=========================

The aftermath of the raid was carried out with professionalism and control. All the members who survived were arrested, forever imprisoned in Hades, the number two prison in Japan. It was a final insult to the Yakuza underlings that they were not worthy of being put in the best prison in Japan.

Akira also heard that All Might had taken a liking to Kendo Rappa, one of the precepts he had fought, and was sorting a few things out to try and get him released. Rappa was only a part of the Yakuza due to the boss's strength, but now that Overhaul was locked away, Rappa had no loyalty to them.

If trained to be a hero, Rappa could get into as many fights as he wanted while also saving people. Akira was impressed with All Might's altruistic nature and ability to give second chances.

Due to the volatility and uncontrollable nature of Eri's quirk, she was placed under the scrutinous gaze of Aizawa. He looked annoyed at first when he learnt he would have to take care of a child, but he was soon treating Eri to the sweetest candy apples he could.

Although there was no footage of the fight between Akira and Overhaul, it was confirmed by the heroes that Akira had been the one to defeat the Yakuza boss. When they had arrived, Akira was sitting with a sleeping Eri in his lap, telling the heroes not to make two much noise.

As for Overhaul, he was placed in Tartarus, his mind broken, forever to live a life of sadness until all of it killed him. The thought that Akira had gone overboard may have crossed his mind, but when he thought back to what he did to Eri, he quickly banished the thought.

Thankfully, Nezu wasn't as heartless as pushing the story of Eri, a little girl who needed saving from the evil Yakuza boss. Pushing Eri into the limelight while she was still recovering from the torment and abuse she suffered wouldn't have been a good thing. Even if Nezu did try and push it, Akira wouldn't allow it under any circumstances.

After the incident, he had a following of over 100,000 followers on Twotter and Instaspam, and his Herotube channel was slowly gaining in subscribers. In his freetime, Akira did really enjoy chatting with fans, and that interaction only increased his following even more.

Although his hero rank had been increasing, any major increase in the hero rankings would be changed yearly. Just like the situation in America, Japan had their own events and shows for the hero rankings. Although his rank could slowly creep up to the top 100's, 50's maybe, anything under that would be hard before the event which was due in 9 months or so.

Akira smiled as Eri woke up, rubbing her tired eyes. She looked around the room, confused until she locked eyes with Akira.

"Did you sleep well?" Akira asked.

Eri found herself nodding. "Where am I?"

"You're currently in the hospital. The doctors made sure you were ok."

"Ok?" Eri repeated, "Where's Overhaul?" She looked around the room nervously, covering up her scarred arms.

"Hey, remember that promise I told you? The pinky promise? You're safe, no one will hurt you anymore." Akira said reassuringly.

"Really?" Eri was still unconvinced, all the years of torture and abuse had moulded her into fearing Overhaul and making her mature quicker. She must have thought this was a test from Overhaul.

"I promise, I swear on my life. Overhaul is gone, forever to be imprisoned in the strongest fortress Japan had to offer. All his underlings are locked up." He lied at that last part. Rappa was most likely going to go free after some rehabilitation and training, but according to the man himself, Rappa was actually one of Eri's favourites, and the nicest person there. One quick look into his memories confirmed that.

There were tears building up in Eri's eyes, the reality of the situation slowly settling in. She was safe, free from the sadistic Overhaul who tortured her day by day. She broke down into tears, her hands covered her head as streams of water dripped down her face.

Akira wrapped his arms around the white haired child, holding her in a tight hug. "I'm truly sorry for not being able to save you sooner. But you are safe now, and if any danger ever threatens you, I will protect you from it."

And he was telling the truth. The person who did so would rue the day they did, as they would end up 6 feet in the ground.

===========================

"Ahahahaha! See you guys later, thank you for the money!" The sludge villain shouted in glee as he slid his way out of the bank with a stack full of money.

"Wow," Akira said from the rooftop, overlooking the city, "What an idiot to make his crimes known to the world."

