Chapter 14: Ambush part 2

Earlier in the day

"While I entangle myself with Overhaul you two are going to subdue his lackeys known as the eight bullets and make sure to have at least a piece of each one." Shin handed them two pieces of paper that showed all their abilities that he saw from Yu Hojo's memories along with basic instructions.

"So basically the clown stalls the brawns while I deal with the others, why are you even trusting this guy? What if he bails." Dabi was baffled after reading Shin's plan that meant he would have to trust this clown and Mr. Compress gasped.

"I never abandon a show! I always see it through!" Mr. Compress was greatly offended by Dabi's statement proclaiming his intentions for the two to see.

Shin had grasped Mr. Compress nature and from what he understood so far he should help him and even if he did decide to betray them which was a low possibility, Shin wasn't worried and concluded he could subdue Mr. Compress after analyzing how he uses his powers.

"Alright you two that's enough, all you have to do is focus on those targets and follow the instructions." Shin pointed and Dabi had a look of disbelief.

"Do not worry young emo I promise that I will protect your life so you may take it later." Mr. Compress declared as a ball of flames appeared in Dabi's hands.

"You better."

Present day

"Go."

Dabi and Mr. Compress immediately went down into a position that cut off the others from going towards Overhaul.

"You bastards!" Yu Hojo yelled as gems formed from his body.

"Remember to leave them in at least a piece." Dabi started igniting himself in raging fire while not holding himself back.

"Unlike your uncivilized quirk, mine is very elegant so of course they will be complete." Mr. Compress scoffed, taking a marble out of his pocket.

"Don't forget to distract Setsuno-" Dabi didn't wait for him to finish while rushing towards the eight.

"Urgh!" Dabi felt dizzy all of sudden and ducked away as a knife came hurling at him though he didn't stop his charging, unleashing his flames towards Setsuno.

*BOOOOM*

Tengai rushed in front of Setsuno as flames collided against his barrier, blocking the view of Setsuno which was the intended purpose of this attack as the marble enlarged in Mr. Compress' hand.

*BANG*

*BANG*

*BANG*

Mr. Compress started firing and a man suddenly stood in front of his target Deidoro revealing himself to be Katsukame.

Below him was a broken vial and Mr. Compress squinted knowing full well that it was the drug known as trigger.

"Go to Tengai." He stated and Deidro immediately went towards Tengai.

The flames whipped out of Dabi's embrace herding the eight bullets as if they were sheep, a shot of flames intended to scare the grunt Soramitsu Tabe caused something different instead of its intended purpose.

Yu Hojo saw an oncoming blast and hurriedly picked up Tabe while rushing towards Tengai's barrier.

Katsukame peeled the bullets off his skin as they left three bloody holes on his left arm, Rappa who was jumping in the air in excitement suddenly shot himself forward at Dabi until he jumped back.

*BOOOM*

A boulder appeared in his path causing the fighting junkie to look towards Mr. Compress, seeing the attention he bowed.

'I guess since there are only two that means plan B. He really did account for everything.' Mr. Compress thought, noticing two people in his vicinity instead of three.

'I have to finish this quickly.'

"Hello I am Mr. Compress, thank you for spending your last moments attending my show, I hope you enjoy it!" Mr. Compress looked up from his bow with an evil smile forming behind his mask.

"If you wanted to fight then you should have just told me!" Rappa didn't hesitate and lunged at Mr. Compress, winding up his arms as a barrage of punches started to form.

Katsukama, who wasn't far behind him, felt a sudden urgency at everything that was happening, that fire kids attacks didn't seem like they were trying to hurt them but more like guiding them which made him anxious.

'I need to hurry.' Katsukama concluded by clutching his fist while running to catch up to Rappa so they could kill this guy and support the others.

"Here catch." Mr. Compress threw a marble transforming it into a boulder but instead of running backward he leaped forwards.

"WOAH!" Rappa rolled under it while shouting in amazement.

'Gotcha'

"Rappa!" Katsukama lunged at Mr. Compress while using his abilities to eat away at some of Rappa's stamina to catch up with the two.

*BAM*

"Dammit Rappa!" Katsukama yelled, punching Mr. Compress away causing him to tumble a ways away.

"Oh yea, would you look at that." Rappa was impressed looking at the missing part of his right arm, unbeknownst to them on the ground stood a blue marble encasing the other half.

"Eh, boss will fix it later." Rappa shrugged knowing this could be fixed with just a single touch from Overhaul.

