36 Chapter 34: First Step

For half a millisecond Nezu thought he heard wrong until Whisker's waved her paw at him, it was then the realization set in.

"By any chance are you the tiger that went missing from the zoo?" Nezu's paw trembled when he pointed at Whisker's.

It became the only logical standpoint that made sense from all the possibilities constantly flowing in and out of his mind.

'Yes! Whisker's is tiger!' Whisker's jumped off Shin's lap while transforming mid-air back into a bengal tiger.

"Ha!" Nezu anxiously laughed as his trembling body hopped off the chair in excitement.

"I thought I arrived too late, that one of my own kind was sold as some prized pet to a prince." Nezu's shaky voice resounded as he reached out his paw to which Whisker's reciprocated the gesture as they high pawed.

"You went to retrieve her?" Shin asked curiously as Nezu nodded his head.

"Yes, when I heard there was an animal that could evidently understand and learn like a human I immediately tried to act though the association ignored my requests so I gathered some retired special ops soldiers to infiltrate the zoo and secure her, however once they arrived I had been notified that I was too late." Nezu regained his composure while making his way back onto the chair.

Nezu had a genuine smile gazing at Whisker's rolling around on the carpet until his gaze became serious while slowly turning his head to Shin.

"It now begs the question Shin, how did you manage to obtain Whisker's?" Nezu's eyebrow twitched when mentioning her name.

'He really has a poor naming sense.' Nezu thought to himself.

Shin remained quiet under Nezu's piercing gaze, it wasn't wrong to say that Whisker's instead of becoming a pet to some rich prince became a pet to an orphan.

"I'll be blunt with you Squeaky, one of my associates thought she was interesting and stole her from the zoo while gifting her to me." Shin considered maneuvering around the true purpose of obtaining her, however Nezu wasn't an idiot and it would be better for him to learn the truth now rather than later.

"Though once I learned of Whisker's capabilities and her quirk, I discouraged the idea of owning such a creature and instead I decided to take care of her in order to avoid another scenario where she would become someone's pet." Shin carefully stated his words under a discouraged Nezu.

Upon hearing his words he gazed down at Whisker's who had still been rolling around the carpet this whole time but stopped seeing Nezu's gaze.

"Whisker's is what he said true." Nezu asked her to which she nodded her head.

'Yes, I like here, Whisker's doesn't like cage, Whisker's like freedom and Toga.' Nezu's brows softened upon listening to the response since he too didn't like cages.

"Shin, I'll take your word for it...…..for now, and I admire your truthfulness but now another question remains." Nezu calmly spoke to Shin who nodded his head.

"Do you truly believe you can raise Whisker's?" Nezy crossed his stubby legs while staring Shin dead in the eye.

"Honestly Squeaky, I think Whisker's is safer here than she is with you." Shin spoke his true thoughts greatly surprising Nezu.

"Do tell?"

"Squeaky, you must know this more than anyone but your sudden arrival into the world has brought upon many eyes including unfriendly ones, that constantly hover around you at all times. Watching and observing your every move, even the slightest thing you do nowadays is posted on the internet for all to see." Shin explained from everything he knew right now as Nezu began to show a sad look.

"You only were just recently granted basic rights given to humans at birth, I don't want to be harsh but what would happen if you suddenly took in Whisker's, a tiger, who has a similar ability to you but unlike you, doesn't understand how humans really are, Whisker's is like a toddler just beginning to understand things and right now I think hiding in plain sight is the best and most correct course of action." Nezu deep down knew all of this however it still hurt hearing it out loud.

"Yes you are indeed correct, right now I can barely protect myself let alone having to protect my own kind, it would make things tricky." Nezu dryly chuckled while rubbing his ear.

Nezu gestured to Whiskers who happily strutted over to him, he started to pat her head much to her happiness and after a while he took in a deep sigh.

"Shin you're a smart kid and that's what worries me, the way you word your sentences is unlike any kid I have ever seen. Another thing that worries me is the way you answer your questions, it seems like you give a reasonable answer but truthfully only leaves me with more questions." Nezu stated clearly looking up at Shin with a serious expression.

"I can tell you're not a normal kid, in fact I always knew you weren't normal however in the end you saved me and unlike everyone else who always turned their back when the situation got dire you still decided to help me which is why I will overlook all the discrepancies in your words and actions." Nezu hopped off the chair proning Shin to do the same.

"I do not know what you are doing, however if you ever need something call me, I always repay my debts." Nezu pulled out a card and set it gently in Shin's hand.

"Thanks Squeaky." Shin smiled, making Nezu shake his head with a dry smile.

"Your welcome Shin." Nezu smiled, holding out his hand as Shin reciprocated the gesture.

"You know if you want to come and visit-"

"I'm afraid that my presence will only be a nuisance for this place, I think it would be better to just keep acting as I had previously." Nezu pat Shin's hand showing him an aggrieved smile before turning for the door.

"Nezu do you hate all humans?" Shin suddenly spoke out, causing Nezu to stop in his tracks.

Shin didn't know what kind of animal Nezu would turn into in the future since the reason he even started helping humanity originally was because he believed in All Might but unlike then now it's completely different.

"No, even though humans have made me suffer it does not mean that I blame humans as a whole species." Nezu chuckled while turning his head back to Shin who had a serious face.

"I believe humans can be guided correctly if the world wills it." Nezu gazed up into the air showing a lost expression.

"What would you do if I tried to change the world?" Shin wanted to test the water however Nezu's next words surprised him.

"Then I wish you good luck because if you truly wanted to change this world then you would have to tear it down and rebuild it, however if you're asking if I would stop you then no, I would not." Nezu turned his back before walking out the door leaving Shin alone.

Shin gazed at the door before walking to the window that overlooked the front of the orphanage, only a minute transpired until he saw Nezu walk down the stone path but before he left the gate he turned his head back immediately making eye contact with Shin.

Though all he did was smile and wave at him before entering a black car which drove off moments later until it completely disappeared into the distance.

Gazing at the morning sky he took a deep breath as a gentle smile adorned his face while taking in the morning rays from the sun.

'Today seems like a great day to brainwash people.' Shin's gentle smile illuminated his face contrary to his thoughts.

*BAM*

"Shin!" Toga opened the door while gleefully skipping over to him.

Shin saw Toga suddenly slam open the door resulting in a frown on his face, he had been putting off dealing with her however it seemed he could no longer do that.

She had slowly gotten out of his control, her actions to everyone around her, her temper tantrums when she didn't get any attention from him, but the main thing that overshadowed all of these was she had slowly been challenging Shin's authority which couldn't stand.

"I-what?" Toga couldn't hug Shin as she was suddenly stopped by him.

"No hugs for a week." Shin suddenly spoke out, the words didn't register until a horrified expression appeared on her face.

"Shin, don't joke about that!" Toga's defense mechanism set in as she slowly started to form tears in her eyes knowing it always worked when she showed this expression to Shin.

"Sadly Toga I'm not joking, and you're also banned from sleeping in my bed for a week." His next words made her drop to the floor.

