25 Chapter 22
TITLE: Sports festival (2) – WTF!!???

'Wow what an entrance'
Many thought as they saw Sora appear. Seeing him, many class 1A students heaved a sigh of relief, they were worried he was sick but seems he was perfectly fine, they didn't bother asking why he came late as they could already guess it was because of laziness.
Sora ignored the looks some certain people were giving him, as he said
"Sorry am late, a black cat crossed my path so I had to go the long way. Anyway, my dear mates, this sounds troublesome so try your best. Thank you" with that he descended the stage.
'Yeah, like hell that's true' many thought after hearing his excuse but Aiko thought differently 'hmm, did Mochi disturb Sora today? Maybe I should get rid of him'
A shiver ran down Sora's spine as soon as he arrived near his class.
'Hmm, why did I suddenly feel cold? Air isn't supposed to affect me' he thought but soon shrugged it off as he focused on Midnight who began speaking.
"Without further ado, it's time we get started. This is where you begin feeling the pain. The first game of the festival is…"
A screen appeared hand and as though one had inserted a coin into a lottery machine, the pictures on it began scrolling at an incredible speed until it finally stopped and there it was written…
"OBSTACLE RACE"
With that, Midnight began the briefing
"All the classes will be participating in this race. The track is 4km outside the stadium and there's only one rule: don't leave the course. As long as you don't do that, anything goes. Now then take your places contestants"

Standing before a gigantic gate where the first-year students, each had a determined expression as they readied themselves to go well except Sora who had his hands in his pocket as he looked at the gate, a bored expression coloring his face as he looked at the gate.
"Haaaaaa…" He sighed as he thought 'let's get this over with'
"BEGIN" Midnight shouted right after and immediately, the gigantic gate open and the students didn't waste a second as they stormed into the path behind it but this was a terrible idea as the path got congested.
Shoto Todoroki was the first to get out of this situation as he froze the floor and glided his way out, this acted as a trigger as the class 1A students got innovative and found their way out before others followed.
Sora just stood outside the pathway and kept watching the situation but when he saw a green figure flash by him, he froze. He looked forward and saw Izuku but this time something was different, the guy was shining and green lightning sparkled from time to time.
'WTF!!!????'
He couldn't believe his eyes as he slapped himself a couple of time until he finally realized, this wasn't a dream, it was reality.
'Holy hell!! How the fuck did he learn full cowling'
Sora was beyond shocked as He blinked multiple times, president Mic didn't fail to notice this as he commented:
"Oh, Sora Menhera of class 1A is still at the entrance! GET MOVING kid!"
But Sora didn't hear this as he thought 'oh fuck, how the hell did he learn full cowling now? Is he a reincarnate or did Izuku use his brain will training rather than think of all might?'
But before he could ponder more on it, the ground beneath him shooked. Immediately, he looked forward and noticed a frozen 0-pointer while the other seemed to be punched to the ground. He immediately enhanced his sight with air and as he saw the damage done to the robot, he knew it was Izuku but he didn't bother thinking about the matter anymore as he thought out loud:
"Ahhhh fuck it"
He then lifted himself a little above the ground (hovering) and flew in while ignoring the stares he was given on the way. As he kept flying, he passed a multitude of people but stopped when he noticed the robots blocking the path, though many had been defeated, some still lingered.
Sora swept his hand and immediately, all the robots standing were cut into half and Sora continued
Seeing this, the crowd roared and many began commenting
"Wow, he swept his hand and everything got destroyed"
"Damn, what's his quirk?"
"I wonder if he has a girlfriend"
*THUD
Sora tripped on the road and fell face-first to the floor.
'Wtf!? What's wrong with me today!?' He groaned before getting back up and continuing the course but as he was about moving, he heard:
"If contestants want to pass this part, they'll have to get creative. It's THE FALLS"
'Creative? I'll just fly right over it' Sora scoffed as he kept flying at a moderate rate, his reason being he didn't want to take first place here as that'll be very troublesome.
He continued flying and finally arrived the falls but he didn't bother stopping as he continued flying but while flying he saw a blue-haired boy using people to climb over the ropes.
'What a convenient quirk, feels like I've seen him before' Sora thought as he looked at Shinsou but he soon stopped as he continued forward.

While this was happening,
Izuku could be seen running towards the 3rd part of the obstacle course, the minefields.
He looked at the area before him before rushing in with a smile on his face as he recalled his training.

--- Many days before the festival ---
A young boy no less than 15 was standing by a beach, he had green hair and was of average height. He had his right hand in the form of a flick and his eyes closed as a frown was visible on his face.
He was training on how to control OFA by visualizing the egg in the oven not exploding but he still hadn't gotten any results as of yet.
Sighing he stopped the training as he fell ass first to the ground.
'Damn why isn't it working, I've tried what all might told me to but they have been no results. If I can't control this quirk, how can I show myself to the world? Haaa' he sighed yet again.
The sports festival was just some days away and he believed he didn't stand a chance at winning without control of his quirk.
He soon stopped and was about to head home but before he did, an image of Sora appeared in his mind and a question appeared too
'What will Sora do in my position?'
Izuku already knew the answer to this question as he kept thinking, recalling the instances he had used his quirk, how Sora punched, and many others and finally, he had a revelation
'Rather than gather it in one spot, I should let it spread out evenly.'
At that instance, he had discovered the best way to use OFA, full cowling and in the remaining days, he got used to it and now he could use 10% of OFA.

Izuku soon stopped reminiscing as he refocused on the track before him but before he could continue, a long trial of ice appeared in his sight, and sliding on it was Todoroki who was getting closer and closer
"I won't let you beat me so easily," Todoroki said but before Izuku could fire back he heard:
"Who are you bastards leaving behind!?" Both turned and saw Bakugo, who propelled himself in their direction, he was pissed off.
This turned into a struggle between the three to determine first place.

"Haaa… finally!"
Sora sighed as he finally arrived at the last track. He looked at the landmines on the floor and couldn't help but feel proud he could fly. He turned his attention to the students and noticed many had already arrived but they couldn't use their full power due to the landmines but he frowned when he noticed three individuals were fighting. He enhanced his sight and his frown turned into that of anger as he thought
'Those motherfuckers! They're still here!'
He was referring to Izuku, Todoroki, and Bakugo. He believed by now, one of the three would be arriving at the finish line but it seemed he expected too much from them.
'Welp there's no helping it now, I have to do that'
Sora sighed as he shot himself forward. Seeing his flying figure, many were surprised but the trio was different as they immediately stopped fighting amongst themselves and charged towards the exit. All 4 were headed to the same place but there could only be one winner:
"The first to make it back to the stadium is… IZUKU MIDORIYA"
And at the end, Izuku had won this struggle and after him, Todoroki followed before Bakugo until Sora finally came in fourth.
But the trio didn't feel happy as they looked at Sora, they all knew he had let them win and his reasons was something they easily guessed
'Too troublesome'

Yep, I did my job well.
Gave Izuku full cowling early just to make this festival more interesting.
I don't know how you feel about it. But if you feel angry, then… I don't know what to do about it, just doing my job
And for the speech, that was something I pulled out of my ass except the excuse, of course, never given a speech in this life, not my fault
