56 Training Camp

Sorry for no update in so long guys. Been really busy. Long story short, my hands were getting better, but after a series of mistakes I think I'm back to step 1. Hopefully with all my knowledge I've learnt the past few months and my better mental state I can heal quicker this time.

Anyway with my hands injured I've got lots of time to brainstorm. Been brainstorming this football story a lot. Like a lot. I can't really decide on many things though. Although it will probably be years before i publish the story if I ever go through with it, I want a solid idea set in stone rather than changing my mind, so I would like your guys opinions? The MC will be English and start his career in 2017/2018 at around 17/18 years of age. That's what I've got so far. Here are my questions:

System or no System? If not, any wishes/golden fingers/buffs?

Attacking midfielder like Zidane, who is a magician with the ball, controlling the field with amazing vision? A striker like R9 who has amazing shooting capabilities? or a winger like Messi or Ronaldo, who is fast, can dribble and can cut inside and score? Of course, these are just examples of players and the MC won't be a direct copy of any of them. He will have his own strengths and skills that differentiate him from the others and eventually make him the best?

What about Clubs? What clubs should he play for, and in what years? He starts in 2017/2018 season. Should he start in the English league and maybe move to La Liga or Bundesliga? Should he play for a lower level club in his first year for more game time? Keep in mind that if he wants to play for a world-class team then there needs to be an availability in the position he plays. He can't just join the club and replace some of the best players in the world, he needs a good team who need a player in his position.

"So how did it go?" Nezu asked. He had just been in an exam against Kaminari and Mina at the same time as Akira's exam, so the two were now exchanging stories on how the exam went. It had become a common occurrence for Nezu and Akira to occasionally catch up and speak about various things. There were very few who could keep up with the quick mind of Nezu, Akira was one of them.

Sometimes they didn't speak about anything hero related, while other times they just played chess in silence.

"It went well," Akira smiled, thinking back to the exam. He had solved both Todoroki's and Bakugo's underlying problems in a quick 10 minutes, something he thought impossible. Come to think of it, did this make him a really good teacher?

Nezu sipped his tea, "I was told that Bakugo and Todoroki passed the exam."

"My goal was to teach the students a lesson they needed to learn. If I went 100%, UA would have a lawsuit with 2 dead students on their hands."

"And your hero career would be over, and your hero licence would have been revoked," Nezu rebutted, "So, what exactly did you do to solve the problems of the worst 2 students in the year?"

Akira smirked, "Nothing much, I just put them in a scenario where if they didn't solve their problems, then they would have lost. Those two love nothing more than winning, so they naturally put aside their differences."

"Using their own strengths against them with an ultimatum. Looks like I taught you well." Nezu hummed.

"Taught? More like forcibly learnt." Akira scoffed.

Nezu shrugged, "All's fair in love and war, and my classroom is a battlefield. How is your progress with your medical training going along?"

"Eh…" Akira made a so and so gesture with his hand, "It's going ok. I'm learning more about anatomy and all of that, which is cool and all, but I don't feel like I'm getting any closer to saving All Might. I originally thought I could just disassemble and reassemble his stomach again, but it's much more complicated than that."

Akira shivered as he recalled the moment. All for One had left something lingering on All Might's wound, which made it impossible for him to use his quirk to try and heal it. No matter what he tried, nothing worked.

"Oh yes, his wound," Nezu recalled with a disgusted look, "It's a nasty little thing. I can only hope that when Toshinori bashed his face in that quirk got wiped from existence, it's something no man should have to face."

"Indeed." Akira agreed. He finished his tea and got up from his seat, stretching his stiff muscles, "I've gotta go now."

"Already? We barely just started. I had cakes coming!"

Akira chuckled, "Maybe next time. I'm a hero now, got hero things to do."

"Like hanging out with Nejire?" Akira froze. Damn that rat.

Nezu had a victorious smirk on his face.

"How did you…" Akira sighed, "Nevermind…" He gave up, knowing he would never find out. He had his secrets, while Nezu had his own.

"Also before you go, could I ask if you have thought about sending Eri over here?"

"No," Akira instantly replied, "I wouldn't subject her to you when she is so young. She will turn into a monster."

"Haha…Only a monster? I'd turn her into something much worse." Nezu chuckled.

Other than his quirk, if there was one thing Akira was happy about having when he came into this world, it would be his knowledge of the series. He knew when key events were going to happen, when they were going to happen, and even events that had already happened.

It was because of this he managed to put a stop to many things, including the Liberation army, Stain, Overhaul, and the Nomu at the USJ. However, recently due to his intervention with the world, some things had obviously changed.

For starters, Izuku wasn't around in class 1A with One for All. Instead Akira didn't know where the kid was, as a few months ago he was reported missing by his distraught mother who screamed and cried for her baby to be found. Akira felt a tinge of guilt go through him when he saw her pleading for information on her son on the television.

Another thing was that due to his actions, certain events that would have played out in the original series have not, such as the attack on Hosu and the fight between the students and Stain.

He had stayed in Hosu the whole time during the internships, under the guise of wanting to help the city's growing crime rate, which he actually helped to reduce. His true motive was to kill the Nomu's released onto Hosu and capture Shigaraki and Kurogiri, but neither of them appeared.

The city slept safe that night, but two criminals continued to be free.

It was because of all of this he was curious, more like cautious if the attack on the training camp would take place. After all, he had captured Dabi, Moonfish, and Muscular, all key members of the League of Villains, so the future was shrouded with uncertainty.

It was because of this he decided to go to the training camp, as there was very much a chance the attack still would take place, and with possibly different members means different circumstances, meaning different outcomes. This meant students dying was a possibility.

"So you decided to join us because you thought it would be fun?" Aizawa asked as they both observed the students in the forest below.

"Yeah," Akira shrugged, "Aren't you happy to have me here?"

"Not particularly, no," Aizawa replied, as blunt as ever.

"Hey, Akira, a little bit of help here! These students are really strong! Especially that Bakugo and Todoroki working together!" Pixie-Bob exclaimed, her hands, or should he say paws, gripped to the ground.

"Right, right." Akira said, putting on an earth manipulation <Order> and assisting Pixiebob.

"Wow, eraser, your students really are something, what did you do to them?" Aizawa shrugged at the question, looking towards Akira, "This kid motivated them, that's what. He fought them all at the start of the year, and lit a fire in their eyes since. It's the best year I've had so far."

"You wound me Aizawa, I thought I was in your favourite year." Akira said with a sad look on his face.

"You're the only student in that year, so you don't make a compelling case." Aizawa responded.

Akira chuckled, "Obviously through no fault of your own. Well, at least I'm your favourite student, right?"

Aizawa was silent.

Akira turned his attention back to the students. They were destroying the earth monsters at a quicker rate than before, even with Akira's assistance. They were strong, Akira would give them that, but would they be strong enough to fight back an attack from Shigaraki? Only time would tell.
