15 15: Sports Festival Commence!

The days flew by in the blink of an eye...
And today is the day of the Grand Event!
But before that...
[3 Days Earlier...]
"Hagakure-san." called out Akira.
"Hm? What is it, Takumi-kun?"
"Uhm, I want to perform a test on you. It's something harmless. We can even do it here..." replied Akira awkwardly.
"Eh? W-well... What is it about?"
"Uhm, I'm not sure if this will work... But if it will, then it might deactivate your mutant quirk..."
"R-really!? Are you sure that it won't hurt? If it doesn't, then I'm willing to do it!" replied the girl enthusiastically.
"Yes. It won't hurt, theoretically... Uhm, here, hold out your hand..." said Akira as he looked around for any prying eyes. When he saw none, he sighed.
"Okay!"
Akira touched her hand and said, "Deactivate."
A part of her hand became visible, but just seconds later...
"I-it burns! Ouch! It hurts, Takumi!" exclaimed the invisigirl.
"What!?" shouted Akira as he snapped his fingers.
"I-I'm really sorry, Hagakure-san! We should probably go to Recovery Girl, to be safe..."
[Present]
So yeah... It would work for Mutant-Type Quirks but it would bring pain towards them...
But, moving on...
{General POV}
Outside of the school, we see many people. Pro Heroes and ordinary people alike!
"It's usually the seniors who are in the spotlight, but this year, it's the freshmen who are getting all the attention!" exclaimed a citizen.
"Hehhhh~ They're attracting Pro Heroes from all over the country... This year is crazy..." said Mt. Lady.
...
In Class 1-A's waiting room...
"Everyone! You should finish your presentations. We're almost set to enter." said Momo.
"Okay, Miss Vice Pres..." said the class.
...
"Man, I really wanted to wear my costume..." Kaminari said to Sero.
The tape boy replied, "Same... But they're not allowed, to "be fair" they say..."
"Midoriya..." called out Todoroki.
And the whole class becomes silent.
Midoriya replies, "What is it, Todoroki-kun?"
"On an objective basis, I'm stronger than you." said Todoroki.
"Wha-? Ah, Uh, Yeah..."
"But, you've still managed to get All Might's attention... I feel no need to pry into that, but... I'm going to beat you."
"Oho? What's this? A Declaration of War from the strongest guy in class?" asked Kaminari.
"I'm not here to play nice and make friends..." added Todoroki.
"I... I have no idea what you want from me... Telling me all that... You're definitely stronger than me, and I think that many students are no match for you..."
"Hey, come on Midoriya. Don't be so negative..." said Kirishima.
"But even so!.. Everyone, even the students from the other departments, is aiming for the top, with all their might! So I can't lag behind the rest! That's why... That's why I'm going to go for it too, with all my might!" declared Midoriya.
"Hmm..."
And a student with a short fuse scoffs.
...
"THE U.A. SPORTS FESTIVAL COMMENCE!!! AND LET ME GUESS, YOU CAME FOR 'THEM', RIGHT??? THE FRESHLY-FORMED MIRACLE STARS THAT SHRUGGED OFF A MASS VILLAIN ATTACK WITH WILLS OF STEEL!!!" shouted Present Mic.
He continued, "THE HEROICS DEPARTMENT! LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TO, CLASS 1-A!!!
"W-whoa... So many people..."
"Wow... They're really praising us to the sky... I'm getting nervous now! You, Takubro? Bakugo?"
"Heh, no way I'm getting nervous. You're just getting stage fright, wuss." replied the blonde student.
"I'm actually not nervous... I'm thrilled. But anyway, you should get used to this, Kirishima-san. You're going to be in situations like this when you become a Pro..."
...
"AND FOLLOWING THEM IS CLASS 1-B!"
"HERE COMES, CLASSES C, D, AND E FROM THE GENERAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT!"
"Man, they're just treating us like an afterthought..."
"I know right?..."
...
"All right! Student Representative!" shouted Midnight.
"May I call on Takumi Akira of Class A?" she asked.
"Eh? Takumi-san is our representative?" asked Midoriya.
"Yep. He placed first in the entrance exam, remember?" answered Sero.
...
As Akira went on stage, he approached the mic and said,
"Phew... Everyone, you're here to prove yourself. I am, as well. So, just do your best while having fun. Plus Ultra! Good luck everyone."
After that, the stadium applauded and cheered. Noise filled the whole stadium as Midnight cracked her whip.
