Chapter 16

Mia listened and heard the car's coming their way. "Uncle, they are coming here?" Mia siad. "What?" Mike siad. "She's right Sam they are coming this way," Sam siad. Mike looked as the cars drove past them and stopped. The driver got out and opened the back door. Her uncle Zack got out and looked at Mia. "Why is it that you are not happy to see me?" he asked.

"Where are my parents?" Mia asked. "Save and I came to get you," Zack said. "My father would be coming for me himself. He never did trust you," Mia siad. "What where is the trust?" Zack asked. "I do not like you and I do not trust you," Mia said. "Your father thought you too well, Mike shall I take this nuisance off your hands," Zack asked.

"She is staying right here Zack and that means you and your lady friend can leave," Mike said. "You and Sam never miss anything do you or did you have Mia do all the work?" Zack asked. "What does it matter, he said you can leave now," Mia said.

Mike looked at Mia but Sally stepped in and touched Mia's shoulder. "Be quiet for a while my dear, you made it clear you do not trust him and we will not force you to go if you do not want to go," Sally said. "But dad always said that if I would get separated from them not to go with anyone. No matter what they said. He would come for me himself," Mia whispered.

The man touched Mia and siad, "I know Mia but just do as you are told we can talk later. Kelly go inside now?" the man ordered. Mia stood with Sally and watched as Kelly walked inside. Mia looked at her uncle Zack who said, "why are you so stubborn? Your father asked me to come and get you."

Mike made he had in a fist and lightning came out. "Dont let me start Zack. We know you're the one that kidnapped John and his wife. I also know you have contacts in the court. Why else would they not believe that she is Zara's daughter and one more thing? What do you want with them?" Mike asked.

Zack smiled and said, "the truth is I do not need John. It's our dear sister I need. You know her special powers, we need them and we suspect Mia has them two," Zack said. Mia looked at Zack and said, "mom has no power she is a normal human," Mia siad. Mike raised an eyebrow and Sam looked shocked at Mia.

Zack's face went from white to red. "Your lying to me, my sister is a dual element user. Lighting, water and wind. You're telling me you never noticed that your mom's emotions affected the weather around here," Zack shouted. Mia looked at Mike but refused to say anything further. Zack tried to come at Mia but Mike and Sam stood in front of him.

"Zack stop wasting your time. If she didn't see her mothers powers she must not have inherited her mother's powers. No worries we already have all we need," the woman siad. Zack got into the car and said, "Mia I hope you are prepared for this but you will never see your parents again." The car door closed and they drove off. Mia looked at Mike and asked, "did mom really have power?"

Mike looked at Mia and then at Sally. Sam was the one that spoke and said, "both your parents are rainbow users Mia, but every rainbow user is different. Some can create storms others can create buildings and weapons. Some has managed to find a way to heal the land," Sam siad.

"Mom hides her powers really well but if they wanted mom why did they take my dad?" Mia asked. "That is a very good question among a million other questions that we have been asking," Mike siad. "What other questions have you been asking?" Mia asked. "Like why they kept having you a secret from everyone," Mike asked as he looked at Sam.

"What did you do?" Sally asked. "Zara never told Mike she had Mia," Sam siad. Sally's eyes grew wide and replied, "John never told his brother about Mia either. He was furious at me for even saying it," Sally said. The man looked at Mia and said, "you're causing a lot of trouble but if I have to say anything I would say you look just like your mother," the man siad.

"Who are you?" Mia asked. Sam was the one that answered, "that's Bill, Sally's current husband," Sam replied. "Well I couldn't let my wife wait here on her own, now could I?" Bill asked. "That you are right," Sam said.

Mike looked at Sally and asked, "did my sister really not tell anyone about Mia's birth?" Sally shook her head and replied, "no, I asked around even got told off for it. No one knows about Mia, in fact, your sister passed all her medical tests. She wasn't pregnant," Sally said.

"How the hell is that possible, I have to documents that say she is their daughter?" Mike said. Mia was about to walk off when Mike said, "O, no you are not going anywhere until I get to the bottom of this," Mike said.

The team was settled in for the night and Mike gave Sally all of Mia's documents. "This does not make sense why would Zara refuse to follow our advice. Why keep Mia a secret?" Sally asked.

Mia tried to think of her parents but whenever she remembered them she would see their happy faces. "Sally what is the meaning of this?" came a voice yelling from inside the base. Sally looked up at the door but quickly looked to see if Mia had awakened, lucky she was still sleeping.

"Sorry about this, Kevin. I know we are taking too long but my sister's actions do not make sense. I was hoping Sally might be able to help," Mike said. "Yes and we know she isn't welcome on the bases. Unfortunately, you have no open hotels at the moment," Sam siad.

"Who is she really?" Kevin asked. "As far as I know and according to these documents. That is the daughter of Zara, Mike's sister and John your brother," Sally said. "The problem is, no one else knows who she is and we can not figure out why Sally what did the elemental test say Mia is?" Sam asked.

"Why do you want to know? I promised I would never tell what she is?" Sally said. "After you tested Mia, Zara and John went underground. What did the test say?" Sam asked.

Everyone looked at Sally and she finally broke. Sally looked at Mia and siad, "she has the five basic elements, super hearing and vision. She has no limitations in either of her elements and she has the ability to create new elements and use them at will," Sally replied. Mike looked at Mia and siad, "that would make sense why Zara didn't tell us about Mia?"

"What do you mean?" Sam asked. "It's an old family secret of ours. Do you remember when John arrived at our base what my father's reaction was?" Mike asked. "Yes i remeber he was furios. I believe he refused to help John and Kevin even though they were still children," Sam siad.

"That's because we have a family secret that is just as dangerous as there's," Mike said. "What do you mean?" Sam asked. "Do you remember when the first elementals were discovered?" Mike asked. "Yes, it's said some of them were used in experiments but more than that. There were some countries that tried to develop stronger elements," Sam asked.

"Our family is one of that family that was successful in creating such power but in doing so we created a power that nearly destroyed the whole world," Mike siad. "What you're not talking about the mega abilities are you?" Sam asked.

"Yes I am afraid I am, we manage to create two of these powers, mega-storm and mega earthquake. Tell me Sally did Mia test results reveal anything around a mega skill," Mike asked. "Yes, she has a skill but I wasn't able to identify it," Sally said.

Sam looked at Mia and then at Sally. "It's a new skill, the reason they didn't tell anyone about Mia was that they didn't want the world to know they created a new mega skill and that unknowingly," Mike replied.

"Wait you're saying Mia's father, John also had a mega skill?" Sam asked. "Yes, father suspected it made me promise to make sure they are never alone but during the storms and events followed John and Kevin's arrival. We lost the ability to keep them apart," Mike said.

Kevin who was quiet for up until now replied, "I think its best if you leave and go to your base. O and Mike whatever you do, dont come back."
