The cost to live in this luxurious suite starts at 515,700 yen per night, but the exceptional comfort and stunning views make it well worth the price.

I dropped the guest directory I was reading on the nightstand between my bed and Solomon's bed, sighing. "Who would have thought I would be staying in Hikari Heights."

Two hours ago, Solomon and I checked into Hikari Heights. He had wanted their most luxurious suite, but it was already reserved, so we had to get the second-best one on the highest floor, which cost 515,700 yen per night.

"Five hundred thousand yen." I mumbled, picking up my phone and turning it on. Going to my bank account, I looked at it. I still had more than nine hundred and two million yen. "Fuck."

I could feel my heart pounding out of my chest as I stared at the unbelievable amount of money in my account. It was too much money. Way too much for me.

"If this comes to light, I am definitely going to jail." But I trust Solomon. He seemed to know what he was doing and was confident we would get away with this. 'The fact my account hasn't been locked says enough.'

"Besides." I looked around the room, my palms sweaty.

The room is spacious and tastefully decorated with a modern and elegant design. The walls are painted in soft, warm colors, with the air fragranced with the subtle scent of fresh flowers, which is supposed to create a calming and relaxing atmosphere but was doing nothing to calm my nerves.

The large windows provide breathtaking views of the Musutafu city night skyline, making the space feel open and airy, with two elegant curtains that could be drawn for privacy. The twin beds are positioned to face the windows, allowing me to enjoy the stunning views while sitting on my bed.

The beds were fitted with high-quality linens, plush pillows, and cozy blankets, with reading lamps and charging ports beside them. The seating area features a sofa, armchairs, and a coffee table, with a large flat-screen TV said to have international channels and high-speed internet hanging on the wall. On the side of the room was a door that led to the bathroom which he just used.

"This is luxury." I mumbled, clenching my fist. I never once thought I would be here, yet here I was. In one night, I gained more than 900 million yen. In one night, I rose from a slum dweller to a wealthy man. In one night... "I thought this only happened in movies."

Even though we stole the money, it was payment for that girl attempting to kill me and sell Solomon in the black market. "That makes you wonder what she did in the black market to get that much money." I couldn't help but wonder what fucked up shit she had to do to get a net worth of 900 million. How many people did she kill? How many did she sell?

"And she is only in her teens." I shivered. "This world is fucked up."

I am saying that, but I am sure I would have done what she was doing if only I had a quirk.

Sighing, I stood up from my bed, the cozy white bathrobe rubbing against my skin. I had just finished taking an hour-long shower, the best shower I had ever taken in years.

"It was hard getting into this hotel with us smelling like that." I chuckled, remembering the scene we caused at the entrance. I literally had to show the guard my account, explaining that my daughter wanted to play in the dirt with me, so we went to a landfill.

I could never forget the look the man gave me.

Stretching, I walked through the bedroom door and entered the living room. The windowless living room was even more spacious than the bedroom and furnished with a white sofa and comfortable chairs with soft cushions, a coffee table crafted from the finest materials and adorned with a fresh flower arrangement, and a massive flat-screen TV.

At the back of the living room was the dining room, elegantly furnished with a large, polished wooden table and six high-backed chairs. Next to the dining area was a small kitchen with a marble counter, a sink, microwave, a tall fridge, and an Nespresso coffee machine. The area were illuminated by the warm glow of a crystal chandelier hanging from the living room's ceiling, casting a gentle light over the space.

Solomon sat on one of the dining table chairs, focused on his laptop. The table was covered in countless empty plates representing the ghost of the high-calorie food he ordered once he entered the suite. Even though he ate all that food, he didn't look fatter.

No, he looked leaner than before. "What the fuck." It confused me. This was always the case. No matter what my daughter ate, she never got fat but seemed skinnier. Now it is Solomon. "Maybe it is a quirk the body has that he doesn't know about?"

What quirk exactly would make you lose calories that quickly?

Pushing the thought away, I called out to him, but he didn't answer. 'Ah, he is in the 'void' again.'

I have noticed this throughout the six days we have been living together. At random times, he would stare into space and not respond to whatever happened to his surroundings unless something touched him. I asked him about it some days ago, and he said it happens when he goes into deep thought.

'Well, duh.' But I wonder what he was thinking deeply about always entering the void. Shrugging it off, I walked up to him and tapped his shoulders, causing him to flinch and snap back to reality. "Yo."

"Yo." He replied in his monotonous tone, returning to his laptop.

"Not going to take a shower?" I asked, leaning over his shoulder to see what he was doing... "Holy fuck! What is that?!" Whatever he was writing on his computer screen looked like pure gibberish. I think he is just slamming his keyboard randomly to create whatever organized abomination I was looking at.

"I will take a shower later." He replied to my first question before grinning. "And this is the programming language known as Shadowrun. Something you would never learn even though you study it your entire life."

Damn. "Didn't have to say that." I know he didn't mean any harm, but shit. The way he flaunts his intelligence really makes me feel stupid. And that hurts. "So you are working on the Ai?"

"No. This is the Blank Canvas of the ShadowrunOS operating system." he paused, glancing back at me and staring right into my eyes through the bangs that covered her eyes. "I won't bother explaining it to you since it would just waste both our time."

Damn. "I understand." I really need to learn more about computer science now that we have money, so I would stop feeling like this.

I sat on the chair beside him, leaning back and staring up at the high ceiling. The room fell silent, with only the sound of Solomon quickly typing on the keyboard echoing through the room. We sat in silence for a while, and I noticed something.