Toga's knees banged against the old floor boards yet she didn't even flinch, his words that were originally just a joke to her had started to slowly sound less and less like one.

"Why~" Toga whined as the tears welled up in the corner of her eyes threatening to fall down her chubby cheeks at any second.

"Because you don't listen to me." Shin smiled, bending down to caress her cheek.

"I'll listen I'll-"

"No you won't, and the fact you're lying to me like this greatly hurts my heart." Toga grabbed Shin's hand in haste at hearing his words while vigorously shaking her head in dismay.

"I didn't mean too-"

"But you did, your selfish desire for my attention has caused you to disregard all my lessons on concealing your knife, making a scene in public, and finally the one that hurts me the most, questioning my love for you." Shin showed a pained look making Toga's heart stop.

The tears in the corner of her eyes slowly descended down her smooth red cheeks signaling the start of a seemingly never ending stream of sadness.

"Shin I love you I-"

"Do you?" Shin had decided to completely control the narrative of the conversation and part of it meant not letting Toga defend herself which seemed cold however her behavior recently had been unacceptable as of late so he needed to correct it before she got out of his control.

"I gave you my heart, however all you do is stomp on it, and I think we need some space right now Toga, watching you constantly rip out the heart out of my chest is poisoning me." Toga tried to reach from Shin though to her shock he avoided her.

'How do people say these corny lines without flinching.' Shin thought, avoiding Toga's efforts to reach for him while hiding the cringing expression threatening to form on his face.

"Shin I'll listen-wait-I-SHIN!" Toga attempts at grabbing Shin were always left in failure until she eventually reached too far causing her to trip over her dress as Shin calmly walked to the door.

*Hic*

"Don't leave me Shin, please!" Toga reached out showing a helpless appearance watching her everything about to leave.

Shin turned around only to see her sad and pitiful appearance resulting in a warm smile forming on his face, deciding to reassure her so she wouldn't do anything too drastic.

"Toga I'll never leave you." These words were a sense of relief for Toga who thought Shin had finally come to his mind though she would only be disappointed in the end.

"But I think this week will be good for us." The smile that threatened to form on Toga's face became broken in an instant upon hearing his words.

'Whisker's keep her company.'

'Ok.' Whisker's didn't understand what was going on since she had been playing with a pen; however after hearing Shin's words she recognized her friend's state and agreed.

"SHIN-" Shin ruthlessly closed the door while calmly walking down the hallway seeing an awkward looking Inasa.

"Do I want to know?" Inasa, who had heard Toga's drowned out cries, hesitantly asked.

"Probably not, and you should hide all the knives." Shin padded Inasa's shoulder who gave him a confused expression.

"Even the ones in the kitchen." Inasa asked while watching Shin walk down the hall.

"Especially the ones in the kitchen." Shin waved passing the corner leaving Inasa a little speechless.

"SHIN!" Toga's sudden ear piercing screech made Inasa flinch, then he immediately went to do what was asked of him.

Shin had thought about how to deal with Toga ever since the park and decided to proclaim his love before telling her he needed space.

This would in turn make it seem like she was in the wrong which might offset any erratic actions she would take if formally confronted by Shin.

Sighing, he decided to put the whole Toga situation to the side since right now she needed to simmer as he picked up his train of thought before Toga interrupted it.

Now with meeting Nezu again, Shin decided it was time to start his part of the plan by brainwashing all the useless elders who are responsible for the internal conflict as well as also splitting up the Yakuza.

From what Shin knew from Shie's memories there should be three factions in total in the Yakuza, First the oyabuns faction the believes in his beliefs, second the faction called the 'Adapting Faction' were their beliefs lay with the ideology of the necessity to adapt to the world and embrace quirks like other gangs, and finally third the 'Origin Faction' which is essentially the faction that wanted to bring back the Yakuza to their roots by returning to there operations and methods from their golden days which meant shedding the ethics of Shie for a much crueler one.

Shin who changed his appearance to a random passerby couldn't help but agree with both of these factions.

The Adapting Faction and The Origin faction both could bring the Yakuza to greater heights from its current standpoint though in reality the Adapting Faction would most likely come out on top if Shin wasn't in the picture since there way of doing business seemed more ideal for making the Yakuza at least semi prominent.

The Origin faction didn't restrict the manpower of members with quirks however instead of human trafficking and selling trigger they would instead focus on things like gambling, drugs, loan sharking, prostitution, and even though these ways would net them a lot of profit they wouldn't make as much of a difference compared to the adapting faction.

However in the end all the elders had to die, and the reason was very simple; there can be only one leader.

What these elders did caused a sudden change in the power dynamic when they decided to part ways from under Shie.

So if the elders were spared this meant the likelihood of the members in the separated divisions listening to the oyabun over the elder they are directly under was almost zero

The plan for dealing with these two factions was simple; brainwash the elders from the two factions and have them send hit orders for Koji and Shie.

Shin will have Koji die while he personally saves Shie to which he will 'suddenly' become very depressed upon learning of Koji's demise.

He will then let Shie sit for a day or two but before he can properly get himself back into a stable mindset, Shin will have the bombs he'll eventually plant go off in Musutafu which will allow Shin to subtly ask him for the rights to finally unite the Yakuza.

Shie will most likely succumb to Shin's advice leading him to be the leader in this charge which will show how capable he is to the rest of the Yakuza, setting himself up as the front runner for the Oyabun position.

Then Shin will have Shie's mental state rapidly deteriorate and after the Yakuza is finally fully united, Shie will 'decide' that suicide is the only option leaving his postion free for Shin too take.

'I still need to be wary of anyone interrupting my plan.' Shin thought as he made his way towards the front for the Adapting faction which was the headquarters of the construction company called BlueBird Construction.

The warrant for his wariness was mostly due to all these unknown factors coming out of the woodworks suddenly like the association.

Shin wasn't worried about them ruining his plans but inconveniencing them, in the end Shin wanted it to be as smooth as possible.

It was the main reason for the bombings since they are intended to be smokescreens for the association and any other gang that is trying to stop him from uniting the Yakuza.

Arriving at a building in downtown Musutafa, he gazed up at the big sign that read 'BlueBird Construction', and upon gazing at the entrance his eyes were greeted with the sight of a bustling number of employees constantly walking in and out of the nice looking building.

Joining into the crowd of incoming people he arrived inside the building with a reception desk being the first to greet everyone though a minimum amount of people made their way to the reception desk and instead walked to security to show them their worker I.D.

Then beyond security were the elevators that lead to every floor where these employees would start or continue their long day of work.

Shin didn't walk to the reception desk or security but instead the bathroom, while walking he made eye contact with some of the guards trying to act as suspicious as possible before walking in.

"Hey!" A voice called out right as Shin entered the bathroom.

5 Minutes later

"Aiki what is the situation?" A guard seriously spoke however Aiki waved his hand signaling him to calm down.

"He's nothing but a delinquent, and after I ruffed him up a bit, I told him to leave after he finished his business." Aiki smirked, making the guard sigh.