"Rappa we need-"

"Wow, your performance really packs a punch!" Mr. Compress shouted, brushing off his clothes, as before he stood up he popped his shoulder back into place though he didn't show any reaction as that would diminish the performance.

"I'm glad I can entertain such interesting people!" Both of them looked in shock seeing Mr. Compress seemingly fine after taking a full punch from Katsukama.

"He took one of your punches! He took one of your punches! I'm so fired up!" Rappa yelled, continuing his pursuit.

*BOOOOM*

A loud booming of fire exploded behind Katsukama causing his head to instinctively cock to the side and after hesitating for a while he decided to follow Rappa since he would surely die by himself.

Rappa rushed at Mr. Compress with a crazed fighting spirit and Mr. Compress smiled at the performance he was about to achieve.

"Let us start the second part of the first act off with a bang shall we!" Mr. Compress shouted as two marbles appeared in each hand resulting in two glock's.

Bullets flew out of his twin glock's at a rapid speed, Katsukama pulled Rappa back and put his arm in front of his face leaving his body wide open.

"DAMMIT!" Katsukama felt the bullets pierce his skin making him have to use his quirk on Rappa.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING KATSU-!"

"SHUT UP!" Katsukama didn't care about Rappa's complaints nor did he care about being honorable and started to drain Rappa of all his stamina.

"Bastard." Rappa let out weakly feeling all his stamina sucked out of him as Katsumkama threw him to the side.

"Wow, a betrayal before the second act! I cannot believe this!" Mr. Compress was astonished at the sudden action, putting his hands on his face in a gasp.

"Shut up clown!" Katsukama roared, rushing at him with newfound strength.

"I'm not a clown." Mr. Compress hissed, condensing his eyes while taking out eight marbles and throwing them at Katsukama.

*BOOOM*

The marbles turned out to be grenades with the pin's all missing resulting in them exploding in Katsukama's face, his skin was turning charcoal black yet Katsukama didn't flinch.

Mr. Compress ran forward under the black smoke, then a fist suddenly flew at high speeds through the smoke but instead of dodging Mr. Compress took the punch.

*Bang*

"Huh?"

*Cough*

"Tada!" Mr. Compress latched onto his arm as before the punch could utterly destroy him he activated a marble under his coat resulting in a thick sheet of tungsten appearing absorbing a lot of the force.

Feeling the hard surface it surprised and confused Katsukama that he didn't fly backwards or how his fist didn't fully submerge into this insect's body.

Then suddenly his view changed until Mr. Compress was seen as a giant instead of the insect he once was which once again filled him with confusion.

"Sit tight alright." Mr. Compress externally kept up his appearance, putting Katsukama in his pocket.

Internally however his body was suffering as all of his ribs except two had broken with even some organ damage occurring.

Slowly walking towards Rappa he touched him before turning him into a marble, breathing became a little hard as he took off his mask revealing his orange eyes.

"What kind of performance did I get myself into?"

*BOOOM*

On the other side of the battle Dabi had a mad smile on his face, finally being able to use his quirk to its fullest without any repercussions.

"Did you use your quirk on him Deidoro!" The blond haired man known as Setsuno yelled.

*BOOM*

"Of course I used it on him! I even used a vial of trigger! Even now he's under the effects!" Deidoro slurred out countering his accuser.

*BOOM*

"Open the barrier and let me through, I should be able to get closer to him with my quirk." Due to Dabi's mistake Yu Hojo ended up near the non combatant quirks which was not supposed to happen.

In reality Dabi was supposed to finish off the five quickly since none of their quirks could fight him head on.

Then he was supposed to aid Mr. Compress who would be stalling for time but that all changed when Dabi didn't react fast enough and Yu Hojo made his way to Tengai.

"Yes that does seem ideal, we should form our attack around Hojo." Nemoto stated and the others nodded as another blast of fire came spiraling out.

"I can't hold it for much longer." Tengai was starting to become drenched in sweat as his stamina started to wear down with every one of Dabi's strikes.

When the first attack occurred and he witnessed Dabi's firepower he immediately consumed two more vials of trigger to enhance his barrier's effects.

The barrier opened partially and Yu Hojo sprinted out, gems had littered his body and upon seeing this Dabi used one hand to fire at Yu Hojo.

Yu Hojo put his arms in front of him while sprinting through the oncoming flames, his gems started to melt but he just kept growing them from his skin ignoring the pain.

