36 Chapter 36: A piece of mind

Monday finally came as Izuku took a step inside the bus and walk just around the corner. The door close and the driver steps on the paddle for the bus to move as Izuku found a spot to sit.

People on the bus were just minding their own business. Waiting and trying to arrive at their destination. But they couldn't withdraw their curiosity as they took a glance at the small moving green plushie rabbit starring outside the bus window. 

Usagi has been fascinated by the outside world after her tour to musutafu city yesterday. Thanks to Izuku guiding her she has been to park's, restaurants, drift shops, malls and so much more. She gets to experience what it likes to be outside and even tried some delicious edible food. Overall her short experience in musutafu city made her want to experience the outside more. 

She did ask Izuku if they could have a tour like she has experience again but Izuku responded that he has school tomorrow. So being a little stubborn for wanting to experience the refreshing feeling of freedom she decided to ask again if she could come with him in UA in which Izuku agree's.

Dogday did fill her up more about her whole sudden summoning to a different world situation back at the apartment. Giving her some basic knowledge about this universe. 

Usagi was a bit disbelief about the whole thing but quickly accepted it since she couldn't exactly do anything. She was a bit curious about the superhero part of this universe as seeing that this place was like one of those superhero comics she often read when she was a kid at playtime co made her wanting to see the action that these so called heroe's.

" So where exactly is this superhero school? "

" Oh well it's located a bit further from musutafu but it won't take long for us to get there since transport's are usually the fastest way to go to UA "

" I see but what type of hero stuff did you guys do in that school? "

" Well not much. Most of what we do is pretty much just like any regular highschool except our occasional hero training "

He said to Usagi as their conversation kept being consistent for about a minute. The moving sights of musutafu linger on Usagi's eyes as she moved a bit further away from a city and towards a road that has a vague a large building at a distance. 

Izuku then stop's the driver as he walks towards the driver. Paying him before jumping off the bus.

" Step "

" Shaft! "

" Vroom.... "

" .... So is that UA? "

Usagi ask Izuku as she stare at the building of UA just a few feet away. Izuku confirms Usagi as he made a little introduction to his school after walking towards the building. He could have stayed at the bus but he wanted Usagi to experience the wonderful day outside. 

Izuku notice her agitation when he saw Usagi looking at the bus window so he thought that a simple walk would help her further enjoy her experience journey to UA. He walked just a couple of walk's away as he was getting close to UA until he notice a crowd surrounding UA's gate's.

Upon further inspection's he soon notice that it's a large crowd of reporters. Obsessively curious one's as they tried to get in to UA. 

The reporters are already informed that Allmight will be teaching in UA as well as the Bakugo trial accident all relating in this school. These reporters just wanted to ask and squeeze as much answers and information as they can out of the teachers staff so that they could have the best pay out of these stories alone.

" Uh.... Is this normal? "

" N-not really "

" Okay then how are we supposed to get in? These people look like they could eat us alive. "

Usagi said as she look at the overly persistent and greedy crowd of reporters and knows that it would be complicated if they suddenly walk in and tried to enter UA. Izuku picked up on Usagi's suggestion as he was about to ask Catnap in his bag until he notice a tail suddenly opening his bag and extended towards UA's wall.

" C-Catnap!? "

" Don't worry I got you. "

Catnap replied inside Izuku's bag as he lift Izuku off the ground in order for him to move pass the gate. Izuku landed without much trouble whole Catnap retreat his tail back to him. 

" Well that's new. "

" Eh I learned few tricks when I'm here "

" Well good for you. "

Usagi said sarcasticly at Catnap before turning her gaze at the school. Catnap got annoyed q bit since he could tell that she was sarcastic but nonetheless he let it slide. 

Izuku couldn't help but to feel happy for the two of them since he thought that their finally getting along. But Izuku's happiness immidiately went off the drain when he notice Aizawa sensie starring at him UA's entrance. 

" Well it's nice to see you Midoria. "

" A-Aizawa sensie!? "

Aizawa didn't further speak to Izuku as he just pointed him back to UA as he was too tired to even talk to him. Izuku out of respect apologize's to Aizawa one last time before emberrasingly walk pass him where Aizawa caught a glimpse of Usagi on Izuku's hand.