"Don't tell me you made a mess." The guard pinched his nose though Aiki shook his head.

"Do I look like an amateur to you, I only knocked the wind out of him." Aiki walked past the guard who sighed.

"Where are you going?" The guard scratched his chin while side eyeing Aiki.

"Taking lunch." Aiki pressed the elevator button making the guard, along with the other guards, facepalm at his actions showing that he had done this before.

"Aiki it's only 10:30 am, yo-"

"I'm hungry." Aiki shrugged leaving the other guards helpless.

"Fine, but don't think you can take a break at twelve with the rest of us." The guard waved him off as Aiki nodded.

"Yeah, Yeah, I get it." Aiki showed an annoyed expression entering the elevator doors.

Once the doors closed a plain expression spread across his face as he pressed the button for the top floor.

Along the way people shuffled in and out though Aiki quietly stood in the corner giving a greeting every once and while to anyone who initiated one first.

*Ding*

The elevator opened as Aiki walked out, not caring about the questioning gazes suddenly surrounding him, he made his way to the receptionist who also had a questioning gaze that seemed to join in with all the others cluttering around his whole being.

"How may I help you...…..Mr. Tanaka." The receptionist raised her eyebrow after recognizing the uniform that showed him as a simple security guard from the lobby.

"Please tell the chairman I have information about the Doctor." Aiki whispered but the receptionist only showed a frown.

"You could lose your job Mr-" The receptionist who didn't know anyone by that name tried to save this guy from losing his job but instead of letting her finish he held up his hand.

"Please, I'm sure I won't be turned away." Aiki smiled calmly.

The receptionist hesitated however she ended up picking up the phone and notifying the chairmen.

"Yes chairmen I apologize, I have someone here known as Mr. Tanaka who says he has information on someone called the Doctor but if yo-" She slowly said however her words were interrupted once again.

"What? Chairmen-yes but-yes i'll tell him."

*Click*

The shocked receptionist didn't say anything, seemingly a little baffled that the chairmen actually wanted to listen to what he had to say.

*Cough*

"May I go in?" Aiki asked, pointing to the door causing the receptionist to flinch.

"Y-Yes, and I apologize for my behavior, the chairman will see you now." The receptionist recovered quickly, stumbling over to the door to let Aiki in.

Aiki nodded his head entering the room as she closed it behind him, his sight was immediately met with a calm old man crossing his fingers.

"This better be good or-" The man seriously spoke however his words suddenly became caught in his throat.

The old man tried to move his body though once he discovered that it suddenly became impossible he tried to show a confused look though his face wouldn't even allow for that.

"I would humor you on your questions about 'Who I am' or 'Why I'm doing this' but unfortunately I have to do this once more time to the origin faction so I'd rather get this out of the way." Aiki boredly spoke as the old man's pupils shook with intensity upon hearing him say 'origin faction'.

Aiki adjusted the tie around his neck letting it droop down to his collar a little as he sighed in relief.

"It's been a while since I wore a suit and tie, I really need to get used to the feeling again." Aiki finally made his way to the petrified old man before resting a hand on his face.

His eyes suddenly rolled back as the disguised Shin started to change and add false memories into the old man.

After some time of formulating his memories, Shin released his hand and made his way to the front of his desk while positioning himself to show a respectful look and posture.

"Sir?" Shin respectfully asked, making the old man known as Daizen flinch.

*Cough*

"I must've gotten lost in my train of thought, wait by the side while I call my associates." Daizen gestured to the side as Shin bowed.

"It's Daizen and it's an emergency."

Shin watched Daizen repeat this process as he called the other elders while calling an emergency meeting.

Daizen to Shin's knowledge could be seen as a very capable man, he is in charge of the 2nd division and also acts as the chairman of BlueBird Construction with the other elders acting as the board of directors.

Only two hours passed when four old men entered the office showing varying expressions.

The elder known as Anji, in charge of the 5th division, had an annoyed expression plastered on his face, he didn't say a word while taking a seat in a chair as another elder followed behind him.

He is the elder known as Hidemi, he's in charge of the 7th division and had a displeased expression though tried to hide it as he sat on the chair beside Anji.

Then the last two elders known as Fumito and Genta arrived who were in charge of the 8th and 10th division showing mirroring anxious expressions while both sitting next to each other on the couch.

"Daizen what is the reason for-" Hidemi's words were interrupted as the furniture he was sitting on started to morph and wrap around him.

Hidemi felt like he was sinking into the chair as his mouth, arms, and legs were all suddenly bound into the chair.

The other elders all had similar reactions and experiences, they tried to fight the sudden entrapment though upon finding out that their attempts were futile they then tried to call out for Daizen.

However once their gazes turned to Daizen they saw him slumped over on his chair illuminating a hollow expression causing them to shift their gazes to the only other person in the room.

They tried to scream for help from outside, however their muffled voices mixed with noise suppression made the attempts useless as Shin began to stroll over to his first victim as Hidemi showed a look of anxiousness seeing Shin in front of him.

Hidemi's struggles stopped suddenly, making the other elders show a terror filled expression seeing his eyes roll back.

Repeating the process over and over again, the next elder in line could only watch in horror knowing they would meet the same fate eventually until they all succumbed to Shin's will.

After brainwashing the last elder he morphed the furniture into what it was originally before making his way close to the door.

Shin stretched his limbs while heaving a sigh before bowing deeply, showing himself as sincere as possible.

"That is all I heard from the delinquent!" Shin shouted as the light returned to each and every one of the elders' eyes.

"Hmmmmmmm." Daizen who was the first to regain himself stroked his beard as one after the other the elders all came to their senses.

"Aiki you may go." Daizen instructed as Shin bowed again while making his way out the door.

Once he closed it behind him the elders remained silent with each seriously contemplating what he just 'said'.

"It seems we must act on Koji Hatsumura."

In the elevator Shin quietly waited in the same corner until he arrived back at the lobby, and upon walking out of the elevator he saw some disgruntled looks from his fellow bodyguards.

"Aiki what the hell!" A guard shouted, making some oncoming employees flinch.

"I apologize but it was an emergency and I had to meet with the chairmen." Aiki informed them as a shocked expression slowly spread on all the guards present like a plague.

"I-I see...…..well I guess we can forgive you, but go check on that delinquent you beat up, he still hasn't left the bathroom." The guard coughed gesturing to the bathroom around the corner.

"He's still in there?" Shin showed a confused expression already knowing that since he made the original Aiki brain dead so he wouldn't do anything while he brainwashed the elders.

"Yeah, the guy hasn't come out yet *Sigh* I swear if there's a single drop of blood I'll-"

"I'll go check." Shin chuckled as the guard showed a displeased expression.

"What do you think happened?" A guard asked curiously however the latter shrugged.

"Who cares, it's obviously above our pay grade to question the chairmen." The guard yawned while checking his watch.

"More importantly it's time for lunch, once Aiki gets back we'll have him cover for us." The others smiled while patiently waiting for Aiki to handle that delinquent.

