9 Chapter 9: H shaped building of mystery.

(A/N: Religion is being discussed in this chapter, so of thats something you sensitive about it then this may not be for you.)

Recap

A lone candle that was bound to go out soon lightly illuminated the letter that was just written.

The envelope was addressed "To UA. From the Shimizu Household."

The summarized contents of the letter were Suijin expressing his admiration for the school. His explains his desire to attend that school and his desire to become a hero.

The last excerpt that was written was,

"I have come to know recently that change does not start without a single step. That is because without failure, innovation cannot be brought about. I desire to become a hero to change the unjustness of this world.

To preserve and bring about prosperity among the people. I may not get into this school. Maybe I won't get into the other one I applied to either, but I will not stop.

A great man once said that if one's heart is strong enough, it can make up for anything else that's lacking. And I've recently been told that I have such a heart. So I desire to be given the chance to enter your prestigious school. Even if I don't get in, my name will not disappear.

~Sincerely Simizu Suijin. "

A single wet spot could be seen on the paper, and thus, with that being said, it was wrapped in an envelope to be sent to UA.

*10 Month Timeskip*

"Weather conditions are expected to stay around 24°C, (75°F), with the coming of spring, consider heading outside every once in a while to witness the beautiful Sakura's blossom. And on that note, parents of young teens who are attending the U.A entrance exam, send your child with some love and we'll all hope for their best."

Many news channels, each relaying the same content, could be heard as the duo passed through the streets.

Suijin, who was wearing a pair of denim blue long sleeve shirt and pants to represent his dad, was unnaturally flexing as he walked, straining himself which could be heard from the grunts that came out his mouth.

Shoji decided to wear standard blue sweats and a blue sports tank, which allows for maximum efficiency with his arms. Looking at the two and people's reaction to them walking, Suijin's unnatural behavior could be found.

It's early in the morning and their parents forced them out of the house at 7, so they could arrive early since according to them

'On time is late, and Early is on time.'

Both boys were scholars of their schools and had some of the highest scores in their grade level. So they were not unfamiliar with the saying.

'But why'd we leave at 7 if it's a 20 minute walk to U.A and the exam starts at 10:30!'

Suijin couldn't help but grumble, as he's not much of a morning person. After they left their houses, he immediately demanded Shoji to take a detour and that they were going to Dunkin' Dreams for their Wake up wraps and some coffee.

So as they walked back with Suijin being a little less angry, he started to notice staring. This was nothing new to either of them, as they…looked out of place.

However, the usually repulsed, hate filled looks weren't there. Instead, admiration and mild lust filled peoples eyes when they looked their way.

At first he thought that they were looking at the new him, after training for ten months a new tiny bump could be seen on his biceps, although many would say it looked too small to call it such.

But something felt off. He traced their eyes and landed on Shoji's beefy arms. Although he wouldn't say anything and rarely showed more than a portion of his skin, Shoji, if you disregard the abnormal body parts, had the body of an Olympic athlete at the age of 16.

With chiseled muscles, and hair that mysteriously curved down just enough to block his eyes from others.

Suijin normally didn't care but since Shoji wore an outfit that maximized his mobility the states became constant.

He tried to imitate Shoji by flexing his arms but 'for some reason', Suijin thought. Nobody was mesmerized by his enchanting looks.

And so as they neared the school, with the time being 9 am, Shoji turned around and gave him a questioning look.

Suijin discreetly stopped flexing his muscles (Not that anyone noticed) and muttered "Nothing."

Before speeding up in front of Shoji. After passing a few blocks two huge H shaped buildings both connected by a walkway in the middle of the H stood before them.

They stopped to admire the sites, Suijin was amazed at the shape and wondering how troublesome it would have been to build it. While Shoji was wondering why it was made out of two way glass.

Just looking through, Shoji could see the occasional student pass by. Along with an assortment of…'teachers?' While the duo stood in place, dozens of other students walked by.

They made their way into the crowd and walked as they admired the view. Ultimately, they were handed tickets and walked into a reception area.

Thousands of people were lined up in the room. Chattering could be heard all about as various conversations flowed.

Suijin had chosen a seat in the very back, allowing him to get a good look at the people in the room, otherwise known as his competitors.

'Green prickly hair? And seeing that guy's reaction from brushing his arm on it it would appear that it's some kind of thorny plant. She must be that Shiozaki girl from the head priest's family. I remember now, she was on my list.'

Religion in the World filled with quirks has become commonplace. Faith is at an all-time high. With people being able to perform miracles at the twist of a hand, new religions are being created every day.

People's devotion to gods have become so heavy that even the law has taken a step back in managing the church for fear of riots occurring. As long as things don't get too extreme and certain lines aren't crossed, churches practically manage themselves.

It's become so commonplace that whenever the word 'Kami' is heard by others, people have all agreed to collectively not ask further details.

Suijin, lived up to the name he previously had given himself as the Potential #1 Advisor in Japan. Although he's been training with his newly awakened quirk with his dad these past 10 months, he hasn't forgotten his past knowledge.

He even had a plan to attend the U.A. with Shoji. Of course not in the famed Hero Course but in the Department of General Education. To become the assistant to a future pro hero he devised a 10-year plan, staring with first…

*Tap*

Suijin looked up at his muscular friend, Shoji nodded his head up and as they both turned their heads a man in a black suit with yellow hair curving up took to the stage.

"ARE YOU READY!"

The crowd was silent, besides a mere tiny whisper of a "~yeah" That eventually died off. The announcer certainly wasn't too happy about having a silent crowd.

"ALRIGHT, SINCE YOUR STILL TIRED, LETS GET THINGS ON A ROLL."

All entrance doors shut loudly, the sound reverberated with an echo in the room.

"THE EXAM BEINGS NOW!"

(A/N:I'm adding some things since honestly, Horikoshi added way to little in the world building aspects and the U.A entrance exam. Its like he only cared about showing off deku's moments and just wanted the story to flow. Its so prominent that his huge side cast is just now in chapter 367 of the final arc receiving character development and backstories.

Of course as the topic relates to my book I will incorporate some things from the manga, but don't expect everything to go 100% the same as it did in Mha. So whether you interpret this as an AU or me just adding details is up to you. Now, our Protagonist Suijin has reached the U.A. entrance exam. Just know that passing this time won't be as easy as before. Especially with his strength….ops…well you can know that tad-bit of information. Hope you enjoyed the chapter, and until next time. )