He wasn't that surprise to see Izuku brought a small green rabbit plushie to UA since he could tell it has something to do to with Izuku's quirk. 

Izuku's quirk alluded him since after he got the information that Izuku manage to revive himself using Dogday unconsciously made Aizawa believes that info that Izuku pass through his application was incomplete. Whether Izuku hides more about his quirk intentionally or it is simply an accident that Izuku himself didn't know Aizawa decided to put that aside as he'll figure it out as time pass. But his thoughts of Izuku's quirk quickly fade as he hears constant shouts coming outside UA's gate. 

Aizawa's headache got even more worse as he frustratingly walk towards the gate and opens it. 

Wanting to deal with these annoying reporters once and for all.

....

( Class-1A )

Once he finally entered UA he walks towards his class and arrives. Taking a step inside as he see's everyone seem to be back to normal. It wasn't like this back when Bakugo was under house arrest as everyone were all silent and complete utter shock. 

But thanks to their teachers comforting them and even thanks to time they manage to get over with the whole Bakugo situation and we're back to their normal selves. 

Izuku couldn't help but to feel relieved seeing that his classmates were all back at high spirits as he turns his desk. He eventually arrives as he sit on his seat and open his bag for Catnap and Dogday to finally get some air.

Usagi just look at Dogday and didn't bother to look at Catnap before switching her gaze to the teenagers infront of her. She then look up at Izuku on his lap and ask.

" So these people have powers? "

" Uh yeah all of us here in UA all have quirks since we all wanted to be heroes "

" Okay so when do all do your superhero thing. Do you get to be sidekicks for superheroes while in school or do the superheroes teach you about superheroing "

" Um well first sidekick and heroe's are two different things and we aren't allowed yet to be sidekicks or even being heroes and second of all yes! We have hero teachers teaching us how to he a hero! Heck we even have Allmight as a teacher!! "

" Allmight? I'm guessing that's some top hero or something? "

" Hey Izuku it's go- GASP!!! "

Ochaco who was planning to talk to Izuku notice Usagi on his lap as she gasp in surprise as she runs towards them in a blink of an eye causing the two be surprise. 

" Oh my gosh Izuku is this your new quirk!!! "

" Um y-yeah she just arrive and wanted to see UA in her own eyes so I wanted to show her around "

" I see! Well welcome to UA my name's Ochaco Uraraka Izuku's friend what's yours!? "

" Um it's uh.... Usagi "

Ochaco's brightened eye's light up of how cute Usagi's name is as she continue to say.

" Usagi that's very cute!! Izuku why didn't you text me about her!? "

" Well I didn't actually get your number and Usagi just arrive so I didn't actually thought of texting everyone in class "

" Shoot. Izuku wait a second "

Ochaco said as she left the two and arrive towards her seat. She immidiately took her phone and walk towards Izuku. Arriving and showing her number while she said.

" If you are summoning these cute little plushies please send me the picture! I wanted to see them first!! "

" Uh I don't know "

Izuku diverted his eye's towards Catnap and Dogday as he wanted for him to get an answer since this was his first time he ever got a girls number. Catnap and Dogday look at each as the two can already tell what they are going to answer. They then turn their heads towards Izuku and gave him a thumbs up telling him to agree.

Izuku took their gestures and look at Ochaco's excited gaze and said.

" Um sure just let me get my phone "

" YES!!! "

The two exchange phone numbers causing Catnap and Dogday to look at them with a smirk. Usagi didn't do anything as she just turn her gaze at the students since she isn't thatuch interested to the situation that was happening. 

Once their done exchanging phone numbers Ochaco then ask Izuku.

" So when did you summon Usagi-chan? "

" Last Saturday. I thought about the match with Bakugo and felt like I needed some improvement with myself so I thought of using my quirk to see if I improve but it seems like I'm sorta stuck at the beginning "

" What do you mean? "

Izuku couldn't answer as he looks at his hand remembering the feeling he gets after activating his quirk. It felt like the amount of stamina and mental fortitude of his quirks limitation increase.

He remembered yesterday that he tried activating his quirk again but it became much harder for him to form a connection to the string that leads him to that tunnel.

