Subscribing isn't necessary, but it is greatly appreciated. Thank you to everyone who had subscribed so far, I appreciate it! February billing has been paused.

Going to be honest, I have hinted at a future romance in this chapter, but I think I left it too late in the story and haven't bothered proceeding with it. So, if your hoping for romance then you'll be dissapointed.

I have to admit I have made so many fucking mistakes with this story, mistakes I wish I could correct. From the use of New Order to romance to other aspects of the story. I'm sorry. The only thing I can do is use this as a learning experience and improve as I go along. Next story will be better written, promise. Thanks for your patience guys, enjoy the chapter.

======

When Aizawa had told Akira that he needed to get some friends he wouldn't lie and say it shocked him. Akira had friends! He had…He had…He didn't have any friends, Aizawa was right.

The only people Akira were really associated with were his teachers, such as All Might, Cathleen, Aizawa and Nezu. There were also a few other heroes he kept in contact with, both in person and on social media, but it was a stretch to call them friends rather than acquaintances. Other than that, he would say he was on good terms with the first years, but his relationship with them was more of a mentor type role rather than friends.

With all of that in mind, it made sense that Aizawa would end up introducing him to the fabled Big Three of UA. They were roughly his year, only being one year his senior all the while being strong in their own respect and aspiring to become good heroes, so they had some stuff in common.

Aizawa had gone out of his way to set up a meeting, to which Akira agreed as he really needed to make friends. So far it was going…ok. Mirio was a very energetic and bright student, acting as a mediator between all of them. He was very hardworking, and Akira respected him, especially from what was shown in the series. Akira thinked they would be very good friends.

Amakiji was very introverted, but again, from the series Akira saw a very good hero in the making. And Nejire…well she was Nejire.

They had made their way to one of the training grounds in the meantime, making small talk along the way. Due to the clear difference in their abilities with quirks, they had decided to do what men do to bond, have a good old fist fight.

"Gooooooo Mirio!!! Beat his ass!!!" Nejire cheered.

Akira ignored her, "You ready?"

"Sure am!" Mirio grinned, slamming his fists together, "Let's do this!"

"GO!" Nejire shouted. Both of them used it as a signal to start, as at the same time they ran forward towards each other. Without the use of quirks, Akira was only slightly faster, crossing 6/10 of the distance between them before they met.

Akira used a combination of the style he learned from Knuckleduster and Aizawa's style. The style was fast, unrelented, focusing on quick and powerful movements to finish off the opponent, though Mirior was no normal opponent.

Akira launched a series of jabs which Mirio reflected easily. He kept a steady guard, but the moment Akira let up on the attack, Mirio launched his assault. As evident from his fight with Isaac, Akira's reaction speed was nothing to laugh at, and it served him well, as no matter how close Mirio's tough knuckles of feet got close to him, they never touched him.

Mirio overextended with his attack, and Akira took advantage of that. Slipping into his guard, Akira's uppercut visibly dazed Mirior, the force of the attack sending him flying into the air. Akira pulled on Mirio's shirt, pulling him back into the ground.

Akira tried to punch Mirio again, but Mirio caught his fist with a grunt. Mirio slid backwards, his body leaning forward and stopping his momentum. He glanced at the palm of his wrist which was slightly red and shook it in pain.

"Still want to continue?" Akira asked.

Mirio only grinned, "You bet."

Instead of pressing the attack, both of them looked at eachother, walking in circles. Akira's eyes narrowed at Mirio, trying to search for any openings and things he could take advantage of. There was a silence in the building which cut through the air, and both Akira and Mirio didn't move for a moment, until one of them made the first move.

SWOOSH

Akira lunged forward, his body darting through the atmosphere. Knuckleduter always told him that the best offence was offence, so that is what he would do. Akira planted a significant amount of punches and kicks, each of them aimed at vital spots in the body.

The stomach, the chin, the jaw. Mirio's arms had begun to turn purple from trying to protect them. Realising defending was futile, Mirio opened his guard for a split second, something which Akira had been waiting on. Before Mirio could move to defend himself, Akira's fist was aimed straight at his jaw.

Akira realised that Mirio wouldn't be able to react a moment too late. He couldn't pull back his fist, and could only hope that Mirio would be ok after he hit him. However, instead of hitting Mirio,Akira's fist phased through Mirio's head.

They both stopped fighting immediately. Mirio rubbed the back of his head, "Sorry about that. That punch would have hurt. Since I used my quirk I guess it's your victory!"

"I guess it is. You were right to use your quirk. I only realised it a moment too late and couldn't pull my punch back. Forgive me."

"All is forgiven. It was a good match." Mirio smiled, and they both shook hands.

Akira smiled back, "I haven't been challenged like that in a long time. You will be an amazing hero in the future."

"Thank you," Mirio flashed a bright smile, "My hero name is Lemillion, I want to save a million people as a hero."

"That sounds admirable. Wanna have some friendly competition and see who can get there first?" Akira asked.

"That would be good."

Nejire ran over, followed by Amajiki who she dragged at her arm. "That was so cool! You were bam, and he was like wam! Right Amajiki?"

"Yeah," Amajiki nodded.

"If you guys want, maybe I could spar one of you guys?" Akira questioned.

Amajiki vehemently shook his head, while Nejire held a phone to her ear, "Hello?" No voice came out the other end. "Something came up, looks like I have to go guys!"

Akira gave her a blank stare, "You could have just said no."

"I have no idea what you're talking about." Nejire responded, whistling.

"Well…"Akira looked towards Amajiki and Mirio, "It's a shame Nejire has to go. I know a really good shop which sells the best ice cream in Japan. I could take you there, it would be my treat. How does that sound?"

"Amazing!"

"Yes please."

Nejire brought her phone up to her ear again, "Oh? Everything's ok now? So I don't have to go? Ok, thank you, bye!" She put her phone back in her pocket and looked towards Akira, "You said you would be treating us to ice cream, is that right?"

Akira sighed. This was one troublesome woman. He found himself being reminded of Emi and Aizawa from the provisional licence exam.