Minutes later they saw Aiki escorting a clearly bruised man out of the building while returning to his colleagues.

Shin turned away from the building while getting rid of the marks on his face as he passed the oncoming crowd.

His next stop was the only horse track in Musutafu which brought in heavy amounts of clean money every single day.

Gambling is considered illegal in Japan so instead of casinos there's horse tracks and in the whole entire Japan there are only eleven.

The Origin faction is currently occupying this only horse track in Musutafu as a base of operation however this was only momentary since the government has been heavily lobbying the Japan racing association for different ownership.

Shin knew that the Inowa gang is responsible for this since the government is involved, and the sad thing is that the only reason the Origin faction is even persisting in keeping their rights to operate the race track is due to the Sukowa underlining efforts to stop the Inowa from getting their hands on it.

In the end Shin wanted to hold both of the companies that split off from the Yakuza in his possession since they were crucial for the future.

Both companies were important sources of clean money that the Yakuza desperately needed, each would have pivotal roles for allowing Shin to make his entrance into the financial world.

It took Shin thirty minutes to arrive at the Origin factions base of operations as he gazed up at the entrance sign that read 'Musutafu RaceTrack' in big bold letters.

In the head office

"Elder Eizo, you know better than anyone that the Inowa have been actively pushing for the termination for your organization's rights to the race track, and I know of your hostility to the Sukowa however I think a cooperation would benefit both of our organizations."

Elder Eizo scoffed gazing at this man known as Gold who came to see him today proposing an offer on behalf of the Sukowa.

"Do you take the Yakuza for fools? Fifty percent of the profits from the race track is blatant robbery-"

"But can the Yakuza keep all 100% of it by themselves?" Gold smiled showing all his golden teeth as Eizo clenched his fist.

"Get out." Eizo hissed, showing a livid expression at the blatant insult from Gold's mouth.

Gold chuckled while holding his hands up in surrender, standing up he buttoned his suit together seeing that the conversation wouldn't progress any further.

"Well if you change your mind." Gold threw a gold colored business card onto Eizo's desk resulting in more veins appearing on Eizo's neck in frustration.

"YOU-"

*Knock*

*Knock*

*Knock*

"Sir, we have an emergency." A man suddenly entered the room interrupting Eizo's words.

"DAMMIT DIDN'T I SAY NO INTERUPTIONS!" Eizo roared seeing one of his men come in without permission, deciding to take some of his anger out on him.

"Gold?" The man suddenly spoke out as Gold raised an eyebrow.

"Do I know y-"

"Purple Tortoise." The man suddenly spoke out, causing Gold's eyes to suddenly dilate.

"Greetings master." Gold spoke in a monotone voice, greatly shocking Eizo.

However when he tried to move his body it suddenly wouldn't respond to him, alarm bells rang in his mind immediately though in the end all he could do was watch the sudden confrontation unfold.

Shin, who disguised himself as one of the elders' subordinates, sat comfortably on the chair to the side interested in what was transpiring.

"Why haven't you contacted me?" Shin calmly asked Gold since he hasn't received a word from him since he fiddled with his mind and added an alternate personality a while ago.

"Gold hasn't been allowed to partake in any missions and instead has been using the past month to divulge himself in women and alcohol, it wasn't until a week ago that the head of the Sukowa gave him a mission to threaten elder Eizo into giving them a stake in the horse racing track before they inevitably took it from under the Yakuza." Eizo's eyes shook violently upon hearing Gold's words as Shin nodded his head.

"And I was not informed of this prior because?" Shin leaned his head onto his hand showing a confused look.

"The information hadn't been completely gathered so I was waiting for everything to be settled before I contacted you." Gold bowed, seemingly apologizing knowing that this course of action might not have been what his master preferred.

Shin nodded his head in understanding since this alternate identity would report to him all the information happening within the Sukowa so it must have misinterpreted his orders.

"From now on whenever Gold does something involving the Sukowa I want to be informed regardless if it seems little, understand?" Shin stood up while walking to Gold who shook his head in agreement.

"Yes master." Gold's alternate identity nodded his head before closing his eyes going back into the deepest corners of Gold's mind .

"Wha-"

Shin didn't give time for the confused Gold to react as he grabbed his face, replacing the memory to one where elder Eizo would think about his proposal.

Gold slumped onto the chair as Shin turned his sights towards Eizo, seeing his gaze he wanted to flinch, however his body wouldn't even let him do that.

"Sorry for the wait, I just didn't expect you to meet with the Sukowa." Shin slowly walked closer to the still Eizo.

"I think you should inform the other elders of the origin faction of this, don't you agree?" Shin smiled as Eizo wanted to show a look of horror.

Even with his unwilling gaze it eventually rolled to the back of his head as Shin yawned while entering his mindscape.

Releasing his hand moments later led Eizo slumped to the back of his chair, Shin stood to the side while coughed, proning both of them to flinch.

*Cough*

"Gold, I will meet with the other elders and hear their opinions on this matter." Eizo showed a calmer tone as Gold smiled.

"Great, I look forward to your collective answer." Gold stood up but when he went to button the lower portion of his suit it realized it was already buttoned though he didn't harp too much on it before walking out.

"Stand to the side while I tell the other elders." Eizo instructed and Shin nodded.

A few hours passed until the elders finally made their way into the office and like the Adapting Faction each showed varying expressions.

Eizo who calmly sat at the desk was in charge of the 3rd division and is the leader of the Origin faction.

The first elder to enter the office is known as Fumio and is the one in charge of the 6th division, the elder following behind him is known as Asao and is in charge of the 9th division.

The next elder to walk through the door is known as Hayao and is in charge of the 11th division, he didn't arrive until ten minutes later and upon seeing his fellow elders greeted them politely.

The final elder to arrive was known as Osoi and is in charge of the 12th division, noticing that he might have kept them waiting he apologized for his tardiness though none of them seemed to care for this signifying that this might have happened before.

"Eizo what is the meaning of gathering all of us in such a hurry-" The furniture suddenly wrapped around Asao before he could finish his sentence leaving a surprised expression on his face.

Shin didn't waste anymore time and started making his rounds. He had grown impatient after having to wait three hours for these old men to arrive and wanted to just be done with this.

Deju vu formed in Shin's mind as one by one each elder present had their eyes roll to the back of their heads resulting in each of them slumping onto the furniture seated below them.

Shin didn't bother to say anything to them as instead he made his way towards the door, and once he slammed it behind him, all the elders showed contemplating expressions.

"It seems like the Sukowa are trying to push us into a corner." Asao spoke out as the other elders nodded.

"It's unfortunate but I think that we should eliminate Shie, we need more power to maintain our hold on the race track and having the oyabun position will help us with that." Eizo suddenly said though no elder immediately disagreed with him.

"And if it fails we'll actually consider the Sukowa's proposal." Osoi rubbed his chin as the elders nodded their heads.

"If we're all in agreement then I'll have my best men handle Shie."

While the elders were discussing what Shin had instructed them to, he was making his way to the main Yakuza compound.

