Chapter 13 – Raiko vs MechAnicAL

Raiko's POV

I entered to room MechAnicAl was in, a basement/bunker with the floor, walls and ceiling all in metal. It was very plain looking, but I knew that this room wasn't as simple as it looked. MechAnicAL was in the center of the room, waiting for me. I activated Quirk Vision to make sure his quirk hadn't evolved, and no, it was still the same thing.

Mechanical Control (6865): Allows user to control mechanical force. Mechanical force can control, as well as strengthen or weaken, anything mechanical or part mechanical.

Of course, I learned what his quirk was a long time ago, using Quirk Vision when I was spying on him for the first time. This was one of the reasons I had chosen to fight him, I knew I could defeat him. I was a cautious guy.

Also, his quirk was like, really strong. He could control guns, cars, or anything part mechanical, and strengthen it, he could make anything mechanical tougher, residents to elements (I once saw him make something wooden fireproof, it was strange), but if something was electric, he had no control over it. I had seen him use his quirk a few times, and it was damn impressive, he was a master of using it. He was stronger than most top ten heroes. But that wouldn't save him today, my quirks countered his pretty well.

When MechAnicAl saw me, he had a look of fear on his face for a fraction of second before it turned into pure rage and madness.

"You finally revealed yourself, Knockout, I thought I would never see you…You may have taken down my entire organization, but showing yourself here was the worst mistake you could've done. Your first and last mistake… You won't be able to defeat me, I'll have my vengeance and, you'll suffer a lot. To quote my grandfather Dan, I gonna cut you from mouth to anus and wear you as a jacket."

Standard villain speech, although the threat at the end was a little bonus. Extra points for the imagination and the gore. Wasn't going to save him tho.

I could've said something hero-like in response, but I simply didn't want to, so I simply nodded and charged toward him.

I knew that I was in his mechanical lair right now (his mechanical lair was room/bunker where everything is mechanical, no electricity, and filled with traps and weapon), so I wasn't surprised when the floor started shift, holes opening below me and spikes emerging fast, intending to stab me. This was what was special with this room, he could almost entirely control it with his quirk, he had built it that way.

I easily dodged his traps, but guns started to fire at me before I could do anything to him. I opened a portal in front of the bullets that was leading behind him, but he was prepared and a wall raised itself from the floor to block the bullets.

What he wasn't expecting was an invisible finger to explode in front of him at the same time, blowing him back through the wall he had just risen to block the bullets. He got up, not very injured and, licking the blood from his lips, he started smiling crazily, and I knew he was going to get serious now.

"Oh, I knew there was something more about you, but this is…Intersting. I must congratulate you for the blow you managed to land on me, but it will be the only one."

I ignored him and send a punch at him through a portal, but he was immediately covered by a metal armor looking a bit like Ironman's armor.

I was still dodging all the spikes that came my way and the flurry of bullets, so I didn't get a good chance to attack often, but he couldn't land a single hit on me.

The stalemate continued for a bit until I decided that I had enough fingers stockpiled and exploded almost all of them at the same time, having escaped the room, and the building through a portal before because I wasn't sure if I would explode the building.

The explosion that followed shook the whole building, but it was almost entirely contained by the room/bunker we were fighting in a moment ago.

I used Finger Eyes to see if the villain was still conscious, but, to my surprise, MechAnicAl was still alive and kicking, in an even bigger armor suit than before.

Cackling madly, he spoke, with madness in his eyes:

"Oh, you want to plat like this Knockout? I'll show you a glimpse of what I can do…"

It was at this moment that things started to go crazy.

As I was preparing myself for whatever he would do next, mainly detaching and regrowing fingers like crazy, what happened what certainly out of my expectations.

The whole building started to shake, concrete blocks falling from the ceiling. I warped a few fingers inside it before stepping back and watching what would happen next.

The scene I saw in front of me was now out of a science fiction movie. The building started to tremble, blocks of it falling to the ground. It started to transform itself into a giant robot with MechAnicAl as its core. I could tell it was one giant mechanical contraption from the numerous gears and other metal pieces visible.

It was a monstrous, humanoid, 50 metres tall colossus made all in metal, mostly steel. You could see the mechanism that made it work and "feel" power, the mechanical force, from it.

It was time to get serious.

I activated Steel Body, as I had deactivated it to let it rest a bit when I exited the building, and exploded all of the fingers I had left inside the building. So, twenty or so fingers. I had regrown so much of them in a short time that my regeneration quirk was dead tired, it was pushed beyond its limit for too long.