Not to mention the dream he got during his unconscious state while he used his quirk. What was that dream? Is it just one of the limitations of his quirk or is it something much more. He couldn't get the answers as he turn to Ochaco and said.

" Well.... When I was using my quirk it felt like it's limitations just increase. It was more difficult to activate my quirk again after I summoned Usagi "

" You sure? Then it must be difficult for you- "

" Yawn! Good morning class..... "

Ochaco got interrupted by Aizawa's voice as all of class-1A turn their heads towards him as he walks infront of the class. Aizawa's eye bags are visibly more darker than before as he struggle to open them for just a second but manage to stay firm on his ground.

He made another yawn and look at the entire class before saying.

" It's good that everyone's in good shape. For those who wanted to know about Bakugo's situation his fine. His trial is rumoured to be set for about two weeks though to some decisions in the Hero public safety commission. Though I need to remind you that those are all rumours. UA has no information if this rumour is true so we'll- Yawn!! Have to wait..... "

Most of class-1A doesn't know how to feel about this situation. On the other hand they are glad that Bakugo might be able to return to UA since only a little few of them care about him while on the other hand they couldn't hold their anger and dissatisfaction to Bakugo's action back at their hero training. Making Bakugo a weird topic for them to discuss.

Aizawa suspected their silence as he moves on to the other new's. 

" Okay setting aside Bakugo's situation it's time for you all to decide your representative. This class needs a dependable and capable representative for the other section to know just how strong class-1A is. As for which representative you all choose it doesn't matter to me. Just make sure you all decide a good one and I'll finally leave. "

Aizawa said ending his announcement as the whole class abrupted in cheers. They were excited for this new's since it might be a chance for them to lead class-1A. Aizawa didn't care for their excitement as he moves to a corner and place his sleeping bag on the ground after getting in to get some sleep. 

Most of the class was weirded out by Aizawa's sudden action but they immidiately ignored it as a few of them tried their best to promote themselves to be the representative. 

" You heared Aizawa! Only a real man can lead this class so the obvious choose is me! "

" Pfft! A man!? Please you look like an average dumb joe. It's obviously going to be me since I have the charms to be this class face! "

" Ah~ mia moir~ this class isn't ready to gaze at my remarkable elegance. Oh but if you so wish to vote for me I wouldn't stop you all since I am simply to perfect and irresistible~ "

" Yeah yeah we get it. Your elegant and perfect you said that like fifteen times already "

" EVERYONE PLEASE TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY!! Aizawa-sensie intrusted us to vote for a capable representative so we must choose correctly of who would lead this class! "

Tenya shouted with a voice of reason and authority. Clearing the whole class selfish self promotion. Momo agrees with Tenya's statement as she herself followed up his words and said.

" Tenya's right. Let's all settle this vote fairly and just that way we can improve our image to the other class. "

" SEE!!! Even momo gets it. With Aizawa asleep it's up to us to make this vote the most fair and just for our goals to become a hero. Now let's all settle down and start our vote "

Everyone from class-1A agree's from Tenya's statement as both Tenya and Momo instructed most of them to put the names of those they want to vote on a small sheet of paper and fold them to be put on a box.

Momo immidiately creates a box through her skin Instantly and puts it on the desk. Causing everyone to begin taking a piece of paper and pen from their bags and begin voting. Of course though to their selfish reason to be on top most of them vote for themselves as the representative. Only leaving a few individuals from the class to vote on someone else that they think as a good representative.

Izuku puts Usagi on his desk before focusing on the blank piece of paper. Izuku think's of each of his classmates. What they can do and even their personalities as he himself didn't think that he could be the class representative. 

His thoughts eventually went to Tenya as he saw just how much of a good and capable leader he is. Along with his engine quirk combine he is a good representative in Izuku's mind. He immidiately write his name.

Usagi didn't help as she just boredly watch the whole ordeal as she suspected some action to the young heroes in training. Catnap just took a nap on Izuku's bag while Dogday climb up to Izuku's chair and whispered.

" Did you already voted? "

" Yup I thought of Tenya as a good leader so I'm going to vote for him "

" Tenya huh? Good choice he seems like the type that would correct you when you do some dumb stuff " 

Dogday whispered as his remarks before sitting next to him for a while. Izuku stood up in order to put his vote to the box as more students followed after him. It took a couple of minutes for all of them to put their votes until four students where the last ones.