Now that Shin finished with some of the preparations, he decided instead of heading directly back to the orphanage he would stop by the main compound to make one or two grunts from the first and fourth division have more of a favorable impression of Dabi and Atsuhiro.

Shin wanted to make it easier for them when convincing and influencing these members since the likelihood of them being able to succeed by themselves was rather low.

Upon arriving at the main compound he was immediately greeted with a bow by every member who saw him.

Shin looked for a signia that was present on their suits though all the people who greeted him were only low level members.

"Greetings Doctor!" A man with a fourth division signia greeted when Shin strolled deeper into the compound.

"You don't need to be so anxious around me." Shin patted his shoulder as the man immediately showed a look of relief.

"I apologize however we must show our sincerity to high ranking members." He bowed even deeper as Shin sighed.

"Very well carry on." Shin waved and the member immediately scurried off as a thought kept repeating in his mind.

'The doctor is nicer than I thought, I wonder what his subordinates are like.'

Shin strolled down the pathway wanting to at least find a member of the first division to persuade though even when he walked deeper into the compound there showed no signs of any first division members.

The first division primarily resides in the compound since they are the bodyguards of the oyabun which meant they were either having a division meeting or they were talking to the oyabun.

Shin became lost in his thoughts before eventually arriving in a lavish garden, an array of colors met his vision as they all beautifully blended into one another showing an elegant and neatly decorated mix.

Though there were many different types of flowers a certain flower caught his eye, this pink flower stood out the most to him as it seemed like each petal was carefully stacked on top of one another to form this neatly bundled flower.

"That's a camellia flower if you're wondering." A harmonic voice resounded behind Shin.

Turning around he was graced with a beautiful smile as a woman's head peaked above a bush while her finger pointed to the flower he was gazing at.

Seeing her long white hair and crystal blue eyes, Shin already knew who she was as he finally met the daughter of the oyabun herself Araki Hassankai.

"Thank you?" Shin said it in the form of a question and Araki understood.

"My name is Araki and you must be the man known as the Doctor who I have been hearing non stop about." Araki lightly chuckled, walking around to reveal her outfit sporting overalls and a flannel.

"It's a pleasure to meet the oyabun's daughter." Shin bowed, however Araki sighed immediately, waving him off halfway through his polite gesture.

"You're a high ranking member right? There is no need to bow to me." Shin chuckled seeing Araki's troubled gaze, his eyes though traveled down to the pair of clippers that appeared in her hands, causing Araki to notice.

"There for pruning if you're wondering." Araki read his thoughts before he could even think of them.

"I know, it's just I'm wondering why the head's daughter is doing such a thing." Shin tilted his head and Araki chuckled, walking past Shin.

"Well my dream is to be a botanist and if I had everyone else do these things for me, then how would I learn?" Araki tentatively clipped off a dead flower head while placing it in her basket.

"What made you want to be a botanist." Shin crouched beside Araki who continued to prune the camellia flowers.

"My mother, we always used to take walks in the garden and everytime she would tell me about the flowers. My eyes would light up in fascination at every word that led me to understand more about these beautiful objects." Araki showed a smile in remembrance of her mother while gazing to the side.

"Your nothing like the first division describes you to be, all the stories I hear from the members regard you as a ruthless and scary individual who always has this unapproachable aura." Araki complimented as Shin tilted his head in the other direction.

"Wow, they really make me seem like a monster." Shin rubbed his chin as Araki chuckled.

"More like a dedicated member of the Yakuza." Araki worded it better though Shin doubted it.

Shin was about to add to the conversation however sensed someone suddenly gaze at him with bad intentions.

"Young miss, the oyabun wishes to have dinner with you." A sudden deep voice resounded from the distance, and upon hearing his tone Shin could guess the voice wasn't pleased with his presence around Araki.

Turning his head to the side he saw the leader of the first division Eita Yamada weating a displeased expression.

His appearance showed his old age sporting long gray hair along with a matching beard, his wardrobe consisted of the first division suit with a katana located on his back.

Shin wanted to meet this man since evidently he had a quirk related to the sword which made him able to cut a bullet in his heyday.

*Sigh*

"I understand Eita, anyways Doc it was nice to meet you." Araki smiled being the first one to shorten his name while waving to him as she walked away.

Eita however didn't follow her as his gaze remained on Shin who finally stood up, he waved at him showing a smile behind his mask.

"Hello Ei-"

"Only the young miss and oyabun can call me by my first name." Eita immediately set boundaries as Shin shrugged.

"What should I-"

"Since you are a high ranking member you may call me Yamada and I will call you Doctor." Yamada instructed as Shin nodded

"Do you need something?" Shin strolled closer as Yamada became on guard.

"Why were you conversing with the young miss." Yamada slowly positioned himself so as to grab his katana at any time.

"I just happ-"

"You just happened to go the garden were the young miss frequents-"

"Yes I did, I was exploring the vast area that is the main compound and stopped by the garden." Shin decided to interrupt Yamada since he always seemed to interrupt him, resulting in him scrunching his brows.

"It's displeasing when someone interrupts you in the middle of your sentence, right?" Shin suddenly lunged forward while saying.

Yamada reached for his katana though his hand only clenched air, greatly shocking him until he heard the sound of metal from behind.

*Shing*

"What a finely crafted katana." Shin complemented unsheathing the katana and inspecting it.

"What do you think-"

"I'm doing? I'm disarming you, don't you think it's a little inappropriate to be so hostile with one of your fellow yakuza members." Shin interrupted Yamada, making him clench his hands.

"Doctor, I didn't mean to appear in a manner that made me seem hostile." Yamada calmed himself while bowing knowing that he appeared disgraceful in front of a fellow high ranking member.

Even though Yamada was wary of his intentions it didn't mean he could treat a fellow member with the same authority as him in that way which is why he decided to apolgize.

"Then let's start over." The voice appeared next to Yamada who gazed up to see Shin right in front of him holding his katana outwards to him.

Yamada grabbed the katana as Shin held out his other hand wanting to properly greet him, Yamada was still a little bit reluctant however shook his hand.

Sword Sense: As long as a sword is held in your hands, all senses are heightened to superhuman speeds.

'That explains how he could cut a bullet, he must've trained his body extensively to be able to have his muscles to react to his heightened senses.' Shin evaluated his body after this thought while spreading his authority through him and became a little impressed at how he was able to keep his body in such a peak shape with his age.

"It is very impressive how well you maintain your body." Shin complimented out loud, making Yamada greatly surprised.

"Thank you." Yamada accepted the compliment since it truly was a hard task to be able to maintain his physical fitness at his age.

"Doctor, if I may ask, how were you able to tell?" Yamada, a little intrigued, asked.

"Partially through your hands as well as observing your body type more closely." Shin lied while pointing out factors in his suit that showed some of his muscles.

"You are a very observant person, Doctor." A light flashed through his eyes at this, making Shin chuckle.

"I think you have to be in an environment like the one we live in." Shin accepted the compliment while giving an acceptable answer to his question.