Solomon's way of typing was quite eccentric. He typed with force and speed as if the keys were fighting against him. But strangely, sometimes his tying speed would suddenly skyrocket while becoming smooth and calming.

I glanced at him, noticing his eyes fixated on the screen. 'He hasn't blinked for more than a minute.' As if he read my mind, he blinked and turned to me.

"What?" He asked, returning his attention to his laptop.

"You should stop staring at the screen that hard." I replied, looking at the laptop screen. "You will damage your eyes, and then you will need glasses in the future."

"That is a myth." He replied, shrugging. "In my past life, I had been staring at the screen since I was five, and I never needed glasses. I even had better eyesight than most."

"Well, this is a different body with different genetics." I pointed out, stretching. "Staring at a screen might damage your current eyes more than your old body."

He nodded, agreeing with my statement, which made me feel a bit proud. "I will deal with it when the time comes."

Eh, who cares. He can do whatever he wants. Won't be me that will be going blind. "That reminds me." I said, looking at him up and down. "You are now technically a female, so should I call you she?"

He stopped typing for a few seconds, giving me a sidelong glance. "Do whatever you want." He replied before returning to typing.

I pity him. I knew he was angry once he heard someone could kidnap and sell him at the black market at any time because he was a 'worthless' child in the slum. That was the angriest I have seen him.

'At least now I know he reacts aggressively to anger.' That will help me when his 'time of the month' comes about. 'God, that will be bad.' I sighed, pushing the thought out of my mind. We will deal with it when the time comes.

"I will keep calling you he." I decided. I felt more comfortable with that title. "But I want to ask another question." I picked up an empty plate on the dining table and inspected it. The plate alone looked like it would cost thousands of yen. "Do you think it was smart to check into this hotel?"

"You are scared they would do a background check on you?" He asked, saying exactly what was on my mind. "Don't worry. The hotel owner only cares about money. They don't bother doing a background check on you as long as you are not a famous villain and you pay on time."

"Makes sense seeing as this hotel is owned by the current rank nineteen Hero." I nodded, folding my arm. "That guy is known for his lust for money." but. "How do you know this?"

Sometimes, Solomon starts sprouting information he shouldn't know, considering he is from the past and has only been in the present for less than a week. Even during that time, he spent most of it building his laptop, so there was no time to do his research on the world.

It was odd.

Does he have a second quirk that gives him information? That would explain how smart he is.

Before he could say anything, I stood up. "Matter of fact, don't tell me." I rather it stays a mystery. The mystery surrounding him and that 'ability' create a sense of excitement and unpredictability, making him all the more interesting. "I will go to the bar and have a drink, and you should shower now before you stink up this suite."

"Yeah, yeah." Solomon replied, closing his laptop and getting up from his seat. "Also, order some clothes. We can't keep wearing this trash." He added, gesturing to his clothes. "And make sure my clothes are masculine."

"Of course." I nodded as I walked towards the door in the dining area that led to the bar. "And make sure you clean yourself well. The last time you showered was three days ago."

He waved me off as he continued on his way while I entered the bar. It features elegant and comfortable seating, with plush leather bar stools and a sleek counter made of high-quality materials. The interior was dimly lit, with a mix of low lighting and neon signs, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere and the sound system playing soft music in the background.

Behind the main counter was a tall shelf stocked with liquor and a wide selection of premium wines and beers, many that I hadn't even seen or heard of.

Going behind the main counter, I picked a random bottle off the shelf and inspected it. "Burning Spirit Whiskey?" It was a wine in a flaming red bottle with a small logo that reads Endeavor Inc. "Ah, Endeavor. The current ranked two heroes. Of course, he would have his own beer."

That guy is filthy rich, just like all the top ten heroes. They all own large agencies, with some, like Endeavor, owning large businesses, like Endeavor Airlines, Endeavor Fitness, Hellfire Security, Inferno Fashion, and so much more.

I am jealous.

If only I had a quirk.

*Sigh* I opened the whiskey bottle and poured some into the shot glass, and took it down. "FUCK! It burns!" My throat felt like it was on fire as I toppled over, coughing off a fit. Of course, anything with Endeavor's name would be hot. Its name was literally 'Burning Spirit Whiskey.' "FU*COUGH!*"

It took me over thirty minutes to calm down, just when Solomon entered the bar now dressed in a white children's robe with his hair still covering his face. "I guess you like those bangs now?"

"Not really." He replied, walking up to the main counter and climbing up to a stall. "They keep falling forward, and I have no time to fix them in place, so I just let them stay." He glanced at the Burning Spirit Whiskey, holding out his hands. "Pass me some water."

"Oh..." I chuckled. "Thought you were about to ask for the whiskey."

"I am not planning to harm my brain development." He replied, resting his elbow on the table. "I wish there was a time skip button where I can just skip to when I turn 21 when I have a better-developed brain."

"I wish." I agreed, getting a bottle from the fridge beside the shelf of beers and pouring some water into a shot glass for him. Slamming the shot glass on the counter, I grinned. "Let us have a toast."

I poured myself a shot of Burning Spirit Whiskey, raising my shot glass up. "To our future as friends."

Solomon stared at me for what seemed like hours before smiling. Picking up his glass, he raised it up in the air. "To our future as friends." He chanted in a makeshift deep voice.

Bringing my cup down to his level, we clanked it together and then proceeded to chug out the whole shot--

"MY THROAT!"