The six of them calculate the results of the votes as it took another couple of minutes until they finally calculated the highest scoring students.

A teenage girl with earphone jack's on her ear lobes then wrote the votes and announced to the entire class about the two highest candidates.

" Well looks like we have a tie here. The student who has exactly two votes from the class goes to Tenya and Momo "

She said casually as the two stood up infront of the entire for them to see. Tenya couldn't help but to feel honored as Momo was just standing their who didn't feel much about the results. 

Because it was a tie the whole class discuss of a tie breaker but as soon as they brainstorm of a tie breaker the bell suddenly rang causing the class to look outside with a bit dissapointment.

" Sigh damn lunch break already? "

" But it just felt like a minute? "

It was a little frustrating for the entire class but nonetheless they decided to postpone the tie breaker and decided to have lunch. Most students walk out of class to go to the cafeteria as Izuku put Dogday back to his bag and Usagi to his shoulder. Ready for him to show her around the cafeteria.

Ochaco join's them of course and even surprisingly Tenya. 

" Tenya you wanted to join? "

" Yes though I've been wanting to get this chance to congratulate you for your quick recovery. I didn't know that your quirk could revive you from the dead "

" Uh could we not talk about that please "

" Oh my apologies Izuku sorry that I suddenly brought that up but still. Catnap who not only has the ability to extend his tail but create a red smoke that covers vision and Dogday who could regenerate and revive someone from death. Your quirk seems to be more versatile than anything I ever see "

Tenya complimented as the trio walk's towards the cafeteria. Usagi was a bit confused by what Tenya said since she wasn't there when the whole Bakugo accident occurs. She decided to continue listening since she's a bit curious at what happened to Izuku before he summon her. 

She eventually manage to set the pieces together as the way Tenya explains Izuku's death and revival was clear and very easy to caught on. She didn't even notice that they have arrive at UA's cafeteria as the crowd of student's sitting and walking towards their seats where an obvious sight for her to notice.

The trio grab each grab a trail and begin choosing a few cafeteria food for them to eat. They manage to find a decent spot at the cafeteria and begin to continue their conversation.

Izuku left some food for Catnap, Dogday and Usagi to eat since he bought extra for them.

It was a pretty normal highschool lunch for the group since the peaceful atmosphere and good food was a common luxury for them but for Usagi who spends all of her remaining life eating nothing but rashen food and corpse's of the dead workers all in complete utter darkness of playtime co was like a dream come true for her. 

While Usagi enjoy's her lunch the trio switch on Tenya's background as the brother of the turbo hero Ingenium. Because of his brothers fame Ochaco was curious and even a bit jealous of Tenya. 

Because Tenya is somewhat rich though to his brother being a hero. Ochaco's determination of staying this carrier path strengthen as she hear's more about Tenya's lifestyle.

She wanted to help her family financially since her family is struggling to maintain their home income. So seeing her confirmation that hero work being's a lot of money her determination grow as she'll make sure to graduate to becoming a hero fast.

Several minutes went by as the trio were about to walk back to class until a sudden load alarm booms throughout UA. At first most of them didn't know but when the sound kept getting more louder and alarming all of them immidiately recognize it was UA's security system. 

" Wait this alarm. DID SOMEONE MANAGE TO GET IN TO UA!? "

" SHIT SHIT SHIT THIS IS FREAKING ME OUT MAN!!! "

" This is bad what if a villain manage to sneak in UA. "

Though to the students panic all of them evacuated to the mess hall at once. But though do their fear and sheet numbers it created a traffic jam in the outside hallway. The trio were obviously worried about the whole ordeal until Tenya notices a regular guy with a camera trying to hide by the bushes.

Their he remembered the sudden increase of reporters outside of UA's gate as he realize that the one who caused the security system to pick up an intruder was the media.

" Izuku, Uraraka the alarm it was a false alarm! "

" False alarm what do you mean? "

" Some guy over their just run and hid in the bushes. He has camera so this means his probably a reporter from the outside "

" But didn't the teachers deal with them already? "

" I don't know but their might be more reporters on the loose "

Tenya said while the large crowd of student's kept kept getting more and more chaotic causing Tenya to notice as he looks at Izuku and Ochaco and said.

