13 Making a new future rival

After the quirk assessment test was over Mr.aziwa the home room teacher dismissed the entire class because it was the first day of school so there was not much to do. Currently, we can find both Mei and Denki in a part of the underground training base that was turned into a high tech lab for Mei, working on the final touches of Mei and Denki's hero costume. Wel for the most part it was Mei who was doing all the work.

Mei's hero costume consisted of a black skin tight and strong bodysuit with lines of pink on certain parts of it and a pink atilary belt which consisted of many capsule corps capasales (capasales from dragon ball z) witch had many useful things in them such as 1st aid kits, laser guns, grappling hooks, blood and food pills, an extra costume and even ODM gear (yes the ones from attack on titan), she also had black gloves witch had shock absorption and had a secret department in it that had syringes packed with various lethal and non lethal poisons, and finally she had skin tight black knee length boots that also had shook absorption and held various secret departments that had a number of sharp items in them such as knives and throwing knives.

For Denki his hero costume consisted of a skin tight black shirt and pants that perfectly showed the outlines of all the muscles that Denki worked hard for over the years and (you know what i spent 15 minutes trying to describe this costume but i can't so imma take the lazy way out and just say search up '4-star dragon ball costume' but the main part of it is yellow and he has goku's red power pole witch Mei made for him (if you don't know what the power pole does you are uncultured)).

When Denki looked at his hero costume he looked at it with a smile and gave a nod of approval to both Mei and the costume causing Mei to start fishing for compliments "so what do you think of it?'' asked Mei.

Denki answered with a grin on his face "it so me, imagine how flashy i can be with this suit and it looks very efficient and does not look like it will restrict my fast moving paste a lot and i'm going to assume that it can already take on the full brunt of my electricity, it's perfect." Denki finished effectively gassing up Mei's ego.

"Well i'm glad that your pleased with the finished product it's to bad that i did not have enough time to add more adjustments to it but this will do for now, and don't forget to give me any feedback or ideas you might have if the suit is not up to your satisfactory," Mei said in a teasing tone trying to sound professional

Denki just rolled his eyes at his girlfriend's antics and pulled her into him while putting his arms around her shoulder and began to walk out of the lab because Mei did not have any more business in the lab and it was getting pretty late.

"Hey watch out for my babies." Mei shouted a little frantically since she stumbled a little bit due to Denki pulling her under his arm with his superior strength causing Denki to chuckle at her.

Mei pouted at Denki since he was making fun of her with his mocking gaze and after a while she could not take it so she punched him in the rib but she did not get the desired result since she only punched with 70% of her strength and the punch did nothing to him so his grin only widend.

Mei blushed in embarrassment for thinking that she could hurt Denki without using her 100% strength and she just leaned into his sweater hiding her face from Denki as if she was a little girl causing Denki to break out into a full out laugh much to Mei's annoyance.

Next day in class

It was currently the third class of the day and it was english being taught by the teacher present mic much to the annoyance of a couple of students since he was so loud and after english class it was finally lunch time.

For lunch, Mei decided to leave Denki to his own devices so that she could socialise with the other females of class 1A much to the annoyance of Denki. After Denki got his lunch from the hero lunch rush he looked around the cafeteria searching for an empty seat.

What Denki spotted was a table that was entirely empty except for one kid who everyone seems to want to avoid katsuki bakugou, Denki walked up to the seat and sat across from bakugou and asked "the names bakugou right."

Bakugou just opted to glare at Denki hoping that it would make him go away or even kill him, Denki being the person that he just decided to make fun of bakugou until he spoke which he knew would not take long.

"So you're the silent emo type." Denki said while sporting a grin on his face bakugou was now gritting his teeth and even shaking in anger to not yell at Denki, but unfortunately for him Denki saw this as a game and continued to try to break bakugou out of his silence "since there is no response i'm going to assume that my assumption about you being an emo is correct."

Finally, bakugou had enough of this and shouted "what the fuck do you want eye patch why dont you get fucking lost." Denki just grinned because he just won the mental game that he was playing in his head and responded by saying "calm down the only reason i bothered to approach you is because you're not weak like the others and i can respect your competitive nature at least that's what i could tell from the quirk assessment test that we did yesterday."

Bakugou seemed to calm down a bit since he was somewhat satisfied with that answer and he also acknowledged Denki's strength and saw him as a rival but it was not like he would ever admit that out loud he was way too prideful.

Denki continued to speak since he saw that bakugou made no plans in speaking but he could visibly see that bakugou was listening meaning that he is acknowledging Denki "right now you're not on my level and the gap is obvious." bakugou began to growl and was about to explode into a madman rant but Denki cut him off before he could even begin.

"Before you could explode hear me out, the first step to getting stronger and breaking past your limits is to understand and recognize that you're weak and the reason that I came to you is because I can see a lot of potential in you and I want you to get stronger." Denki finished

The calm(ish) Bakugan clenched his fist at Denki words before he asked "why the hell do you want me to get stronger what do you get out of this." Denki put on a battle thirsty grin that he usually hides under his playful attitude and said "I gain a stronger rival, right now i don't see you as a rival you're far too weak but if you could unlock your true potential you could probably give me a real fight."

Bakugou just swallowed his pride and accepted Denki's word but he still had a question "why me how about your little girlfriend or the icy hot basterd ." bakugou said

Denki was expecting this question so he answered "the reason that i'm not interested in todoroki as a rival is because he is not motivated or competitive enough like you are, he was not even using the full capabilities of his quirk to try to get first place in the quirk assessment test, and me and Mei are still competitive it's just not as intense of what i'm looking for and plus if i were to train you, you have a way more potential then her since your quirk is better."

Bakugou nodded at his reasons but he also couldn't help but ask "what is that girl's quirk anyway." Denki smirked and said her quirk is "increased vision." when bakugou heard this his eye snapped open and asked "how is that possible."

Denki saw this as an opportunity to boast about his training well his master's training but still the same difference… right "my training is just that good." Denki said with a smirk on his face.

Bakugou now fully realised that Denki would be a good ally to have if he could get his girlfriend that strong who quirk is basically useless and it was a plus that Denki was strong himself since bakugou did not want to be suroned by weak people.

After they finished getting down to business they began to get to know each other better while over in the other side of the cafeteria izuk was looking at Denki with envy in his eyes because he saw him talking to his 'best friend' kachan as if they were friends something izuku could never do.

After a while izuku mustered up the courage to take his tray over to the table that bakugou and Denki was sitting at and when he got there he said "hey kaminari and kachan."

When both Denki heard the voice of the person they both commonly dislike they turned around and glared daggers into Izuku's soul and said at the same time "get lost Deku/midoriya." then Denki asked bakugou what was the meaning of Deku and when bakugou told him Denki also adopted the word and started calling izuku Deku.

Izuku's POV

Why doesn't kachan want me to sit there i thought he was starting to warm up to people since he let kaminari sit with him.

Suddenly my chest began to hurt and i started to get a feeling of betrayal form my best friend kachan and suddenly my cheeks were wet and i could see that both kachan and kaminari where laughing at me.

I felt embarrassed so i began to run away but then i tripped and while i was tripping i looked down to see what i tripped on only to see that i tripped on air and now before i knew it i was on the floor with tears running down my face and my ravioli all over my face and uniform and the entire cafeteria was laughing at me

When I noticed this started to run away hoping I could get away from their laughter but then suddenly I tripped on AIR!!! Again causing everyone to laugh harder so i stopped taking chances and crawled out of the lunch room in front of everyone.

How humiliating.