"Damn." Flames ignited under Dabi's feet as he started to fly into the sky, the reason he didn't do this in the first place is that it cut his fire power in half causing him to split his attention.

"Deidoro!"

"I know!" Deido drunkenly roared as he started throwing his knives at Dabi who tried to dodge while throwing the blasts of fire at them, Tengai started to time it right allowing for the knives to escape and the flames to be blocked.

*Fuck." A knife impaled Dabi's left arm, angry muttering to himself becoming increasingly more frustrated that he was injured while they still remained unharmed.

Setsuno used his quirk and all the knives including the one impaled in Dabi's shoulder was returned to his hands to which he handed them to Deidoro.

"Nice throw." Setsuno applauded.

"Thanks." Deidoro nodded ready to throw the knives again.

"Who is your target?" Nemoto yelled and Dabi's mouth moved on his own.

"The noncombatants."

"Damn." Dabi started to become more fierce as his annoyance started to reach its peak, throwing as much fire at the barrier as possible wanting to just kill them.

Yu Hojo, seeing this, started forming spears of gems from his hands to throw at him to get his attention.

"Why is your boss doing all of this?" Nemoto asked and Dabi started to struggle under the question.

"To kill your boss and absorb the yakuza, FUCK!" Dabi cursed as his anger started to seep out of him as he put his hands together as a combusted and deadly fire formed in his hands.

Every single one of them widened their eyes at his answer, they all instinctively looked over in the distance where Overhaul was until Nemoto turned his gaze back to Dabi then flinched.

Then all of a sudden Dabi's patience snapped as the calm expression disappeared from his face finally letting his emotions start to control him.

"What are you doing!" Nemoto shouted urgently seeing his sudden actions.

"I'm about to use Prominence Burn!" Dabi laughed out crazily, and upon hearing this familiar move alarmed bells ran in all their minds.

Under their shock ridden eyes the blue flames from the surroundings started to converge towards the crazed Dabi.

*Thump*

Their heart beats started to synchronize feeling the familiar aura that Dabi was emitting which was one they were all too familiar with, death.

The forest was constantly pumping out scorching heat releasing enormous amounts of smoke yet through all of this their breaths felt cold, feeling chilled to the bone unable to move as if they were frozen.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Dabi's insane laughter freed them from their mental shackles resulting in them shivering unconsciously.

"HOJO, DEIDORO FUCKING STOP HIM!" Setsuno screeched, immediately handing the returned knives to Deidoro.

"AHAHAHAHAHA! I HOPE THAT BARRIER CAN BLOCK THIS YOU FUCKING CUNTS!" Dabi roared, throwing his sanity in exchange for rage, putting more power into his hands, and in doing so the fire below his feet decreased lowering his height down as the target on his back became wider.

Dabi all of a sudden clasped his hands together before pulling them apart slowly creating a mini shock wave as a small white flame formed in his hands.

More alarm bells rang in their heads knowing if Dabi released that attack they would surely die, urgency fell on their faces as they started to move more hastily.

Yu Hojo started to throw his spears even faster dismissing the quality of the spears only wanting to stop Dabi as Deidoro threw the daggers as Setsuno put them back in his hands.

Cuts started to litter his body as Dabi stopped focusing on maneuvering, putting his whole attention on this attack.

The blood from his new occuring wounds started to seep into his clothes resulting in a pungent iron scent that only Dabi could smell.

But even through all this pain his smile didn't leave its face, in fact it became wider, stretching itself as far as possible as maniacal laughter continuously escaped from his smoke filled lungs.

Seeing the fear seep out of their expressions he couldn't help but enjoy himself knowing that for the first time in his life this technique wouldn't bring him pain and instead they would feel his intended wraith.

"HOW ABOUT INSTEAD OF TELLING YOU ABOUT PROMINENCE BURN WHY DON'T I SHOW YOU!" Dabi roared in madness, holding the technique that had been ingrained in his mind since he was a child above his head.

"STOP HIM!"

"STOP MOVING!"

"NOOOOOO!"

"TENGAI YOU HAVE TO HOLD!"

"I KNOW!"

"PROMINENCE BURN!"

*BOOOOOOOOOOM*

Right as it left his hands the surrounding flames backed away as if surrendering to Dabi's might not daring to progress any further as if afraid of the flames he created.

Tengai consumed three more vials of trigger uncaring that he might OD knowing if he fell then all his comrades would surely die.