" We need calm them down immidiately before this goes out of hand. "

Usagi, Dogday and Catnap were obviously affected by the sound of the large chaotic crowd as Catnap pop his head out of Izuku's back and look at the large traffic jam with complete annoyance.

" Catnap could you help us out here? "

" Huh uh sure. What do you need? "

" We need Tenya to be able to arrive at the exit could you do it? "

" Izuku do I look like I can't do it? "

Catnap said as he felt attack that Izuku doubted him for a second. But nonetheless he still help him as he extended his tail and wrap's it around Tenya's waist before slinging him pass the crowd. 

Students notice a fast long purple tail moving a Tenya towards the exit as he landed on top of the exit door. Everyone's attention were all diverted to him as he use this opportunity to shout at the crowd.

" Stop it was a false alarm!! It was just a the pres who infiltrated as I saw some of them outside of UA grounds. So please calm down it's nothing to worry about since the teachers will take care of them! "

Every word from Tenya's mouth made all of them calm down. Some even looking outside to see a bit of a glimpse of a reporter before it's figure dissapears. This was an enough evidence for them to believe Tenya as the whole crowd immidiately disperse. All feeling a bit emberrased and even frustrated at the pres for making them worry.

Tenya seeing the whole crowd disperse couldn't help but to show his relieve as he looks at Izuku at the distance and shouted.

" Um Y-you can put me down now! "

" Okay "

Catnap let go of Tenya causing him to fall increadibly fast to the ground. Izuku and Ochaco were surprise as they were about to save Tenya until Catnap's tail immidiately wrap's around Tenya's waist again. Tenya was just a few inches off the ground as he was one way to be considered a human pancake. Catnap smiled and chuckled at Tenya's scared traumatized expression causing Dogday to smack him in the head.

" SMACK!!! "

" AGH!!! WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT FOR!!? "

" YOU ALMOST DROP SOMEONE TO DEATH!! WHAT DO YOU EXPECT ME TO DO NOW PUT HIM DOWN!! "

" Tsk your not my dad Dogday "

" Catnap please listen to him. Your not a child "

Catnap was a little frustrated to Dogday and even a little to Izuku since Izuku didn't believe his ability to move Tenya towards the exit fast. He eventually got Tenya down slowly as he landed on the ground softly.

Tenya was still shaking from the fear and shock as Izuku and Ochaco run towards him.

" Lida are you okay!? "

" Ah y-yeah but you shouldn't do that to other people Catnap!! Someone might die!!! "

" Eh you didn't die so might is probably the wrong word "

" Catnap! "

" Catnap!! "

" Alright alright I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I almost drop you to dead Tenya will you forgive me? "

Tenya look at Catnap a bit as he accepted his apology. He got up and did said him again to not drop people suddenly. Even though it was just a stupid joke for Catnap he did felt kinda bad since Izuku yelled at him.

They manage to arrive into class as the chao's and traffic from the crowd of student's were still left in their heads. But it didn't stop them to continue coming up with a tie breaker as the whole class discuss for a few minutes until they settled with the good old fashion rock paper scissors.

Once their tie breaker is set the two face each other and hide their hand until the sound of the chant Rock, Paper, Scissors cause them to pull out what's in their hand.

Tenya pulls out a rock while Momo pull out paper automatically turning Momo into the class representative. The whole class cheers as the ear phone jack teenager announce.

" And the winner is Momo! It settles it then Momo will be our class representative and Tenya will be the vice representative! "

" Yeah you go Momo!! "

" Sorry Tenya guess it isn't your luck "

" Boo rematch!! "

Tenya couldn't hide his tear's since he really wanted to be the representative. But game is game as he congratulated Momo instead. The whole class celebrated and cheered the class representative and the vice representative as the atmosphere of the class was more light hearted.

Usagi who experience half a day in UA couldn't hide her dissapointment. She thought that there's going to be more action in this hero school than she can take credit for but instead gave her a normal highschool experience. 

She didn't hate however since she gets to eat delicious food and see some new sights. Though the trip wasn't perfect she does decided to keep coming to this school with Izuku. Since she does still contain hope that she could see a lot of action from these heroes in training.
