23 Chapter 23: UA Entrance Exam's

Catnap and Dogday couldn't even blink once they saw the unbelievable size of the auditorium. It's almost hundreds of kilometers long in there eye's as hundreds of teenager's who took there seat felt like an never ending ocean. 

The two were just as speechless as Izuku who felt claustrophobic by the sheer number of people. He couldn't help but to mutter to himself quietly as he felt an overwhelming pressure in his body.

" Damn I can't believe teenager's are all planning to go in this school. Heck this looks like a whole nation. "

" Yeah.... I guess being a hero is this type of a big deal. Izuku you sure you can handle this um crowd? "

" U-um y-yeah a-all good! "

Izuku said as he raise his thumb trying to hide his claustrophobia from the so little space he gets. Dogday and Catnap wanted to suggest Izuku to find a better seat but considering how packed this huge auditorium is they know it isn't an option. 

The two look each other and sighed as they decided to wait this one out. Catnap went back to Izuku's bag while Dogday was on watch just incase if he needed to call Catnap for something.

The crowd kept increasing minute by minute making Izuku anxious as he begins to think how difficult the entrance exam would be. He even start doubting himself if those months of studying would be enough or if he could handle this with Catnap and Dogday.

Dogday on the other hand didn't mind the crowd but he still felt a little nervous for Izuku failing. All he could do for now is to hope for the best and do his part.

Once the crowds increasing numbers slowly decline as a couple minutes of waiting past a voice Boom's throughout the auditorium. All of the participants attention emmidiently went down at a certain tall slim figure with a straight up spiky blonde hair. With a black jacket that has a very tall collar, matching black pants, knee-high boots and a very wide smile.

His sudden appearance cause some participants including Izuku to recognize the voice hero Present mic. Present mic starring at the huge number of participants emmidiently open's his mouth spreading across the vast distance of the Auditorium.

" WHAT'S UP UA CANDIDATE'S!! THANKS FOR TURNING INTO ME NOW LET ME HEAR YA'LL!!! "

" ..... "

No one made a sound.

" What no excitement? That's fine I'll skip straight to the main show! Let's talk about how the main entrance exam's going down now ARE YOU READY!!! "

Present mic shouted his heart out as his voice kept vibrating through out the whole auditorium. Of course the participants were whispering to each other wondering what will be in the entrance exam. Catnap who just woke up still tired thanks to Present mic's voice look around him in confusion as he ask Dogday.

" Mmm.... so is the exam thing started yet? "

" Yup some guy just informed these people that it was about to start "

" Ugh and I was almost deep asleep.... Sigh welp since I'm awake might as well join you "

" Sshhh will you two keep your voices down I'm trying to listen and Oh Catnap will you move a bit on the side "

Izuku whispered as he was about to put his bag to the front and reach out his notebook until Catnap just voluntarily use his tail to to do it for him. 

While Izuku was preparing his pen and notebook Present mic has started telling them the ropes of the entrance exam. From the written exam to the practical exam as he starts explaining about pointers. Izuku stayed focus constantly writing down everything he needs to memorize while whispering himself like a madman. 

Dogdag and Catnap couldn't take Izuku's constant mutter's of headache with a straight face since they are already prepared for this to happen.

" Pst! Izuku could you um keep it down? People can hear you "

" Huh hear me? "

Dogday pointed out a couple of people who are near them as they look at there way with a bit of annoyance as Izuku couldn't help but to be emberassed as he hide his face on his book and whispered much more quietly to himself.

Though Dogday felt a bit bad that he has to tell him this it's really necessary since he himself just couldn't take Izuku's brain piercing mutter's.

' It's for the best for my ears to rest. Sorry Izuku. '

Now Izuku being a little quiet. Present mic kept explaining the ropes one last time before ending as he tells them the way for the written exam. All the participants emmidiently head out towards the written exam as Izuku stand up and followed.

Catnap and Dogday kept observing there surrounding's like a hawk as Izuku walk towards the written exam's. Eventually they manage to arrive as Izuku took a seat and waited for the one exacuting the written exam to come over.

Someone eventually did as he pass out the exam papers to each participants as Izuku took his as he put down his bag and reach out a pen in order to start the exam. 

