'm not hungry so I'm just going to head to school" Kelly says getting ready to walk out

"I knew you'd say that so here" Kelly's mom says as she stops Kelly and puts a piece of toast in her mouth

"now get going or else you'll be late" Kelly mom says waving as Kelly walks out the door with a piece of toast in her mouth

on Kelly's way to school she's hears screaming in a nearby alleyway and goes to investigate

she sees someone with black hair with some red in it blocked in a corner by two guys

she takes the toast out of her mouth and puts a mask on so she's not recognized and walks towards the group

Kelly throws the toast at the back of their head catching all their attentions

"report" Kelly says walking towards the guy in the middle

"we caught this guy spying on us and it seems that he's part of the sunlight gang" the guy says

the guy sits there as he watches the girl with black and purple hair leans down in front of him and exams him

the boy glares at Kelly as he try's to stand his ground

"trying to act tough will get you nowhere pretty boy" Kelly says as she stands up and looks at the two men

"report back to base until further command I'll take care of him" Kelly says

"yes ma'am" the boys says as they walk off

"as for you" Kelly says looking at the boy

"tell your leader that midnight said hi" Kelly says as she walks off

in the principals office

"welcome you must be Kelly" the principal says as he looks up at Kelly

"yes that's me are you the principal here?" Kelly asks

"yes that's me you can call me Mrs. Silver" the principal says

"here is your schedule" the principal says as she hands Kelly a piece of paper

"thank you um I heard you have dorms here, is that true?" Kelly says

"yes actually but about that all of our girls dorms here are full at the moment so we'll be giving you a dorm on the boys side and don't worry it's only one boy since we have two people per dorm" the principal says

"that's fine with me" Kelly says

"ok good it should only be temporary anyway but if you have any problems with this then come to me" the principal says as she hands Kelly her dorm key

"thank you" Kelly says

"ok take today to settle into your dorm and tomorrow you'll start classes" the principal says

"ok, thank you" Kelly says as she walks out the door