A loud shockwave resounded as an explosion of flames hit the barrier causing Tengai to immediately scream in anguish.

The white fire started to break down Tengai's barrier at an alarming rate wanting to devour him whole though Tengai continuously tried to rebuild his barrier but even though the flames weren't passing through his fingers controlling it started to melt.

"It's impossible....how?" Tengai was in disbelief watching his hands start to cremate in front of him as the ash floated upwards then disappeared in front of his eyes.

"My barrier is still up so why?" Hearing his words they turned their heads before they all watched Tengai in horror seeing him being turned into ash until his upper half completely disappeared resulting in the barrier falling.

White eclipsed everyone's eyes causing the retinas of all located in the barrier to burn until they were fully engulfed in white.

"AHHHHHHH!

"MY ARMS!"

"MY LEGS!"

"HELP US! SOMEONE!"

Screams resounded where the barrier once was as Dabi fell down to the ground unable to keep himself in the air.

There was a reason he didn't use this attack but after remembering Shin's words he had no choice.

*Flashback*

"Dabi if you ever end up in a position where you feel cornered during this ambush you must use Prominence Burn." Shin told him as they waited for the nine people to arrive.

"But-"

"If you have a problem with how your father uses it then make it your own, if you hold yourself back then you're only proving your father was right." Hearing those words Dabi breathing became rough thinking of his father before immediately calming down.

"Alright I trust you." Dabi nodded clutching his hands into a shaking fist peering out into the distance seeing people start to approach.

*Flashback end*

"I did it, I made it my own." Dabi looked at his shaking unscathed hands relishing in the feeling of being free from his mental shackles.

Yu Hojo who was frozen watched in horror seeing his comrades burning alive, unable to move after the attack fell and even though a lot of Dabi's attack was negated by the drugged up barrier while only letting a small part to seep through it still did an incredible amount of damage.

"I'LL KILL YOU!" Yu Hojo roared, rushing toward the weakened Dabi who was huffing uncontrollably.

"You cannot kill him, he's one of the main characters in the performance!" Mr. Compress sounded behind Yu Hojo, causing him to roll to the right.

"Y-you!"

"Me!" Mr. Compress affirmed him discreetly coughing up a little blood under his mask unseen by Yu Hojo.

"Where's Rappa and Katsukama!" Yu Hojo demanded, giving enough time for Dabi to stumble to his feet.

"Oh right here!" Mr. Compress revealed two marbles in his hand until they suddenly disappeared.

"Got them!" Setusno yelled through the smoke holding out his hand that was now holding two marbles as half of his body was burnt to a black crisp.

The smoke finally cleared revealing only Tengai's feet lying on the ground along with Deidoro's arm and Netmoto head, Setsuno smiled as a small amount of hope formed in his heart until both of the marbles in his hands suddenly changed into grenades.

"On no."

"Setsuno!"

*BOOM*

The grenades blew up in his hand turning his formerly complete upper body into a bunch of scattered small pieces.

"NOOO!" Yu Hojo screamed in agony seeing another one of his comrades die in front of him.

"Just be quiet and burn." Dabi held out his hand until someone suddenly lunged at him.

*CRUNCH*

"FUCK!" A chunk of Dabi's waist was bitten by the teary eyed Tabe who was deeply saddened by the death of his comrades.

His body was completely burnt in a charcoal black only being able to move from being hopped up on trigger.

"Burn." Dabi grabbed his forehead aggressively as Tabe could only watch in horror as Dabi cremated him alive leaving only a single finger.

"Y-yo-"

"Compress just turn him into a marble." Dabi slumped onto a nearby tree as blood started to furiously leak out of his side.

"You'll never win y-" Mr. Compress easily touched the mentally broken Yu Hojo and turned him into a marble.

"What an amazing performance." Mr. Compress held himself from falling by using his cane as a form of support waving his free arm in the air while poetically preaching.

"Shut up and let me rest in peace until he's done with Overhaul or whatever his name is." Dabi leaned back onto the tree while his skin started to become increasingly pale.

"You'll die, you know." Mr. Compress frowned under his mask seeing Dabi's current state however Dabi just smiled causing Mr. Compress became greatly confused.

"I don't think he'll let me die." Dabi chuckled, holding his bite wound.

"Just carry out his orders and turn those bodies into marbles, or do you want to rebel." When the last words were spoken Mr. Compress put one hand into the air showing a surrender.