"Doctor, would you like to have a friendly spar in front of my men to show them what two people with deadly quirks look like?" Shin obviously saw the bait though hid his evil smile.

"I think I will take you up on that." Shin nodded while pulling out his phone.

"Doctor?" Yamda asked while leading the way seeing Shin type something.

"I think it would be fun if I had my subordinates join." Shin smiled, not giving a concise answer.

*Buzz*

"Huh." Dabi grunted from his bed, not opening his eyes all the way he reached for his phone.

Grabbing the nightstand first it wasn't until the third try did he grab his phone and upon seeing Shin's text he stood up.

*Sigh*

Dabi only sighed and started getting dressed, once he finished he walked down the stairs only to see Atsuhiro scrambling around the living room.

Three white boards with unreadable scribbling surrounded him as countless amounts of papers were attached to them.

*Inaudible mumbling*

Atushiro had a disheveled appearance with heavy bags under his eyes showing he hadn't slept for days.

Peach fuzz covered the lower part of his face as cans of energy drinks and cups of coffee surrounded him.

"Hey Shin wants us to fight the first division wa-"

"If we kill someone, are they released from their bounding shackles or are they saved from life itself, dammit! What sounds better! Or maybe both!" Atsuhiro immediately tore down a bunch of papers and started writing something while Dabi showed a dumbfounded gaze.

"Nevermind." He had been like this since Shin gave him the opportunity to make up the story however once he left, Dabi didn't expect for Atsuhiro to fully immerse his whole time into it.

Dabi strolled out of the house while yawning to himself, gazes surrounded him while he entered the subway though at this point he was used to it.

Arriving at his stop he started to make his way to the main compound, ten minutes later he arrived.

Yakuza's not belonging to any division greeted though all he did was hold up a hand making his way towards the training grounds.

Shin, finally seeing Dabi arrive, turned his attention to Yamada who had finished changing into his workout close only a couple of minutes ago.

"Are you ready?' Yamada asked unsheathing his sword without waiting for a response.

A sudden green glaze covered his eyes though disappeared shortly after as Shin curiously pulled out a metal spike.

"Of course." Shin smiled as Yamada became on guard, not wanting to be caught off guard like last time.

"1,000,000 yen says the Doctor wins." Dabi pulled out a wad of money causing some other members to show a wide grin.

"100,000 on our boss."

"300,000 on the boss winning."

Dabi wasn't against free money since recently he had been running low on spending cash ever since he started reading manga.

Then after the betting stopped a man walked in between the two high ranking members catching everyone's attention.

"The rules for the spar are simple, no killing and the match will conclude from a surrender or a decision made by me." The man adorned a first division signia but showed an impartial expression.

"Begin." The man announced as Yamada charged forward.

Dust followed behind him as he charged forward at frightening speeds while his eyes moved constantly to observe all of his surroundings.

*Cling*

*Whoosh*

Only once Yamada brought his katana down did Shin swing his spike to counter it, the sudden force sent a slight shock wave through Yamada.

The vibrations traveled through his fingers, then arms, before finally did it resound fully through his body as he grit his teeth.

Shin didn't waste any time as he suddenly sent his right leg rocketing forward at Yamada's stomach.

Immediately his eyes caught the trajectory of the kick, pivoting his foot he pushed himself backwards however Shin's leg reached his stomach before he could dodge.

*Bam*

A sudden breath of air tried to push itself out of Yamada's lungs though he forcefully drew it back in as he kept his stance.

His shoes scraped against the ground as trail marks formed below them after being pushed back under the force of the kick, Shin seeing Yamada finally stop pushed himself forward deciding to put more strength into this swing wanting to see Yamada's limits.

*CLING*

*THOOM*

Shin slammed his spike down on Yamada's katana as an overwhelming force shot forwards upon Yamada who desperately tried to hold on.

Both of their weapons rattled as Shin kept pushing down onto the unwilling Yamada, all his muscles tensed under this unbeatable amount of weight suddenly pushed down onto him.

The first division eyes widened seeing Yamada go onto one knee as Shin pushed even harder onto the katana causing him to put another hand on the blade in an effort to fight it.

"Your quirk is very interesting, it heightens your senses right?" Shin calmly voiced as Yamada grit his teeth.

"Do you know the problem with a quirk that only heightens your senses? The problem is even if you can see an attack it doesn't mean you can make your body avoid it." Shin suddenly released the pressure after finishing his words.

Yamada tried to swing his katana but Shin put his full force into deflecting it resulting in the sword flying out of his hand.

*Ting*

*Ting*

The katana rattled against the ground and once it stopped did the people see a spike pressed against Yamada's neck.

"I surrender." Yamada sighed, and only once the words flowed out of his mouth did the spike finally disappear from his neck.

"I see my age is finally catching up to me." Yamada dryly chuckled though Shin shook his head in denial.

"No, your physical fitness is incomparable for someone your age. It's impressive that you can still manage to put that much force into your swings." Shin helped Yamada up while assuring him he wasn't the problem.

Dabi on the side was collecting all of his winnings from the ground while the members who bet were showing gazes of disbelief.

"The Doctor wins!" The referee announced, knocking everyone to their senses.

"We got scammed." A man huffed seeing Dabi take his money.

"I never told you to bet on your boss." Dabi cracked a smile as the members who didn't gamble chuckled.

"Damn." Another loser cursed.

"My drinking money~" Another whined, falling to his knees.

"It looks like Dabi took some of your subordinates' money." Shin walked up with Yamada who shook his head.

"They can only blame themselves." Yamada ruthlessly turned his head away from the helpless gazes of the losers who could only wallow in defeat in the rejection of their boss.

"How about we give them a chance to recoup their winnings." Shin suddenly said, causing everyone to turn towards him, especially the ones who lost all their spending money.

"If anyone can beat Dabi in a spar then I'll give them all of this." Shin pulled out a wad of yen causing all the money hungry members to gaze at it like a bunch of starving animals left in a cage for weeks on end.

Dabi raised an eyebrow while putting the yen in his pocket though didn't say anything since he doubted any of these grunts could beat him.

"And for the cherry on top, Dabi won't use any flames." Everyone's ears perked up at this as Dabi showed a dumbfounded expression.

Shin pulled the unwilling Dabi to the side not caring about his displeased expression clearly present on his face.

"What's the update on Ohta's kid?" Shin asked but Dabi shook his head.

"I informed the police on a payphone yesterday night so his family should've found out earlier today, I was going to go after I woke up but then you texted me and-"

"Alright after you beat some of these guys, deliver a briefcase filled with some of the stolen yen to them, and for the amount make sure it's comfortable." Shin understood and instructed Dabi who sighed.

"Why do I have-"

"You know why." Shin left him with those words while walking back to a suspicious Yamada.

"Are you sure you want to allow this, my men are no amateurs when it comes to fighting." Yamada asked, a little hesitant and fully confident that his men would eventually be able to bring down Dabi.

"I'm sure." Shin smiled behind the mask as Yamada shrugged.