The explosion I made was enormous. Everything in the vicinity was destroyed from the shockwave alone. If before I had woken up neighbourhoods, now the whole city was awake.

Still, it wasn't enough to take down whatever the f*ck was the giant robot in front of me, though it had damaged it a lot.

"Getting desperate Vigilante? Thinking those small explosions will be able to take down this masterpiece. It's the second time I use it, and I must say, it still makes me feel invincible. You should be honored that I will use TyrAnicAl against you. The only other person who had the chance to witness its glory was the previous leader of AnArchY. Though, he's dead now…"

Ah, that must've been why I had absolutely no f*cking idea there was a giant robot in this building, it was there before I started to destroy AnArchY, it was their trump card.

If he wanted to play this game, he wouldn't be the only player. I started to quickly "shed" fingers again, as my regeneration quirk had been able to rest a bit during his "transformation" and monologue…Dumb villain. I ran toward him, then jumped twenty metres in the air, with the help of my stockpiling quirk and threw a punch toward it.

In response, the thing in front of tried to use its palm to crush me, but I opened more warp gates to make the palms hit TyrAnicAl's back.

Also, thanks to 360-degree vision, the arm the sprouted from the robots crouch was seen and also warped away. That was a d*ck move if I even saw one, making an arm there. Not that I was a particularly honorable fighter anyway.

My punch finally connected and I used a lot, like a LOT of stockpiled power to make it as powerful as one of All Might's punch…in his prime, and, the moment it connected, I detached and blew up all of my fingers in the punching hand to make it even more powerful.

The shockwave from my punch was impressive, but didn't destroy anything since our surroundings were already in rubble from my explosion earlier. We were both blown away from the impact, me from my explosion and him from the raw power my punch had. Even the weather was changed!

Still, I had it pretty good, I was only thrown on the ground, but my arm hurt a lot. I would have to wait a little bit before throwing another punch like this, or even a kick, my body wouldn't take the recoil of a second punch (or kick) like this before a couple of minutes.

On the other hand, MechAnicAl and his robot were blown a 100 metres away from me, passing through four streets and a lot of buildings, obliterating them in the process.

I was now very happy that this was an abandoned district and that I had made people near here leave, as I predicted the fight could've gotten a little bit, well, explosive.

The giant robot MechAnicAL was inside of got up, and charged toward me again, not messing around anymore. He knew I was dangerous.

Still, he must've used quite a bit of mechanical force to keep his robot in one piece after that punch, and was now really fearing my power.

We started to fight seriously, but I couldn't throw another I powered punch before a couple of minutes if I didn't want to shatter my arm. Even a kick would've destroyed my arm, it couldn't withstand strong impacts for now, so I stalled for time and started to destroy TyrAnicAl bit by bit with explosions and dodged everything he threw at me.

For the next couple of minutes, the fight was pretty much a draw. MechAnicAl's giant robot was slowly getting destroyed little by little, but my quirks were getting tired, I didn't regenerate my fingers as fast as before and couldn't open warp gate as fluently and easily. The only reason why this fight was still going is that I used as little of my power stockpiling quirk, as my power reserves weren't infinite and that it was still active. Yes, everything I did demand thrice as much as efforts as it normally did. I still wasn't going to completely all out, I didn't want to reveal my real power yet.

TyrAnicAl was immensely powerful, as MechAnicAL could also use his quirk to make his robot stronger and tougher. I was only hit once, a mistake on my part, and far from his most powerful punch, but, even with Steel Body, I felt a few of my ribs crack and was violently thrown on the ground.

The ground around us was littered with holes, from me warping his punches away and explosions, it looked like a battlefield. We had moved a bit during the fight, and the district we were fighting in was completely destroyed, but fortunately the heroes had evacuated everyone near us.

Also, there was now a whole news team covering the fight, with the helicopter and reporters and a small crowd watching it, with heroes making sure that no one got too close or was injured.

Still, it was a nice show for them, but it was time to end this. I could now throw a full-powered punch again.

I jumped high up in the air, at the level of the colossus's core, so around thirty meters high, and kicked the robot with the most stockpiled power I was able to handle in my current state.

This time, I wasn't blown back as violently as before, I was ready for the shockwave and recoil, so I landed normally.

The same couldn't be said for the robot, TyrAnicAL. When my kick connected, there was a fraction of a second where nothing happened, before it literally exploded, and it started to rain mechanical pieces around me.

While the crowd was silent, shocked by my power, I did a quick bow before taking MechAnicAL with me and warping away. They were all so stunned by my strength that they didn't even think to try to stop me from leaving, not that they could've succeeded.