"No way, I can barely walk properly, much less escape this fire." Mr. Compress walked over to the other 'bodies' while changing them into marbles.

"What happened to leaving them in one piece?" Dabi raised an eyebrow seeing only the lower half of Setsuno.

"Sometimes in live performances you have to go off the original script." Mr. Compress shrugged and Dabi rolled his eyes.

Then after turning everyone into marbles he limped over to the tree Dabi was resting on also leaning against it while releasing a sigh.

"Your wound-"

"I wouldn't be surprised if I did die and he brought me back to life." Dabi interrupted him knowing what Mr. Compressor intended, causing Mr. Compress's frown to deepen at his words as that was impossible.

'Only a god can bring the dead back to life.'

"Truly a difficult perfom-"

"Just stop." Dabi spoke closing his eyes and Mr. Compress smiled, agreeing to Dabi's last wishes.

*BOOOOM*

"DIE!" Overhaul screamed using the earth to fly backwards while shooting some of it forward.

'I need to escape.' Were the only words in his mind, his pawns could be revived however he couldn't.

Shin through all of this had been in fact toying with Overhaul for the sole purpose of seeing how he used his quirk in hopes he would get inspiration for better ways to use it, however what he saw was in a simple word.

'Disappointing.' Shin just watched as Overhaul used the ground to delay Shin's movements while pushing himself away simultaneously.

'ESCAPE, ESCAPE, ESCAPE!' The word kept screaming in his head while rushing toward the edge of the flaming ring.

"Oh come on Kai, if escaping was that easy you wouldn't be here." Shin laughed out seeing Overhaul terraform the ground to make an opening for him to escape through.

Shin took another step as a ripple resounded causing pillars to shoot in unique directions instead of at Overhaul.

The pillars all of sudden buried themselves into the flaming trees causing Overhaul to become confused until his eyes started to shake.

The tree's immediately started to stretch as their compositions changed from a completely solid form to a stretchy substance.

The tree's started wrapping around themselves until a large circle surrounded them, fully closing off the entrance Overhaul made.

How his quirk worked was essentially spreading his authority into matter then controlling it but doing that was so inefficient.

Shin had compared this quirk to bacteria; ironically, it spread at his touch which caused greater possibilities to form in his mind.

Using the pillars instead of attacking he could use it to spread his authority to other things which was one of the reasons Shin hadn't been fully attacking Overhaul.

His pillars were shooting at all sorts of things while essentially spreading his authority until almost everything in his surroundings was under his control.

"HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!" Overhaul screeched shooting pillars at the wall however they didn't budge as Shin had been constantly reinforcing their mass resulting in a thick wooden barrier forming.

He couldn't spontaneously make objects appear sadly but he could combine compositions so when the tree's touched each other they were in reality actually combined forming one circular tree.

Panicking Overhaul shot himself up into the air but when he did a sudden tidal wave of dirt hit him knocking him back down to the ground.

"Are you done yet?" Shin had formed a long pillar with a comfortable seat on the very top; he had been sitting on this ever since Overhaul had turned his back to him.

"YOU INSECT!" Overhaul yelled, scratching the hives appearing on his skin.

"Kai can't we just have a civilized conversation, I mean no matter what you do you cannot escape." Which was the truth as Shin's control started to form under the very ground he was standing.

"WHY WON'T YOU DIE!" Overhaul slapped his hands onto the ground however when he did nothing happened.

"Tsk tsk tsk." Shin shook his head while pushing himself up, he stepped downwards and right as he was about to fall a step shot out of the pillar..

A staircase suddenly formed while he calmly descended downwards toward the stupefied Overhaul.

"What did you do!" Overhaul hands continued to hit the ground however nothing was happening.

"Kai this was why I wanted to chat, because no matter what you did it wouldn't have mattered since I have complete control of every part of the area surrounded by these wooden walls." Shin broke the news to the shocked Overhaul.

"That's imposs-"

"Well it would be if you didn't unconsciously release your control when you take your hands off of things." Shin shook his head in a disapproving manner.

For some reason whenever Overhaul took his hands off of things he forfeited his control over it, Shin thought he was doing it to conserve stamina but after seeing his actions he just realized he didn't know he was unconsciously doing it.

The ground beneath him started to act as quicksand making Overhaul start to struggle feeling the mushy feeling below him.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Overhaul tried to break free however that only led to him sinking even more.

"I turned the ground into a liquid state by reducing the shape of each speck of dirt, resulting in it becoming more like a liquid than a solid." Overhaul didn't understand as Shin's feet hit the ground that he was sinking on.