"Aren't you going to stay and watch?" Yamada asked but Shin shook his head.

"I have other things to attend to." Shin didn't give a concise answer once again as Yamada shrugged.

Once Shin left all gazes shifted to Dabi who rubbed his forehead in dismay until he eventually threw his coat to the side while walking to the center.

"Who's first?"

2 hours later

The training grounds was littered with beaten and bruised members of the first division while Dabi quietly stood in the center.

His clothes were slightly torn though he showed no signs of bruises which amazed some of the spectators.

*Clap*

*Clap*

*Clap*

"I am beyond impressed." Yamada clapped after watching Dabi single handedly beat twenty of his members without using his blue flames.

At first Yamada showed great distress however after seeing him quickly recover he understood that he must've had another quirk like self healing.

'That Doctor is a really tricky fellow.' Yamada smirked to himself knowing that a battle of stamina didn't matter to someone like Dabi.

"Anyone else?" Dabi asked, surveying the onlookers who all shook their heads once his eyes glossed over them.

"Then I'll take this." Dabi walked over to the money offered by Shin.

'Ten million, nice.' Dabi smiled to himself since his new manga addiction would be quelled for now with all the money he received today.

"Thank you for sparring with the first division, we understand that the Doctor might be busy but tell them him that you two are free to drop by the first divsions training grounds whenever." Yamada walked up to Dabi after he finished counting his money.

"I'll tell him of your words." Dabi shook Yamada's hand though felt the sudden force pressed against him making his smirk widen.

Dabi decided to humor him and pressed down with all his strength causing Yamada to show a pained expression.

"Now I can truly know first hand why my men lost." Yamada drew in a cold breath trying to cover his pain with a dry chuckle.

Dabi seeing his expression released his hand causing Yamada to immediately pull it back to his side in haste.

"It has been a pleasure to spar with all of you." Dabi waved to everyone as he grabbed his coat.

Upon leaving Yamada shook his hand in the air as the pain still hadn't subsided, the other members seeing this all laughed seeing their bosses actions.

"He's a tough bastard isn't he?" A man who understood this first hand laughed out loud while grabbing his swollen eye.

"Let's put that aside for now and get everyone the treatment they need!" Yamada didn't answer his subordinate immediately and instead instructed everyone.

"Yes Boss!"

Making his way back to his current place of residence, Dabi saw the sun about to set signaling the coming nightfall.

Deciding not to waste anymore time he entered the house only to see Atsuhiro in the same state except this time writing on another white board.

"Atsuhiro, where is the briefcase." Dabi asked to which he pointed to a nearby closet.

Dabi opened the closet and grabbed the nearest briefcase, and then proceeded to walk down to the basement where they stashed all the supplies they currently had.

Dabi walked over to the countless stacks of yen and started stuffing the briefcase with the money until it was completely full.

Closing the briefcase he made his way out of the basement then out the door not wanting to humor Atsuhiro's crazy ramblings.

Walking down the desolate streets some people started following him to which he dealt with them quickly.

After arriving in a lower class neighborhood that was just barely escaping the slums, he walked up to the door.

*Knock*

*Knock*

*Knock*

Dabi knocked three times while patiently waiting for a response, only seconds later did he see the curtains through the window ruffle.

A small boy peeked out the curtains showing him a glare, Dabi twitched his eyebrows as the door opened seconds later.

"What do you want!" The kid immediately shouted pointing his finger at him.

"I'm here to-"

"Didn't you read the sign that says no soliciting! It means no soliciting!" The boy interrupted Dabi's as he pointed to the sign that hung next to the door that read 'NO SOLICITING' in crayon.

"Sorry I can't read chicken scratch." Dabi smirked as the kid gritted his teeth.

"WHAT! THAT IS THE HANDWRITING OF SOMEONE AT A FOURTH GRADE LEVEL!" The kid yelled, pulling the sign down while holding it closer to Dab so he could get a better viewi.

"Are you sure? Because it seems like something a kindergartener would write." Dabi smirk stretched wider seeing the frustrated gaze of the kid.

"YOU-"

"Tetsutetsu, who is it?" A woman called out groggily.

"No one!" Tetsutetsu changed his expression showing a worried one.

Tetsutetsu tried to close the door though Dabi jabbed his foot making that impossible as Tetsutetsu showed a livid expression.

"BASTARD-"

"Tetsutetsu!" The woman lectured as Tetsutetsu sulked his shoulders.

"Sorry mom." He apologized while giving the smirking Dabi a glare.

"Oh hello? How may I help you?" A woman in a dirty waitress uniform appeared behind Tetsutetsu while calmly pushing him away.

"I'm here to give you this on behalf of the Doctor." Dabi handed the briefcase to the woman who raised an eyebrow.

*Click*

*Gasp*

The woman gasped seeing the large amount of money, and as if already knowing what type of money this was she immediately closed the briefcase and tried to hand it back.

"Lea-"

"This money is for protection after the Yakuza found out what happened to Ohta." Dabi put his hand up, stopping her push of the briefcase.

Her body shook violently as a fearful expression formed on her face thinking that someone bad was about to happen.

"We have no connection with-"

"I know, and if you're wondering we weren't responsible for his death." Dabi lied while trying to clear up the misunderstanding.

"Please leave we-"

"Listen, this is to clear up the misunderstanding that the Yakuza had anything to do with your husband's death." Dabi stopped her once again, seeing her try to give the money back to him again.

"He's not my husband but a degenerate thug, now leave!" The woman showed a vicious expression at hearing any association with him.

"Not until you take the briefcase." Dabi denied the briefcase once more as she showed a frustrated expression.

"Why would the Yakuza even bother with an abandoned family of a-"

"It's because we have morals, and the fact that we banished him from Musutafu for him then to turn up dead means someone had a nasty grudge against your husband that lead to his death." Dabi decided to scare her which worked out resulting in her stopping all actions.

"What?" She had a horrified expression after hearing his words.

"Your husband wasn't killed by the Yakuza but only banished, the fact that we have no idea who caused your husband's death makes our organization frustrated." Dabi calmly informed her as she tightened her grip on the briefcase.

"This money is for you to move to a safer part of Musutafu, and this is for you to contact me if something suspicious happens." Dabi handed her a piece of paper with his phone number on it.

She bit her lip and after a bit of hesitation took the piece of paper with his phone number on it.

"Why does the Yakuza even care?" She whispered though Dabi heard every word.

"Because unlike the ruthless picture constantly painted about us, we have a limit and that means drawing the line when it comes to targeting people who have no connection to the underworld." Dabi stepped back after noticing she wouldn't hand the money back to him.

"What if I decide to leave Musustafu?" She suddenly spoke though Dabi shrugged.

"Then you two are on your own." Dabi then turned away leaving her to only clutch the briefcase before slowly closing the door behind him.

"Hey weird guy!" Tetsutetsu suddenly shouted as he climbed out of a window.

"Weird guy?" Dabi raised an eyebrow seeing Tetsutetsu fall face first into the ground though he got up like nothing even happened.

