Chapter 2 Meeting Your Idol

Izuku was walking from the school. He decided to take a shortcut through a tunnel. He took a look at his hero analysis book which was nearly singed by Bakugo's explosions. As he walked by he heard a sloshing sound. Izuku turned around and saw a creature made entirely of sludge, with giant eyes and a big mouth.

"Well well well, looks like I got a meat sack to hide in," it said.

Izuku was paralyzed with fear for a minute. He started to run but the sludge villain caught up to him. It grappled him and then started forcing itself into Izuku's body.

"This will only hurt for a little bit, I wanna take control of your body," the villain said, "You won't feel a thing after a few seconds. I need to escape from 'Him'!"

Izuku tried pulling the sludge away but it was no use. It was made of fluid. He started to lose consciousness.

"This can't be the end…." he said trying to pull away.

"Get off of him!" shouted a voice.

It was Yoshito who dashed forward at high speeds towards the villain. He then jumped and pulled Izuku away. Izuku coughed up sludge and got his consciousness back.

"Buddy are you alright?" he asked, to which Izuku nodded.

"Ahh, so you have a speed quirk," the villain said, "Maybe I'll use it instead!"

Suddenly a manhole cover was punched up. They all turned to see All Might in the flesh.

"You two are safe now because I am here," he said.

"Shit…"

"Texas... SMASH!"

The punch was so powerful it turned the monster into tiny bits and pieces. All might quickly scoop them up in a bottle. Izuku and Yoshito were amazed seeing their hero in the flesh. Izuku rushed up to him with Stars in his eyes.

"Sir... it's an honor," he said, "C-c-c-can you sign my notebook?"

"Of course," All Might said as he signed the notebook, "My apologies for getting you mixed up in this."

"No worries sir, you're amazing!" Izuku said, "You're even more muscular in person!"

Yoshito smiled and shook his head.

"Once a fanboy, always a fanboy," he said.

"Well, I wish I could stay, but I have some business to attend elsewhere," All Might said.

Izuku rushed to him.

"Sir wait, I have a question to ask!" Izuku said.

Yoshito grabbed him.

"Look man, I know you're a fanboy but you know pro heroes, they're always busy with stuff," he said.

He opened his eyes and realized he grabbed a bush.

"That son of a bitch." Yoshito said, looking at the reader. "None of you tell Inko I said that!"

All Might was flying in the air and then he heard screaming. He saw Izuku grabbing onto his leg.

"Hey hey, what's this?!" he asked, "I love my fans but this is a bit too much. Could you let go?"

"Wait, if I let go I'll die at this height!" Izuku said.

"Hmmm fair point," All Might said.

Later they landed on a building and Izuku was catching his breath.

"Not a very smart move young man, knock a couple of times, and somebody should let you in."

Izuku bowed in shame of his actions.

"Sorry, All Might... I just had a question for you." Izuku said in an almost dead inside tone, "Could someone without a quirk... ever hope to be a hero as amazing as you?"

All Might turned around hearing those words. He started to have flashbacks of his younger years. Back then, All Might was a child who had a dream of being a hero like his idol Nana Shimura. Even though he was quirkless he still wanted to be a hero. Of course, he was bullied for this. Now that quirks have been increased to 80 percent of the human race, who knows what this kid had to go through! He just couldn't break the poor boy's heart.

"Listen kid I…" he began to say before smoke emerged around him.

The smoke disappeared and Izuku was face to face with a skinny man who looked like he lost a lot of pounds.

"Wait…. Who….. what the hell is…." Izuku said.

"I assure you kid, I am All Might," All Might said.

"All Might! Are you okay?" Izuku asked concerned.

"Yes... young man... please... what... you are about... to see... please keep it... a secret... BLARGH!" All Might said spitting blood out, "My real name is Toshinori Yagi."

He then showed his scar. Yoshito ran up to the building.

"There you are, why would you... AUGH!"

"Young man, I would like to speak with your friend alone if you don't mind," Toshinori asked him.

"I should go…." Yoshito said running.

"Anyway, like I was saying. I got this nasty scar from a villain five years ago. Have you heard of the fight with me against the Chainsaw massacre?" All Might asked.

Izuku nodded.

