"This looks like a normal place from the outside, they did a pretty good job at covering it up." Akira said as he looked at the large and dull grey building. Between the large spaces of concrete were small pockets of windows, but they were too high up and looked to be tinted to make them useful in any way possible.

"Yeah, it's a miracle we even managed to find this place." Knuckleduster said.

"So what's the plan?" Stain asked, "Do we have a plan?"

"Of course we have a plan, Stain. We go in there and shoot those pieces of shit up. Disrupting the peace of Japan comes with a price." Peacemaker said.

Akira raised an eyebrow. "Y'know, you sound like you would become a good hero Peacemaker. Any reason why you're not?"

"Well for starters, they don't let me kill people. Due to my upbringing, I am very good at killing people, it's the only thing I'm good at. I want to protect this country, but I simply can't do it the legal way for a number of reasons, so it is for that reason I will leave All

Might to protect the world one day, while I will protect it from the shadows."

"Oh great, you've got him started. Better not ask him why he doesn't do this in America. Can we just start this damn thing before he starts spewing shit?" Stain gruffed.

"Hey! I'll have you kno–"

The front door suddenly opened, a normal looking man holding a cigarette and light walking out of it. Before he could even react, he was riddled with bullet holes in his chest, while 2 knives pierced his eyes.

Knuckleduster grabbed the body, stopping it from falling and gently setting it down on the floor. "Well looks like that's our que." He joked.

"Looks like it." Peacemaker shot the body again.

"Why did you do that?" Akira questioned. The man was obviously dead.

"I don't like smokers."

Akira followed with the rest of his team as they entered the building, looking downwards so as to not step on the body. As he did that, he noticed the unused lighter, sitting on the floor, almost like it was calling to him. Picking up the lighter, he remembered another piece of media from his past life and smiled.

The silent approach was immediately found to be out of question, as the moment they entered they were attacked with a hail of bullets and projectiles from quirks. They took cover behind the large slabs of concrete scattered around the room as the bullets pierced into them, creating a hail of dust and smoke.

*CHINK*

*CHINK*

There was a small fire in the lighter that replicated the one shimmering in Akira's eyes. 'How do I do this again? From what I remember from the tv show it went something like…'

Akira left the protection of the slab of concrete, dodging the hailing of bullets. Holding his free hand above the lighter, he pushed it forward, creating a stream of fire that burned the guards alive.

"Holy fucking shit! That was bloody diabolical!" Knuckleduster called from behind his cover, looking on in shock.

"Come on, let's go. If there's this many guards, then we must be in the right place. They know we are here though, so we need to take care of them before they can flee."

They pushed further into the building, defeating the guards with a mix of lethal punches, blades, bullets and fire. Anonymous opened the secured doors digitally, and the rest of the team killed what was in the room connected to it. It was a simple process they repeated for about 30 minutes before they entered a room that was different.

The smell hit him first. It was intoxicating, poisonous like smog. He covered his nose, taking in the state of the room with wide eyes. Rusty cages were littered around the room, each of them holding a person in them. They were covered in dirt, bruises, blood and faeces, with sunken, hollow stomachs. The oldest one didn't look a day above 10.

"Knuckleduster," Akira said blankly. He clenched his fist, crushing and bending the metal, removing the kids from their cages. "Make sure the kids are ok. I'll deal with the rest."

"Are you sure? We don't know how man–"

"I'm sure, don't worry about me. If anything, you should be worried about the guards." And with that, Akira was off.

He passed through room after room, emotionlessly dispatching each guard with cold precision. Bullets bounced off of him due to his indestructible <Order>, and everything he threw was like steel, crushing bones and organs alike.

"No wait plea–" The man pleaded, but words were wind to him at this point, and Akira had already crushed his throat with his fist. The guards continued to scream, shooting bullets and projectiles of all kinds at him, but the white noise drowned it all out, and Akira only focused on a singular goal.

When Knuckleduster and the others arrived, Akira was standing in the centre of another room. Covered from head to toe in crimson, the room hailed blood. Mangled and twisted corpses were laid across the floor like a ritual, leaking colours of all kinds.

Knuckleduster placed a soft but firm hand on Akira's shoulder, snapping him out of his trance. "You ok?"

Akira silently nodded, looking at what he had done. It was weird really, he had felt nothing, nothing at all.

"Has everything been cleared?"

Knuckleduster nodded, "You took care of most of the rooms. Everything is cleared, everything but…"

"Good. Let's get these kids to safety, and possibly back to their families. No one should ever have to go through something like this. Did you find out why they were keeping them here?"

"I spoke to one of them lucky enough to survive, and said they were to keep guard of these kids for weeks, sometimes months before someone called the doctor to pick them up."

'The doctor?' Akira thought. Akira remembered his first few minutes in this world. 'The snake eyes guy mentioned someone like that, so it must mean they are connected. Kidnapping quirkless children to turn into Nomu's, that's my guess.'

He narrowed his eyes, he would pay the doctor back for this tenfold. But for now, he needed to get stronger.

(3rd person pov: Iwao/Knuckleduster)

"Can you teach me?" The words caught up with him a second after they left Akira's mouth, stopping him in his place.

Iwao turned around, looking down at the small boy clad in black with a befuddled expression, "What?"

"I asked if you could teach me."

"Teach? I appreciate the sentiment, but what can I teach you? I saw what you could do on that last mission, you have an insanely powerful quirk, whereas I'm quirkless…what do you think I can teach you?"

Invincible huffed and crossed his arms, almost like he was expecting this answer, "Having a powerful quirk isn't everything, surely you know that by now. I don't just want to rely on my quirk…I need training, proper training from someone with decades of experience. I want to learn hand to hand combat, how to properly act in certain situations, and only a man with experience can teach me. Although I've been doing this for years, I'm still an amateur compared to you."

Iwao's mood completely changed, letting out a tooth grin which showed his slightly yellow teeth, "I like the way you think kid. But if you want training…you're gonna have to show me your face. Can't have you training in that outfit, you would die of exhaustion an hour in. Are you sure you want to do it?"

The question lingered in the air, and as Invincible stood still, Iwao slowly turned around, accepting his silence for an answer. It was only when the sound of goggles hitting the floor touched his ears did he turn around.

Iwao didn't know what he expected, but Invisible just looked like any normal child. He had a set of blue hair going down to his ears and bright blue eyes which were like the ocean. His face was normal for a kid, but he could see the possibility of him being considered 'attractive' when he was older. Still, it was hard to believe that Invincible was just a kid.

"Here!" Invincible tossed a coin over to him.

"What's this?"

"It's money so you can buy a camera. If you take a picture it will last longer."

Iwao just laughed without shame, "Sorry kid, it's still hard to imagine someone like you looks like that."

"Appearances can be deceiving." Invincible glared at him, taking offence to the statement. Iwao felt he should correct himself before it went the wrong way. He wasn't prideful enough to believe he could take him in a fight.

"Don't take it the wrong way, it's just still so surreal that a little kid like yourself has so much power. I mean, no one must spare you a second glance in the streets, do you think they'd believe what you can do?"

"My names Akira, if you're wondering."

"Name's Iwao. It's nice to officially meet you kid, now are you ready for training?" Iwao grinned, cracking his fists.

He grinned at the determined nod Akira gave him.

[A/N: I'm not gonna spend much time on the 'training' arcs as Akira will go through quite a lot of them, so this is the last you'll see Knuckleduster for a while.]