"Is it true? Is that bastard really dead?" Tetsutetsu scurried over to Dabi.

"Yeah your dad's de-"

"Good." Tetsutetsu crossed his arms as his response made Dabi raise an eyebrow.

"And he's not my dad but a bastard." Tetsutetsu lectured as Dabi turned around.

"Wait!" Tetsutetsu grabbed Dabi's coat, making him sigh helplessly.

"Is my mom in danger?" Tetsutetsu asked, showing a fearful expression.

"Shouldn't you be asking if you're both in danger?" Dabi's question was met with an immediate scoff.

Then much to Dabi's surprise Tetsutetsu's body started to turn into iron before completely becoming encased showing a metal body.

"Does it look like I'm in danger?" Tetsutetsu arrogantly spoke out putting his hands on his hips while posing.

*Ding*

Dabi kicked Tetsutetsu resulting in him flying backwards, he skidded across the ground until he finally came to a stop though immediately gazed up at him with an angry look.

"What the hell!" Tetsutetsu who took the kick easily stood up.

"Yeah it looks like you're in danger." Dabi smirked as Tetsutetsu stomped his feet into the ground.

"That's such a cheap shot! Don't you have any honor-"

"The people who might be after you have none of that kid, that's why I gave your mom my number." Dabi waved as he turned his back to a silent Tetsutetsu.

"Bastard."

Third Person POV Kaina

"So it's here." Kaina spoke to herself, upon reaching a thick iron door.

It took her a while but she finally managed to track down the location of the man called Giran to this part of the slums.

Right now she had her appearance covered by a hoodie and a random mask she bought from a local street vendor with a backpack slinged around her shoulder.

'Now I have to knock three times.'

*Knock*

*Knock*

*Knock*

*Cling*

"What is the password?" A peephole slid open as someone answered immediately upon his three knocks.

"Muddied."

"Who recommended you."

"The Doctor."

*Cling*

The peephole slid shut upon her final answer though she patiently waited until the door eventually slid open.

"Giran will see you now." The man spoke out while gesturing to her to follow him.

She put her hands in her pockets as she followed the man down a flight of stairs until they arrived at another door.

The man opened it for Kaina to enter, she hesitated though entered and once she did the door closed behind her.

What stood in front of her was a table with two chairs on opposite sides of each other, after surveying the room for a while she sat down in the seat closest to the door she had originally come from.

*Click*

Once she did, the door in front of her opened revealing a man adorning a smug smile with a toothpick hanging out the side of his mouth.

"I didn't know the Doctor had friends?" Giran assumed, though Kaina remained quiet.

"Why am I here?" Kaina didn't waste any time and asked the question that plagued her mind.

Giran chuckled at her rude behavior while taking a seat on the other end of the table.

"I don't know, why are you here?" Giran smiled as her brows twitched.

"Didn't the Doctor tell you I was coming." Kaina squinted under her mask and Giran shrugged.

"I don't know, my memory is a bit, fuzzy." Giran twirled to the toothpick around his mouth showing a helpless expression.

Kaina set a bundled up wad of yen onto the table in front of him, Giran seeing her hand released from immediately grabbed it but sighed.

"It's getting clearer but only slightly." Giran showed an expression filled with dismay as Kaina grit her teeth at this highway robbery.

Two more wads of bundled up yen were set down onto the table making Giran chuckled while grabbing them.

"Ah, I remember now." Girna stuffed the yen into his coat while giving her a bright smile.

"He said 'I'll meet with you later'." Giran chuckled as Kaina remained quiet.

"You're telling me that the Doctor had me find you all by myself only for him to tell me he'll 'get to me later'." Her eyebrow twitched in annoyance as Giran chuckled even more.

"He's a character, am I right?" Giran grabbed his stomach, finding amusement in the clear annoyance in her tone.

"Is that all?" Kaina spoke though Girna only shrugged.

"It depends, if that's all you want then I guess it is, however if you want more information on the Doctor then I think we can work something out." Giran adjusted his glasses as dollar signs appeared in his eyes.

"You have information for sale on the Doctor?" Kaina asked, clearly interested.

"Of course, I'm a information broker after all though all of it-"

Kaina didn't give him time to finish as she grabbed her backpack and unzipped it before dumping all the contents onto the table.

"Everything, tell me everything." Kaina piercing eyes shot at Giran who smiled in delight.

"Of course, anything for a paying customer." Girna flashed a toothy smile, taking one of the rolls of yen and inspecting it.

"Where do you want to start?" Giran asked, setting down the yen.

"At the beginning."

Third Person POV Kaina End

Back at the orphanage Shin was laying in his bed fiddling with his phone while Toga whined outside his door.

"Shin~ *Hiccup* I'm sorry~ *Hiccup* please let me in~" Toga banged against the door as her hiccups sounded between her sentences making them into iterations.

"Toga if you keep whining outside the door then the punishment will get extended to two weeks." Shin spoke out without taking his eyes off the phone as a sudden silence ensued.

"Go back to your bed." Shin spoke out once more.

*Sniff*

*Sniff*

It didn't happen instantly though eventually the shadow disappeared under the crack of the door signifying her listening to Shin.

"You should've seen it Shin, after you left she went full on ballistic." Inasa chuckled in remembrance at the events that transpired today while he was gone.

"Oh yeah? What happened after I left." Shin curiously asked though his eyes still remained on his phone.

"When I finally finished hiding all the knives, she showed a look of shock after running all over the orphanage. Then an hour later she started to become delusional while saying things like 'He's lying' or 'He didn't mean it' and when it set in you were serious she went ballistic throwing the loudest tantrum ever. Once she calmed down she found me and started begging me to change your mind. That was my favorite part and after I denied her she slumped onto the floor. For a whole 2 hours she remained in that same spot until she stood up while muttering 'It's only a week' over and over again while wrapping herself in your sheets." Inasa explained, clearly enjoying the show put on for him by Toga while recounting each and every thing she did.

'Sounds like the seven stages of grief.' Shin thought while swiping to the next tab.

"Well she's right about it only being one week, I wonder if she can handle it." Shin spoke though Inasa scoffed.

"No way man, she won't last two days." Inasa knew Toga and couldn't imagine her being able to hold herself back for a whole entire week.

"I guess we'll see."

In a random darkened room in the Yakuza main compound

"Are you sure it was Ohta!" Arashi yelled, showing a hopeful gaze.

He clutched the phone in his hands tightly while biting his lip resulting in blood to form at the edge of his mouth in wait of a response.

*Beep*

Upon hearing the click on the other end Arashi fell to his knees as a stream of tears fell down his cheeks.

A smile of disbelief formed as he gazed up into the sky, then he closed his eyes while placing his hands together finally showing a peaceful expression.

'May you finally be at peace Hiroki.'

1 week later

In a dark and cluttered room, Atsuhiro excitedly held a stack of papers in his hand as a crazed smile eclipsed his face.

"IT'S DONE! MY MASTERPIECE IS DONE!"