Dogday seeing Izuku focus on his exam papers couldn't help but to look at him with a tired face as he knows that he'll have to wait again.

" Yawn you know what Catnap. How about you'd be guarding Izuku for a while will that be okay? "

" Eh sure I mean I'm suck of sleeping in the bag so I guess I'll take your shift "

" Great now wake me up once were at the practical exam's "

Dogday said while he slip's himself inside Izuku's bag. Catnap stared at Dogday with a smirk before switching his gaze at Izuku's focus gaze ar his exam papers. He couldn't help but to raise his eyebrow at how hardworking he is as Catnap just stared at him for a while with some level of impress.

This impression lasted for a couple of minutes as he switch his gaze throughout the participants. Catnap has been eyeing them with some level of animosity as he can tell they are Izuku's opponents. 

He knows how it meant for Izuku to get in UA very bad so in order for Izuku to succeed Catnap must make sure that no one will standing at Izuku's way. No matter what it takes.

His tail move's twisting in an unatural way as Catnap couldn't wait to unleash his fury to those stepping stones that got in the way of Izuku's dream. 

' Be patient it's not time yet.... Be patient.... '

People who are minding there own business trying to solve the exam notice a strange feeling as if a knife was pointed on there back. Some look around just to see what that feeling was but they found nothing.

Well nothing except for cemented wall's covering all of them.

" Woosh!!! "

" What!? "

" The hell is happening!? "

Most participants notice the sudden cemented wall covering a few participants but didn't took another glance as they focus entirely at there exam papers. The one overseeing the written exam Cementoss kept an eye on the participants just in case if they tried to cheat.

Cementoss eyes look at the entire participants before looking at a certain green haired teens bag. Cementoss did notice Catnap and Dogday in Izuku's bag as he was initially planning to block there view but after observing them for a few minutes he can tell that Izuku wasn't using his quirk to cheat since he was fully informed about most participants who partake the entrance exam.

' A kid that create's life out of toys. What a rare quirk '

He thought before switching his gaze to another cheater who's been extending and moving his hand who has a small eyeball on its finger towards another participants exam papers.

" Woosh!!! "

" Thud!! "

" What the!? Damn it!! "

" You got fifteen minutes left. "

Cementoss tell's the whole participants as most of they begin to show some sense of nervousness. Minutes passed one after another as Cementoss stared at the clock behind them. 

The hands move slowly at there deadline as his eyes fixated by the fast movement of seconds. With just one last pass from the second arrow the large arrow finally move causing Cementoss to stand up and leave his desk as he said.

" Okay times up pass your paper's "

Most of the participants look at Cementoss as only a little few of them has not finished the exam. Cementoss instructed that they pass there exam's upfront so that they can move to the next exam. 

Izuku who just finished a couple of seconds ago took a big sigh of relief as he leaves his sit while carrying his bag. He place his exam papers to Cementoss desk just like many of the people near him as he leaves alongside Catnap and Dogday.

( At the practical exam sight )

" Phew are you sure you guys are okay with this? "

Izuku ask as he looks at Catnap and Dogday below his vest. His vest was somewhat decent looking with stitched pockets that could fit the size of plushie's. Izuku did spent half a month designing this vest as it did gave him better mobility as well as a comfortable place for Catnap and Dogday to lay and slip out of than his old school bag.

Izuku took a phew breathes as he stretch his arms and legs while walking a few feet towards a large gate. Participants are surrounding near the gate with there makeshift costumes and spacial gear as Izuku couldn't help but to feel like his are pretty plain in comparison.

But none the less he did tell himself to not care what other people think as his now more focus on the large gate infront of him. The pressure within him grew further as he himself couldn't lie to himself that he is pretty scared.

Present mic just at the top of the wall that enclose the practical exam walk casually on the wall as he shouted booming his voice throughout the whole participants.

" OKAY CANDIDATES!! ARE. YOU. REEEAAADY!!! "

The sound of a digital clock spread down the gates as with each tic cause everyone to get ready. The time slowly went up to small digits until it reaches to the digit four.

With the numbers close Present mic made sure to add further intensity as he shouted again.

" 3....2....1! LET'S GOOOO!!! "

Soon the gates open as Izuku's eyes shown great determination as he lift his feet.
