Chapter 51

TITLE: Hero Work Studies (2) - Battle with the Rabbit

The following day, Sora and Hana could be seen standing in the field of the Edion Stadium as they wore the U.A. sports attire, and standing opposite them was Mirko who was wearing a sleeveless tank top and joggers as she looked at the two. They were stretching their bodies as they prepared for the test.

Hana had a smile on her face meanwhile Sora had a stoic expression, but he wasn't feeling very confident but since they had already gotten this far he could either give it his all or just give up. He wanted to go for the latter but since his girlfriend wanted this so bad, he decided that for once, he'd go plus ultra.

Mirko was also smiling as she looked at the two, she knew the two quite well. Sora Menhera was a very popular figure all around Japan, due to his exploits in U.A. and the kidnapping incident involving AFO. His girlfriend, Hana Nakamura was also very popular after she was the daughter of one of the richest if not the richest man in Japan. Looking at her figure, she knew the girl was well-trained, and considering their reputation she was sure it'd be fun but then Sora asked a question

"Umm, how's this going to work?"

"What do you mean?" Mirko asked so he explained

"Well you said we weren't supposed to use our quirks but I don't think it'll be possible, Hana's quirk is a reinforcement type so it might be active even now, yours too. I use mine instinctively so I don't think I'll be able to stop my instincts so there's no way it's going to work out"

"Hmmmmm" he made a valid point. Except Mirko had some device that could suppress their quirks, there was no way this was going to work out. So she thought of a solution and then her imaginative bulb lit up as she said

"Wait a sec" Before she jumped off. The two stared at her leave before sharing a glance as they moved to the seats in the field.

Mirko finally came back with a bag strapped to her shoulder. Seeing this, the two stood to their feet as they wondered what was in the bag but that curiosity soon turned to dread as she dropped the bag on the ground creating a miniature crater.

'What's in that bag' they wondered as though reading their thoughts, Mirko unzipped the bag and within they saw about 4 metal bracelets and then Mirko explained

"These are weights that you will put on for the fight, they each weigh about 20kg and there are 4 for each of you so that's 80kg per person. It'll serve as limiters during the fight. Cool?"

"Yeah," Sora said with a smile before he asked, "So we can use our quirks?"

"Yep"

"Alright" Sora was ecstatic, Hana didn't share this joy as she looked at the weights, she felt like it would greatly impede her movements but since Sora was okay with it, it meant they'd be okay.

"What about you Mirko?" Hana asked

"What about me?" Mirko was confused so Hana decided to be direct

"No limiters for you?"

"Nah, there's no need. You guys should be able to push me back with this, right?"

"Sure," Sora said with a smirk. 'This will be fun' he thought as he and Hana put on the limiters and took a battle stance.

"After the count of 3, attack"

"Un" they nodded

"1...2...3... GO!"

BLINK! Sora was in front of Mirko, his fist ready to hit her square in the face. Immediately, her reflexes kicked in as she bent down dodging the blow. Without wasting a second she stood up with force aiming to nod his chin but Sora was quick as he vanished into thin air causing Mirko to hit empty air but she didn't have time to be surprised as Hana appeared in front of her with a sadistic smile as she said

"I ask for your guidance teacher"

"Come" Mirko scoffed as she arranged her posture before Hana rushed in.

*BAM...BAM...BAM...!*

Everyone of Hana's attacks were blocked by Mirko though she was being pushed back slightly. Hana seeing that attacking head-on was ineffective decided to go about this another way as she tried punching Mirko in the face, the latter was already prepared to dodge but then Hana stopped in her tracks and fell forward surprising Mirko as she wondered if she had fainted mid-battle but what happened next shocked her as when Hana was about to fall flat, her eyes shot open. Landing on all fours, she leaned to the side as she performed a sweep, catching the hero off guard as in the next seconds she saw herself falling to the ground, Hana didn't miss this opportunity as she pushed herself upward, her left hand clenched into a fist aiming for Mirko's jaw but the hero wasn't ranked 5th for nothing as she stopped her fall with both hands before kicking Hana's side throwing the girl a couple of feet away though Sora stopped her fall with the wind.