"Solid matter has a definite shape and volume while liquids only have a definite volume so I took away the shape of the ground." Shin explained while bending down.

"IT'S OVER!" Shin's ankle showed a little at his motion and Overhaul smiled wickedly grabbing onto him; however when nothing happened he became speechless.

*Sigh*

"The quirks cancel each other out so it's point-*Sigh* you know what nevermind just sit still." Shin grasped Overhaul's face while using upgrade.

Overhaul eyes rolled back feeling something enter his mind, a sudden frown started to eclipse the smile on Shin's face while he started to peer into his mind.

In Overhaul's mental space.

"What is happening!" Overhaul screamed seeing his surroundings change while seeing a frustrated Shin rubbing his forehead.

"So you can control your mindscape to a certain extent, truly an amazing quirk." Shin nodded his head as memories started to surround them.

"What is happening!" Overhaul screeched seeing his memoires flash before him.

"Well since you're going to die in a couple of seconds I guess I'll give the cliche villain speech."

*Snap*

Shin finished his words by snapping his fingers resulting in chains wrapping all around Overhaul, he could only watch as the control of his mindscape shifted towards Shin.

"Like I said earlier you have a knack for giving up your control." Shin spoke not even glancing at him as he was busy moving his hands around organizing Overhaul's memory.

"WHAT ARE Y-"

"I'm reading your mind basically, my power upgrade has the ability to put in false memories as well as erase them, however I have discovered that if I act like I'm putting false memories everywhere I can essentially read your memories." Shin stated until a smile appeared on his face.

"Good now everything you know about the Yakuza is now mine." Shin muttered to himself while quickly analyzing everything.

"Wow how the mighty Yakuza have fallen." Shin couldn't help but laugh seeing the current state of the Yakuza from Overhaul's memory.

"I was wrong about you being an idiot, you're a complete buffoon." Shin rubbed his chin in amazement as Overhaul had reduced the number of members that had quirks since they were a 'plague' while simultaneously increasing the number of quirkless members.

"YOU-"

"Stop talking." Shin made a zipping motion with his hand removing his mouth.

"Well I guess I have to thank you since it will make my plans so much easier." Shin shrugged before swiping his hands making the memories disappear.

Overhaul's muffled yells were heard as Shin slowly started to walk closer and closer to him before putting his hand on his face.

'Stop STOP!' Overhaul eye's started to shake at intense speeds feeling Shin's corruption start to consume him slowly.

"I wouldn't have thought you would hold this long while I use corruption, I know I keep saying this but it is a truly incredible quirk. Do not worry since I'll use it well so be at ease." Shin assured him while forcely pulling him from his mindscape as his eyes rolled forward.

"Any last words?" Shin asked knowing he should at least give him this much.

"STOP! STOP! I CAN'T DIE! NOT UNTIL I RID THE WORLD OF THIS DISEASE!" Overhaul screamed outwards at Shin, feeling his skin start to slowly turn to dust.

"That's where you're wrong Kai, why cure something that was never a disease." Overhaul's body slowly started to turn to dust though the unwillingness in his eyes never disappeared until the wind finally blew it away.

Dusting off his hands Shin turned around as the ground started to form to what it was before Shin had controlled it.

His surroundings suddenly started reverting back to what it once was being a burning forest, Shin walked calmly for a while until arriving at the two leaning on a tree

"I see you guys won your fights." Shin presumed and Mr. Compress looked away.

"Dabi didn't make it-"

"Wake up."

*GASP*

Shin flicked his forehead brigning Dabi back from the dead immediately repairing all forms of his body, Dabi instead of being shocked instead wasn't surprised in the slightest like he was somewhat expecting this.

"Wha-huh?" Shin touched Mr. Compress, healing him instantly and Shin smiled now that he could heal another without feeling pain even resurrecting people was on the table at this point.

The fire raged on as Dabi stretched his side before standing up, Mr. Compressor stood there stupefied, seeing a clearly alive Dabi who he swore died minutes ago which shocked him as his pulse clearly didn't show any signs of life when he checked.

'Is he a god?'

"OVER HERE IT'S RAGING THE MOST OVER HERE!" A voice shouted and Shin immediately touched both of them, turning them into marbles.

'WHAT!' Mr. Compressor was in horror experiencing his own quirk as Shin grabbed both him and Dabi then climbed up a tree.