"Well... yeah, he dealt a nasty blow at me. Half of my respiratory organs are destroyed." All Might said. "In answering your question, I don't want to ruin your dreams kid. I can tell you've been working out. But if we had this conversation 6 years ago, I'd immediately say yes you can. But some villains just can't always be stopped. I don't wish this nasty scar on anyone I even hate! So in answering your question of being a hero quirkless. Not many heard of him, but you kid have you ever heard of the underground hero Eraserhead."

Izuku nodded.

"His quirk allows him to erase quirks, but if that doesn't work, he also knows how to fight in hand to hand combat, so he is as well as a master martial artist. He basically fights quirkless making his opponent do the same. I see that fire in your eyes kid, but if you're taking the entrance exam at UA, I'd get some mettle knuckle dusters."

"You really think so?" Izuku asked.

"Of course kid," All Might said, "This reality is fixated on the fact that you need a quirk to be a hero. But it's not about the flashy quirks and techniques. It's about the heart, and spirit which you have."

Izuku smiled, satisfied with his answer.

"Well, I should head out kid, good luck out there," All Might said.

He started heading to the police station with the villain. However, something was wrong. The villain was gone. Meanwhile, Izumi was searching for her twin looking everywhere. She then saw a bottle land near someone. It was Bakugo. It then started to break. The villain broke out and then started capturing him. Soon people were gathered around seeing the commotion. Bakugo was slowly being taken over by the villainous sludge. Kaumi Woods and Death Arms arrived at the scene

"Shit! Alright, do something about that Sludge! I'm gonna evacuate the citizens!" Kamui Woods said. He entered the now burning building. "Well what are you waiting for?!"

"I... can't." Death Arms said.

"What do you mean you 'can't'?! Gonna wait for some quirkless kid to show you up?!"

Izuku was walking home satisfied with All Might's actions. He was writing down some ideas for enforcers for his arms. What he really wanted to know is how All Might knew he was working out. He started hearing some commotion. He ran up to a crowd of people and saw fire and smoke. Izumi saw him.

"Izuku! There you are! There's been another villain attack from the sludge villain. It apparently escaped All Might!" She said.

"What?!" Izuku asked.

He saw the villain capturing Bakugo. He felt like it was his fault this was happening. He saw the look in Bakugo's eyes and looked like he was pleading for help. Izuku then started dashing towards the sludge villain ignoring all logic.

"Kachan!" Izuku shouted.

He started running to the villain. As soon as he was close, he started ripping the villain off of him in hopes of pulling him out!

"What are you doing Deku! I can get out myself!" Bakugo shouted.

"You looked like you were calling for help. My legs just went on autopilot after that." Izuku said.

A skinny man was watching this and remembered the first time he met his master.

flashback

"You ran into danger without thinking, didn't you," Nana asked.

"Yes... my legs just... moved on its own..." a younger Toshinori said.

"HA HA HA! That's what I've been looking for kid! Let me tell ya something, you definitely got what it takes!" Nana told him.

Toshinori had tears in his eyes hearing these words.

flashback end

"I... can't let... these children... die like this!" All Might said buffing up.

Izuku then pulled Bakugo out. However, the sludge villain spotted them.

"Oh no you don't!" he shouted.

The villain shot tendrils at Izuku hoping to kill him. However, the tendrils never hit. Izuku opened his eyes to see All Might all buffed up and ready for action! He was standing there ready to subdue this evil beast.

"A true hero puts themselves in danger to save everyone n matter what!" All Might shouted, "DETROIT... SMASH!"

All Might then punched the villain in tiny bits. He looked at Izuku who saved the ash blonde.

"Kid, I..." Then the paparazzi came swarming in.

The heroes praised Bakugo for being strong but scolded Izuku for being stupid.

"You idiot!" Death arms said, "What the hell were you thinking?! Going off into danger like that?! You can't be a hero without a quirk so quit dreaming!"

"Hey, like you're one to tell someone not to do anything when you're the one acting like a coward!" Kaumi Woods said, "It may have been dangerous, but at least he was brave enough to at least TRY to help that boy. And what did you do?!"

"My job!" Death arms said, "Which this brat ruined by putting himself in danger! And I'm not saying anything that isn't true. Quirkless people have no place in the world of heroes."

Izuku ran off, having enough of the trash talk. All Might felt sorry for the kid, and he knew he had to do something. But before that, he had to teach the big mouth a lesson. he gave a back slap towards Death Arms head. With this being All Might of all people the back slap pushed him to the ground. Mt Lady laughed at this.

"Finally, somebody to shut him up," she commented