"All right! What a lovely speech from the Student Representative!" Midnight exclaimed.
"Now, let's move on to the Preliminaries! And the first round of this year's Sports Festival is..."
"Obstacle Race!"
"It's a race between all classes! The course makes a nearly 4km ring around the stadium. You're free to do anything, so long as you remain within the course!"
"So, let's get cracking! On your marks. Get set... GO!"
{Akira POV}
With that, the students start running.
"W-wait! This gate is way too narrow!" exclaimed somebody.
Since Todoroki is about to freeze this gate, I,
"Levitate" I float above the crowd and I touch my shoes,
"Blast Off" After that, I start flying through the students, and I see Todoroki freezing their path. But my classmates get past that hurdle.
I look beyond the course and see an army of robots waiting for us.
"HERE COMES THE OBSTACLES!!! THE FIRST BARRIER IS A ROBO-INFERNOOOOOO!!!" shouted Present Mic.
I approach the 0-Pointer Bots with great speed. As I get closer to them, one of them starts attacking me.
The Giant Machine attempts to punch me, but I maneuver out of the way and land on its head.
"Obliterate!" I shout, and immediately jump and blast off. The robot's head explodes to bits as its body falls forward.
...
[From the Ground]
"Ehhhhhh??????" exclaimed the whole class.
"Takumi-san was THAT strong!??" stated Kaminari.
"He single-handedly took down that Giant!" shouted someone from the other Department.
"Tch. That fuckin' nerd..."
"LISTENERS! TAKUMI IS IN THE FIRST PLACE AND LEAVES EVERYONE IN HIS DUST!"
'N-no! At this rate, Takumi-san is going to get first place! I wouldn't be able to keep my promise to All Might!' thought a green-haired boy.
'Did I make a mistake?... Takumi-san was that powerful? But it doesn't matter, I can still beat him with just my right side...' thought a certain boy with father issues as he prepared to freeze a 0-Pointer.

[Back to Akira]
Whoop. There he goes... Todoroki really is overpowered... But I shouldn't be speaking...
Bakugo, Sero, and Tokoyami flys over the 0-Pointer while Momo uses a cannon to knock one down.
"AS EXPECTED OF THOSE WHO SUCCEDED! LOTS ARE FROM CLASS 1-A! JEEZ, WHAT ARE YOU TEACHING THEM, AIZAWA?"
...
I approach "The Fall", but I'm just going to fly past this...
"Hey Aizawa, that's cheating! He can't fly through "The Fall" just like that???" whispered Present Mic but unsurprisingly, everyone could still hear him.
"Everything goes, as long as he's on the course."
"Even Bakugo is flying over too!?"
...
"WELL THEN, TO EVERYONE EXCEPT TAKUMI, IF YOU THINK THAT THE FIRST ONE WAS HARD, WHADDYA THINK OF THE SECOND? YOU FALL, AND YOU'RE OUT! IT'S THE FALL!!!"
...
[On the stands]
"Holy hell, that kid in the first place and second place are on a whole 'nother level."
"Their quirks are really powerful..."
"It's Aki! Kane-chan!" exclaimed a woman from the stands.
"Yeah! He's really something else, isn't he, Aunty?" replied the mentioned woman.
...
"AND NOW WE COME TO THE FINAL OBSTACLE! IT'S THE MINEFIELD! THEY'RE NOT OVERLY LETHAL BUT THEY EXPLODE SO STRONG AND SO BRIGHT THAT YOU'LL DEFINITELY GET BLOWN AWAY!"
"AND! Takumi... He's still flying through!" complained Present Mic with crocodile tears.
I'm honestly just enjoying the flight... But just as I approach the middle part of the minefields, I see Momo from the start of the minefields, struggling because of someone being on her back. And I see the purple midget, smiling perversely.
Now, I can't have my seatmate struggle because of some perverse midget...
So I land on the ground, careful not to set any mines off, grab a stone, and hold my throat.
"OH, FOLKS! WHAT'S TAKUMI DOING?" shouted Present Mic.
"Louden" and then I shout, "MOMO-SAN, DUCK!" She startles at hearing her name she looks around and once she sees me, she obeys.
As soon as she ducks, I levitate and point the stone at the pervert.
"Blast Off" The stone travels at great speed and hits the pervert in the head. He flies off of Momo and gets stuck to the ground.
With that done, I continue flying towards the end of the race, since Todoroki and Bakugo are actually catching up to me.
