21 Mei Hatsume- Arrogant Genius or Insane Megalomaniac?

Just as Bullet was eating, Tenya slammed into the exit wall, shouting loudly "Everyone! Everything's fine! It's just the press! There's nothing to panic about! This is UA! Behave in a way befitting this great institution!"

Bullet didn't know what he was saying, but he had a sinking feeling that there wasn't going to be a drama… He went back to his noodles sadly.

Everyone calmed down and went back to their seats.

Bullet got up and went to put his tray away, giving Lunchrush a thumbs up, saying "Good!" Lunchrush gave him a thumbs up, asking "The Bullies?" Bullet shook his head and smiled "Don't care." Lunchrush sighed and nodded.

In truth, he went to the principal with this news, but Nezu didn't seem to care at all, so Lunchrush was a bit perplexed.

Bullet left the cafeteria and on his way back to class, he bumped into Mei again! She looked over his shoulder and sighed "Another day where my unmatched genius prevents me from eating!" Bullet didn't know what she said but roughly understood 'prevent' from 'preventing hurt people' and 'eating' from 'eating'.

His brain went into overdrive and looked at her asking "Hungry?" Mei looked up and said in shock "Eyeballs! We meet again!" Bullet smiled and blushed a bit, saying as he gestured behind him "Hungry? Eat?"

Mei nodded but sighed, "But Lunch is over…" Bullet patted his chest and turned around, throwing a thumbs up behind him, saying "No fear!" as he walked back into the cafeteria while people were coming out.

Bullet bumped into the bully, who sneered "Well, well! I thought you ran away today! Looks like you came back for your beating!" Bullet smiled and said happily "Food. Friend." The bully laughed with his friends and kicked Bullet to the ground, saying "Friend? Who would be friends with you?! Hahaha! Is that a joke? You're pretty funny, freak!"

Bullet covered his head and smiled, "Thank." The bully's veins throbbed and he stomped on Bullet's face, gritting his teeth with anger as he said "You makin' fun of me?! You piece of trash! You should've even be here! A Quirkless bastard like you! Are you delusional?! This world is run by Heroes with Quirks, what the hell can you do?! Nothing!"

Bullet blocked with his arms but there were so many of them that he got kicked in the nose, bleeding. He smiled, "Sorry!" The bully continued kicking him, grinning, "You will be! Damn bastard! Bringing down our school's rep!"

A bit of punching and kicking later, they got back into the crowd and disappeared as Bullet got up, blinking and smiling as he walked back to Lunchrush, smiling "Food?" Lunchrush looked at his bleeding and bruised face, asking in shock "What?! What happened?!"

Bullet smiled happily and said "Fell!" gesturing, "People. Out! Bullet, fall. Step." Lunchrush looked at him and sighed, he was sure that he was lying, but he asked anyway "What do you want, Bullet?"

Bullet scratched his head and didn't know, he looked troubled and said "Sweet?" before snapping his fingers, saying "Chocolate!" Lunchrush tilted his head, "Sweet? Chocolate?" before nodding "I see!"

He left and came back only a few moments later with a bowl of rice with a breaded chicken cutlet and a plate with a big piece of chocolate cake.

Bullet took the food and said excitedly "Thank! Hero!" before bowing and knocking his head on the counter! Lunchrush chuckled and gave him a thumbs up, saying "No fear, right?" Bullet froze and blushed, "Heh… No fear!" before running off, waiving behind him, "Thank!"

Lunchrush shook his head and laughed, leaving the cafeteria.

Bullet came out and looked around before seeing Mei squatting on the wall in a daze. He ran over and said "Food!" Mei looked over and her eyes sparkled, "Chocolate cake?!" Bullet held out the food and tripped over his feet, holding the tray up as he slammed into the ground face first and slid right in front of her.

Mei looked at Bullet for a moment before laughing and slapping his head, "You're funny, eyeballs!" before taking the food and turning to leave. Bullet looked up and smiled happily, she turned to wave goodbye, when she saw his face and froze.

She walked back and squatted down, holding his cheek, saying in confusion "What happened to your face?" Bullet didn't understand and tilted his head, she giggled and got serious, "Face. Hurt? What happen?"

