(Stain POV)

Loyal partner? Does he take me for a joke?!

'I'm no ones dog!' I turned to look at Kira and I saw that he was still standing in that non chalant way, and it pissed me off.

"Get out of here. I don't want to be anyones dog!" I turned and started to walk away, but I felt a sudden pain rip through my body.

"GRagh!" I turned around, and the last thing I saw was piercing red eyes.

(POV Kira 5 minutes before.)

I was standing here waiting for his reply, but I was slowly growing annoyed.

'It doesn't take that long to figure out that I just want a fucking loyal dog. Why's he thinking about this shit so hard?'

"Get out of here, I don't want to be anyones dog!" He then turned to walk away.

'Haaah.. I should've just used this first.'

[Cleave.]

I cut his back just deep enough for it not to paralyze him.

"GRAA!" He let out a ear wrenching scream, but I didn't care.

I walked up to him and I looked him in the eyes.

[Kotoamatsukami.]

His body went limp and his eyes went dull, I basically just removed his original memories and made him a clean slate, he still has his combat experience and skills, so I won't need to train him on that.

I lifted Stains body with my right hand and looked at him before using [Kamui.] so I won't have to carry him.

'Well, now that that's over with, lets move onto my next member.'

I then used [Kamui's] warp ability and appeared behind Lady Nagant.

"Yo." I greeted her and what I got in return was a bullet to the chest.

"What the hell?" I didn't react to the bullet that just went through my chest, as the bullet hole healed as soon as it appeared.

"What're you doing here!?" She shouted at me, which was pretty surprising since she seemed to be calm all the time. I guess I was wrong.

"Why are you acting like that? It's weird, stop it." I said with an indifferent expression, she looked at me with wide eyes before they slowly started closing but stopped just above her pupil.

"What do you want. Tell me fast, I'm not in a good mood." I just nodded and spoke.

"Join me." She stared at me, and I mean stared for like 5 minutes... I started feeling weird, so I snapped my fingers and she snapped our of her trance.

"Join you? Why would I join you?" She asked me as she sat down on the edge of the building we were on.

I walked over next to her and sat down, I scooted closer to her so she could hear me better, but she seemed to have other thoughts.

"Stop trying to get all touchy with me. We just met yesterday." I just snickered before I changed the subject.

"I want you to join me, and the reason why, is because you would be free. You wouldn't be tied down to me either, you can move around as you want but you would have to come back to me whenever I ask for you." I explained, she didn't look very interested until I mentioned the word 'FREE'

'So she feels like that already huh?' I just looked at her before sighing.

"What's your agency called?" She looked surprised that I asked that, but she just shook her head and answered.

"Heh, it's for the Hero Association, it's a small branch over in Japan that I was stationed at.. Well more like forced to work. Ever since I first started working and I got my first kill, they had complete control over my life as a hero since they had the records of my kills, and assassinations."

I just nodded my head, and she continued.

"I've been wanting to escape.. to be free, to be able to do whatever I want without having to risk someone shunning me, or exposing my dirty deeds. It never worked though, they always found out somehow." She stopped talking and looked at me, and I just looked back at her before I spoke.

"Well, why don't you join me, and then we can go and destroy that branch of the Heroes Association?" After hearing what I said, she looked at me like I was an idiot.

"You might be strong, but angering a whole organization of heroes won't be good for you." I just laughed at her statement which bought weird looks from her, but I didn't mind.

"I'm immortal! The hell I gotta be scared of? I'm strong enough to wipe out all the hero agencies, but I won't at least not yet. I still have plans to take care of before I off them all.." I turned to look at her, and I noticed she had a different sparkle in her eyes, it was still the same as last time, but now it looks to be... Excitement?

'Why would she be excited? She hasn't even joined me yet..'

She kept staring at me before she turned her head to look over the city lit by the moon light.

"Would you be able to free me?" She turned towards me, but this time she had a look of hope in her eyes..

"Yeah, I can. But what do I get in turn?" I asked, she just smirked and stood up and made her way over to me.

"You get me~" She said in a seductive whisper in my ear, I smiled before I turned to her and responded.

"Don't make promises you aren't sure of." I backed away from her and looked at her face that was clearly puzzled, I know why she's puzzled. It's because she thinks she has nothing to offer, but she has more than she knows.