"This is fun"

Mirko said with a smirk before glancing at Hana. Then turning her attention to Sora, she said "You guys are good but that's not all right?"

'Well we have already accomplished the goal of this fight which was to push you back but since you want more...'

"I'll oblige" he said

Immediately he vanished and Mirko sensing the danger around her, dashed backward dodging a wind spear (which was visible) but she didn't have time to rest as they continued raining down on her.

After she dodged one of the spears, another came straight at her causing her to step back again and then...

*BANG* Sora struck her firmly in the gut but she didn't budge, this surprised him as his hand was coated with the wind as strong as steel but this was a mistake on his part as Mirko didn't miss this opportunity as she head-butted the kid, her attack breaking all the layers of the windshield around him and even passing through his wind aura as he went blank for a second, this was all Mirko needed as she mustered all the power in her legs and struck his gut throwing him to the seats

"DARLING!" Hana shouted she felt a mix of emotions from shock to worry to anger and then she looked at Mirko, her eyes glinting a red hue as she stood up and roared, her horns grew in size, and a red line appeared underneath her eyes and her normally cyan eyes now had a red hue to it as she glared at Mirko, giving the latter goosebumps as Mirko laughed madly as she taunted her saying

"Show me what you've got"

BLINK! In an instant, Hana appeared before Mirko as she tried punching the Rabbit but she easily blocked it but she was surprised by Hana's speed and she wondered if she still had the limiters on. But she couldn't ponder on it long as she engaged Hana in battle

*BAM...BANG...BAM...SWOOSHH...!*

The two were trading fists and kicks but Mirko held the advantage as only a few bruises could be seen on her but Hana was kinda riddled with bruises, but she didn't relent making one think she had lost her mind, but it didn't matter as she jumped backward and bite her lip with a force that caused her to bleed. She spewed the blood on her palms and clenched them for a while before opening her palms immediately the blood turned to a staff shocking Mirko but then that staff grew a sharp head thus becoming a scythe.

"Damnnn that's badass," Mirko said as though jealous but Hana wasn't in the right state of mind to hear it as she jumped at Mirko aiming to slash her.

Mirko reacted fast as she backflipped but she couldn't rest as Hana continued slashing at her, the hero was easily able to dodge her attacks but she was still getting injured as Hana was improving as the battle went on.

'She has potential' Mirko thought before deciding that it was about to end this as her smile vanished and got replaced with a frown that changed the air around it to say she was playing this whole time and it was about time to be serious.

*BAM* Mirko punched Hana, knocking her unconscious immediately.

"Haaa... that was fun" Mirko sighed as she stretched her arms but it wasn't over as she heard a whisper

"Oi" Immediately she turned behind since that's where it came from but didn't see anything and then she was forced to lift her leg in a guard to block Sora's punch but though she did, it still did its damage.

"Oh you're awake"

"Yeah, can't let my girlfriend be the only one giving her all"

"Woah... is that so? So you will be going God mode?"

"Nah, not really," Sora said nonchalantly, he wasn't ready to give it his 100% though she had broken past his barrier and even his wind aura, which was a feat not many had accomplished it didn't mean he'd give it his all, the reason being: he didn't feel like to, there was no need to kill himself just to push her back but he was planning at least to punch her so without wasting a second he surrounded himself with wind, this time as strong as gold as he said

"Clench your teeth Mirko"

"Hah"

SWOOSH! Sora appeared in front of Mirko his fist ready to punch her face, she was unfazed as she said

"Sam old technique"

"You think" Sora retorted with a smile as his hand phased through her, shocking her and that was all Sora needed as immediately a wind blast hit her square in the jaw throwing the rabbit a couple of feet back.

"How do you like that" Sora said before falling to the ground, unconscious.

Mirko was also on the ground but she wasn't unconscious rather she was still in shock as she placed her hand on her jaw, a first-year student was actually able to throw her a couple of feet back with an attack.

'Fun' Mirko thought as she glanced at the two before looking at the sky while saying

"Maybe it will be okay to take care of these two kids"

She approved.

Please can somebody explain to me why this fanfic doesn't appear on the rankings, cuz it makes no sense to me. We were at 80+ stones last week, we were supposed to be in the top 100 or so but nothing, why's that??