Bullet looked away and sighed, "Fall! Step." Mei tilted her head, pulling on his cheek, "Ehh? You fell and were trampled? What an idiot! Hahahaha!" she sat there and munched on the chocolate cake, saying "You're so stupid! Hahahaha!"

Bullet rolled on the ground and blushed before sitting up abruptly, looking at her and saying seriously "Me… Quirkless." Mei looked at him and chewed on her chocolate cake, nodding "Mhm!" Bullet was stunned, asking in shock "You know?!"

Mei nodded and said "Mhm!" her cheeks bulging from the cake. Bullet looked worried and explained "No. Kill self. Because lie. Bad. Okay?" Mei stopped chewing, staring at him in confusion before bursting out laughing, falling backwards.

Bullet was worried, oh no! She went insane! This is what happened to the King after his daughter committed suicide! He asked with concern, "Okay? No insane, okay!?" Mei jumped back up to her squatting position, pulling on his cheek as she stuffed the cake in her mouth, "Insane? Suicide? Too many Dramas!"

Bullet was stunned, asking in shock, "Not real?!" Mei pulled on his cheek and laughed at the sky, "OF COURSE NOT!" Her laughter turned into intense arrogance, "HOW COULD THE WORLD TURN WITHOUT ME IN IT?! SIMPLY NONSENSE!"

She shoved the rest of the cake in her mouth and swallowed, pulling on both his cheeks, warping his face out of shape as she said, "How many of my babies wouldn't be made without me?! Who's going to make them? YOU?! Hahahahah! I'll never die! I'm immortal! I AM THE GOD OF MACHINERY! I'LL CHANGE THE WORLD! YOU'LL SEE! YOU QUIRKLESS IDIOT, I'LL BE ALIVE FOREVER!"

She grabbed his face and pulled it close to hers, laughing crazily, "I'll live forever! A thousand years! I'll go to space and colonize planets! I'll terraform Mars! THERE'S NOTHING I CANNOT DO! YOU HEAR ME?!"

Bullet was dazed! He stared at her eyes and said the only word that came to mind, "Wow." Mei shook him and laughed "WOW IS RIGHT! AHAHAHAHAH! I'M THE BEST THERE WAS AND THE BEST THERE'LL EVER BE! I CANNOT BE STOPPED!"

She squeezed Bullet's jaw with one hand and ran her fingers through her hair, looking at the sky and sighing, "Compared to me… The rest are trash." Bullet's eyes turned to stars, he didn't know what she was saying but she was very pretty while saying it.

Not to mention, she was still talking to him after finding out he was Quirkless!

Bullet blushed all over his face and Mei shook him, laughing as she stood up, dragging him up while laughing at the ceiling.

She was… very arrogant…

So arrogant that she borderlined on insanity.

But Bullet didn't know what those words meant so his crush deepened.

Mei glanced at the time and she jumped, "Ah! I have to get back!" she dropped Bullet and pointed at him, saying "You! Eyeballs! You inspired me to create a new baby! Don't run away when I come to find you!" she picked up the rice bowl and scooped up a big scoop into her mouth with the chopsticks, chewing as she pointed at him with the chopsticks, "Thanks for the food!"

She looked at him and bubbled up with arrogant laughter, "You silly boy! You came to UA to be a hero, but you don't have a Quirk!" she stepped on him and held the bowl and chopsticks to the sides, "So what?! You even got trampled!? Who cares!? Hahahaha! What is the support department for!? I WILL MAKE YOU THE GREATEST HERO THIS WORLD HAS EVER SEEN! BAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! THAT'S JUST HOW FUCKING AMAZING I AM!"

She continued laughing as she walked away, shouting "Eyeballs! See you very soon!" Bullet laid on the ground in a daze, he didn't understand a single word… Then he blushed deeply.

Could it be?

She wants to get married?

A thought bubble popped up above his head, showing Bullet and Mei at a wedding but Mei took out giant laser cannons and blasted the place while laughing crazily as Bullet clapped and blushed shyly.