All Might nodded, "Indeed. Let's apprehend this criminal." He paused, bringing his hand to his mouth and then suddenly began coughing.

"Are you all right, All Might?"

"Cough, yes I'm, cough, fine." He took out a bottle of water and swirled it in his mouth. When he spat it out the water was diluted red. He drank the rest of the bottle in a quick second.

"I'm fine." He reassured again, sitting down as he tried not to cough.

Akira placed a hand on his shoulder, "Go back to your skinny form and rest here. I'll catch the villain. 'I'll be back in less than 10 minutes, ok?"

All Might looked like he wanted to protest, but he slumped his shoulders as he sighed in resignation, "Ok." Akira nodded, picking up All Might's empty bottle.

Jumping from roof to roof, he kept track of the sludge villain with a keen eye as he slithered his way through alleyways, 'If the sludge villain is here, then it must mean it is this day…'

"Aahahaha! So much money, those idiots." The sludge villain said excitedly, flicking through note after note with his slimy appendages.

"Hey, how much money did you get there? Can you spare any for me?"

The sludge villain didn't look up, partially fixated with the bank notes, "Roughly around 200 thousand. And no! I stole it, so it is all mine!"

"So if I took it away from you, then it would be mine?" Akira questioned.

The sludge villain seemed to snap out of his trance and realised he had been speaking with someone. Looking up, he and Akira only made eye contact for a brief second before Akira began manipulating the slime into a bottle in his hand.

"Akir–AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" He screamed, and continued to scream until his mouth was squashed into the glass contained.

"Well, let's return this to the police station." He sent a mocking look towards the sludge villain who was stuck in the bottle, 'No trying to take over kid's bodies this time buddy.'

He handed in the bottle and returned to the rooftop 5 minutes later. All Might still sat there in his skinny form, watching the vibrant town from below. He glanced towards Akira, "You get him?"

Akira smiled and gave a thumbs up, "You bet."

"Take a seat next to me, there's something I wish to tell you."

"Ummm, ok." Akira did as All Might asked, taking a seat right beside him. They both looked at the city below them for some time before All Might began speaking.

"I'm sure you're curious about what my quirk is right? I've always dodged the question in interviews with well-timed jokes and quips, and always kept my answers vague, so no one knows. The name of my quirk is…" All Might paused, as if he struggled to say the words because they carried so much weight, "One for all."

"One for all…" Akira repeated.

All Might nodded, "One for all. Even among quirks, it is extremely unique, a one of its kind. The true nature of this quirk is that it is a stockpiling quirk, however along with that, the quirk can also be transferred from user to user. The reason I got so strong is because this quirk has the culmination of over 7 different users. The reason I am telling you this is because…I want you to be the next user of the quirk Akira."

"Wow…" Akira was surprised. He never thought he would even be considered as a successor due to his past, but it seems he was wrong.

New Order and One for All, the amount of power he would have would be…unimaginable. Power corrupts, that was a popular saying in both this and Akira's previous world, and although Akira believed he wouldn't be corrupted, just imagining himself having that much power…it would spell disaster if he ever turned evil, be it due to another quirk's influence, a loss of control, or a series of unfortunate events.

With Akira's answer clear, he turned to All Might, "I appreciate the offer All Might, I really do, but just to even imagine myself with that much power…the situations I think of never end well. Are you really sure about giving all of this power to one person? I could destroy the world if I wished with New Order and One for All."

"I have taken that into consideration, but I still believe you can be a worthy successor, to both the number one spot and my quirk." All Might replied resolutely.

"Really?" Akira sighed. "You start UA as a teacher next year right? If you can't find anyone truly worthy of your power in that year, then I will take your quirk, ok? It's a huge amount of power under my fingertips."

After a short moment, All Might nodded, "Ok. If you ever change your mind, just tell me. You already have the training to master most of the quirk straight away, so you won't even need any preparation. It would be a process that would take less than a day." He informed him.

"I will. Thank you for telling me this All Might, it means a lot. Your secret is safe with me."
