3 In preparation for the sports festival.

One day before the sports festival, the UA Academy building, right inside the director's room.

All the teachers, who were originally professional heroes, were gathering in that room, sitting in a large circle table, and each one of them had some papers in front of him on the table, in addition to a plastic bottle of water. They met to discuss the sports festival program, and indeed this meeting had reached its final stage, as the director said after collecting the papers;

"So, putting all of the above together, we have three main games at the festival. Firstly, Obstacle Race, in which we will try to reduce the huge number of participating students to only 42 students. Secondly, jousting of knights, which is a game whose main goal is to create teams consisting of two to four people. We hope to see in this stage the emergence of understanding teams, so that they can be mutual heroes in the future when they work in the same agency or when an alliance occurs between agencies to stop a particular villain or organization. Then the final stage is the eliminations, 16 people will compete to win the whole festival, this is the best and most enjoyable stage of the festival. Since I will be responsible for the third-year students, I hope that those responsible for the first-year and second-year students will do their best."

These closing words were evidence that the meeting had reached its end, but before the teachers began to stand up from their seats, Teacher Aizawa said;

"There is one more matter I would like to raise before the end of this meeting."

The teachers felt strange in the situation, given that Aizawa is not the type of person who talks in vain, which is why the rest of the teachers remained silent, waiting for him to complete his speech;

"There is a transfer student from Saikono Academy. A week ago, he transferred to the Hero Course and joined Class 1-A, but his entry into the sports festival must be approved by the principal himself and the teachers."

When the rest of the teachers heard this, they were a little surprised, and the person who spoke was the teacher of class 1-B, who objected;

"Huh? This is the first time I've heard of a student transferring to UA Academy! What about the entrance exam? Principal, something like this is supposed to happen only with your permission, how can you accept a student into the Hero course without giving him an exam? That would be bad for the reputation of our academy."

Most of the teachers agreed with him, as they all looked at the principal, waiting for a logical explanation from him.

The Principal remained silent for a few seconds, then answered in a calm tone;

"This was the first time I had received such a request, and I already know the Principal of Saikuno Academy, he is not someone who speaks in jest. He thought that having that boy in Saikuno Academy would just be a waste of his talent, someone like him should go to a better academy, that's wht he contacted me, and I gladly accepted because I know very well that the Principal of that academy will not speak in vain."

The principal's words were unexpected, and the first person to respond was Teacher Yamada, Present Mic Hero, with yellow hair;

"You had to conduct a simple test for him with the presence of one or two teachers to watch him. How would we explain to the media that a new student joined the Hero Course out of nowhere? In the first year, the Hero Course includes only forty seats, and this number of seats is divided into two classes. Thousands of people competed to get one of the forty seats, and this is what the public and the media know. Entering the Hero Course at the UA Academy is not easy at all, and does not happen through "intermediary". Even people who enter upon recommendation are examined and selected. Everyone agreed with Teacher Yamada's words, but the principal smiled and said in a confident tone;

"This is precisely why we have to allow him to participate in the sports festival. The new student, the wronged hero, also deserves to set foot in this place. Fulan Nanaimo is a student who comes from a poor family. The reason that prevented him from coming to take the exam at this academy is the Transportation&Food costs, and nothing else. After a short silence, some of the teachers sighed and began to leave the room, indicating that they would not object to that student's participation in the sports festival.

At the same time, Teacher Aizawa said before leaving the room;

"Thank you."

That word of thanks was addressed to the Principal because he allowed Fulan to participate in the festival, and the Principal responded with a smile;

"Take care of that boy, he might be a famous hero in the future."

Thus, the teachers' meeting ended, and the real preparations for the sports festival that will be held tomorrow began.

Everyone was preparing for the festival in their own way, starting with the work team and teachers who were supervising the preparation of the hall and other procedures, as they had a lot of work ahead of them.

As for the students, they were preparing psychologically and morally, knowing that a busy day awaited them. The sports festival they watch behind the television screen every year, they will now be a part of it, so they all aspire to go beyond their limits and reach the furthest stage possible.

Even the general public was waiting for this festival, as some of them intended to watch the live broadcast on the official UA Academy page on social media, and some of them want to watch it with their family on TV. There is also a type of people who are not content to just watch from behind the screen, more than that, they reserve tickets to get a good seat in the hall to watch.

In the midst of all these preparations, Fulan, the hero of our story, was eating a small bowl of rice while he was sitting at the dinner table with his mother.
