17 Chapter 17: Time skip

Catnap look at the window. The cloudy blue sky and the touch of sunlight made him lost in thought as he enjoys the quiet time he has.

Dogday who siy right beside him glance at Catnap for a second before he ask.

" What's on mind? "

Catnap remained silent as he was thinking of what to say. Just a few words just couldn't describe his thoughts but he still decided to tell Dogday since they've been together in this universe the longest.

" Nothing it's just.... I can't believe it. We're finally free after years in that facility.... It feels like it's been yesterday since Izuku brought us in this universe "

Dogday couldn't help but to be silent as he reminiscent about how he came in Izuku's life. 

He manage to learn a lot of Izuku's universe as it's a place were people get to be born with superpowers and use them that would define there lives like becoming a hero, villain or vigilante. 

Izuku was one of those people gifted with superpowers called quirks. With the quirk to summon and revive them from there universe It felt like it was destiny that wanted to give Dogday and Catnap a chance to re-live a new life. 

His days with Izuku were long and filled with good memories like he never experience before. Izuku felt more like a son to him as he was such a generous and understanding kid. Inko was good also a friend to talk to since she's supportive, caring and mature.

Although Inko can be a little emotional she can manage to know how to handle her self. Now that she realize after a few years that her husband was never coming back Dogday, Catnap and Izuku manage to cheer her up so she wouldn't be depressed. She was now happy afterwards and did her best to work her way so that she would be able to financially support her family now that her husband isn't financially supporting them anymore.( A.K.A Inko is no longer plus size in this AU since the reason she's fat is because she felt sorry for herself that she couldn't give Izuku a quirk. Though she still has some fat in her it isn't that much ).

These two were the kindest people Dogday has ever met as he himself wouldn't have this carefree life without them. Though he isn't in his original body he couldn't complain anyway other way.

Dogday patted Catnap shoulder where Catnap's train of thought was broken as he turn at Dogday. Dogday smiled as he pointed at the sleeping Izuku and tell's him.

" It's your turn to wake him "

" Eh I've woke him up like last week ago. I thought that it's your turn"

" Don't give me that look you didn't take your turn for two week. Atleast do this for me so that it would be fair "

Dogday said to Catnap reminding about the past weeks that he didn't take his turn. Catnap look at Dogday as he tried to find any reasons for him to dodge waking Izuku up but upon looking outside the window seeing that it's almost noon he relunctantly stood up and stretch his little plushie arms before jumping down from the bed.

Dogday followed behind as they walk towards Izuku's desk and look at his phone. Catnap extended his tail letting it move up to his desk before grabbing Izuku's phone. 

He retracted his tail as Catnap unlock Izuku's phone and increase the volume of Izuku's alarm before Catnap click the button.

" Beep! Beep! Beep! "

" !? "

Izuku wakes up with pieces of paper attached to his cheeks. His green messy hair has become even more of a mess as he scratch his head out of trying to shake out his tiredness. 

" Uh.... What time is it? "

" Oh nine. You still haven't finish studying? "

" Eh sorry Catnap but yeah. I really need to pass this exam since it's almost the end of my school year "

" Well good for you but look at yourself? You barely even eaten breakfast at all? "

" I'll eat once I'm finish with this whole textbook. I'm only nearly finish so I'll be- "

" Again with the excuses. Your mom has been telling you to eat before studying. I'm not taking this your coming with me "

" B-but "

" Catnap's right you know "

Dogday inturrupted as he cross his arms starring at Izuku subtly telling him to follow Catnap. Izuku couldn't help but to shake his head and reluctantly agree as he stood up from his desk and walk towards the door. Catnap and Dogday followed him to the kitchen until he sat and open's the left over breakfast that Inko left before work. 

The three sat down and eat as Dogday look at Catnap as he couldn't help but to give him a thumbs up as he said.

" Nice your really getting good at this "

" Heh of course your not the only one who knows how to play parent "

" Um.... Thanks a lot for caring for me but I can wake by myself up. I'm not a child "

" Then start remembering putting your alarm clock on next time "

Dogday said annoyed that they have to wake him up every weekend's on each exam week's. It's the end of Izuku's school year as Izuku was planning on applying to UA. Sure Dogday would support Izuku for studying diligently but forgetting to eat and sleep is were Dogday draw the line. Izuku couldn't help but to nervously apologize for Dogday and Catnap for using them as some sort of an alarm clock on Izuku's life.

It's been a quiet weekend for the Midoria household yet it's this moment that made Catnap and Dogday appreciated more.

Izuku quickly put all his notebook's in his bag as he tried to be as fast as possible. He checked his phone seeing that it's almost seven as he pack everything up. 

Catnap and Dogday who was helping Izuku pack jump towards his bag as they zip the bag close. 

With everything in check Izuku put on his bag and rushe's out of his room. Inko who has now a healthy well fed single mother was cooking for herself before she notice Izuku rushing towards the door as she shout at him. Causing Izuku to stop mid way as Inko grab's a launch box beside her.

" Izuku your lunch! "

" Huh oh right? Catnap! "

Izuku's bag unzip itself as a tail came out from the bag and rushe's toward Inko. It wraps itself around the launch box on Inko's hand before the tail retracted back inside the bag along with the box.

" Thanks Catnap! I'm off! "

" Slam! "

" Sigh kids are still kids "

Inko said to herself as she look at the closed door where Izuku left off before going back to cooking. 

Izuku run down the apartment building until he finally got out. 

He ran through the suburbs as Izuku took short cuts and routes that could get him to school quicker. Catnap and Dogday who are inside Izuku's bag check on the time on his phone.

Dogday suggested that Catnap should show Izuku the time so that he would run faster. Catnap couldn't help but to hide a grin as he use's his tail to open the back and move Izuku's phone near him.

Izuku was running out of breathe as he was getting slow until a his phone pop's out of his bag and saw that it's 6:48.

This motivated him to go faster as he couldn't miss his final exam. It took him only a couple miles of running, alot of turn's from routes and even Catnap's occasionally help until he finally arrive at school. There aren't any students walking around in school anymore since classes is about to start. He past the school gates and ran through the hall's as he looks at the signs on each classroom hoping to find his.

Izuku eventually spot his class as he sprint's towards the open door. He saw that there doesn't seems to be a teacher in sight in his class which he was relieved until he could hear footsteps coming from the other end of the hall.

He didn't hesitate as he run as fast as he can changing in class and slide to his seat before putting down his bag beside sit.

" Bump! "

" Agh! watch it! "

" Oh s-sorry "

" Never mind that just sit! "

Footsteps were getting closer as Izuku emmidiently sit down. Soon the teacher finally came in class with a test paper's in his hands. The rest of the class emmidiently went silent as by the time there teacher walk's in towards his desk the teacher begin's to say a few final remarks.

" Ehem Okay you all know that today is your final exam so don't take this exam lightly. This will determine's your future application and whether or not you'll be accepted to high academical school's. I hope that whatever score you get you all would somehow succeed in your dreams "

He said as he walks to each row of sit's to hand them there exam papers before. Izuku was anxious but none the less determine as the paper's were handed at the back. He readied his pen and grab the exam papers before taking one and passing it at the back.

He was ready to go to UA as his eyes was burning with determination.
