Takemikazuchi's family tree!

Years passed smoothly for Grint and Merlin. There weren't many of the troubles that they had faced.

"Merlin!" Grint yelled as a teen Merlin walked down.

"Yeah, need something, Grint?" Merlin asked, and she couldn't take her eyes off of a huge cardboard box behind Grint.

"Well... Happy Birthday!" Grint said as he moved aside and pointed towards the cardboard box behind him. "It has been 12 years since I found you and you helped me a lot these years and the people to and I thought you want to be a crime fighter and so I asked a kid I know to make this suit."

Merlin curiously observed the box.

Then a blue crystal dagger came out of thin air and cut through the tape of the box. Merlin fell in love with a suit at first glance.

"You like it?" Grint asked, and seeing Merlin's face, put a smile on his face.

"ho-how did you get my measurements?" Merlin asked with a cold face.

"T-th-that I... I stole your clothes! I am sorry!"

Merlin giggles. "Well, next time just ask me I don't mind giving my measurements. Just don't take my clothes... That would be embarrassing."

"Yes, ma'am!" Grint said as he started laughing loudly.

--->Night arrives

"So... you sure you want to go out today?" Grint asked while looking at his watch.

"Yeah. I want to try the suit and villains fear me more than you and I want to make sure that my name is as threatening to villains as it was." Merlin said as she stood beside Grint with her suit. It was a purple and black themed body-tight suit that covered her entirely except for the face and yet showed her voluptuous body's curves.

"That is mean you know," Grint said with a dark face as he couldn't take those words of truth.

"Well, I am off first!" Merlin jumped off the 30 floored high building.

"How is she not scared of heights?" Grint jumped next.

As Merlin was free-falling, a blue and gold great sword of a meter width appears beside her, and in a second, it zooms down and attaches to Merlin's feet.

*Zoom*

As if inertia wasn't applying on her body Merlin who was free-falling, turns her body 90degrees and zooms up, defying the gravity.

"Ah come on!" Grint's gauntlets glowed fiercely as they started covering his body like a suit.

"DRAGON'S MODE!!!" Grint yells as his suit enlarges and morphs into a golden dragon.

"ROAAOR!!!" Grint flaps his wings fiercely.

The air pressure released by Grint's dragon form was able to shake the surrounding buildings.

Grint caught up to Merlin as they both started scouting the area without caring what others thought about them.

After 2 hours of flying, they couldn't find a single criminal outbreak.

"Seems like the villains have taken a day off today in Birmingham." Grint's voice was detorted in his dragon form.

"I am gonna stab you!" Merlin summoned tens of sticks which started poking Grint, who was in his dragon form.

"*Huff* Puny things like those can't harm me." Grint let a puff of air like a steam engine.

"Of course I do, if I materialised swords or any other sharp weapons it would pierce right through you," Merlin said in a bored tone as she fell plop on her meter-wide great sword.

"T-that... *sigh*" Grint couldn't even speak back. He knew that Merlin's powers were one of the strongest powers. Her quirk 'Thought/ Image materialisation' could materialise anything Merlin wanted.

She even summoned a dragon's scale, which Grint had no clue about.

Grint, as if he sensed something, looked towards his right and saw a flash of light.

"Merlin I think I found an outbreak I am going ahead!" Grint flapped his wings and sped through the sky.

"Hey wai-" Merlin was about to complete it, but she was already 100 meters in front of Grint. "Never mind. Catch up Grint!"

Grint was astonished by the speeds 'From when was she able to travel at such high speeds? I am pretty sure she was always travelled at speed of sound but this is on a higher level!.'

Merlin was about 100 meters away from the flashing zone.

'Something is amiss...' Merlin couldn't see anyone, but wherever she moved, the flash was pointed towards her direction.

Merlin descended and walked towards the flash. "This is a powerful flash light." Merlin saw the source of it, but she now knew that someone else was here, pointing the flashlight at her.

"Got you!" A man dressed in a black spandex suit lunged at Merlin with a katana.

Merlin sidestepped and kneed the man on his gut.

"Seriously?" Merlin walked towards the man and uncover his mask. "Atsushi? What are you even trying to do?!"

"Senior Merlin, you are strong as always... *ouch*" The man was a teen kid who was a year or two younger than Merlin.

Atsushi had jet-black medium spiked hair and red eyes, and a clear handsome face.

"So... care to explain?" Merlin materialised two chairs.

"I-I... father!" Atsushi cried as he sat on his knees and touched his forehead on the floor.

"Father?" Merlin was confused. "I am not your father."

"No!" Atsushi's tears were about to burst out. "I lost contact with my father yesterday after he delivered a suit to Grint... and while on his way back home he was..." Atsushi eyes were bloodshot. "Killed."

Atsushi was oozing out killing intent.

"I see." Merlin then kneeled down and patted Atsushi's head.

"I know who murdered him, but... I have no power to take him down." Atsushi said as his forehead was still stuck to the floor.

"Huh" Merlin was now curious as to who would have murdered Atsushi's father, Asahi.

"They popped up after you left for your studies, an Irish mafia. They ambushed my father and killed him. The only thing I inherited from him was his sword which was beside his corpse." Atsushi looked at Merlin. "Senior Merlin, if you and Grint could help me take them down I Atsushi Takemikazuchi will owe you my life!"

"Calm down will you," Merlin said as a pair of gauntlets materialised and lifted Atsushi and placed him on the chair, Merlin materialised before. "You don't have to owe your life," Merlin said, shaking her head.

"Then... I have nothing I can trade with you." Atsushi said with a depressed voice. "I am not skilled like my father at sewing suits, nor good at swords like him nor good at studies... I am just weak and usel-" *Slap*

The slap echoed throughout the empty floor.

"Never say you are useless." Grint, who slapped Atsushi, said with anger. "Asahi is a man to who I owe my life, he saved me countless times and he shall be avenged, but the one who has to do it shall be you, not us."

"Huh?" Atsushi looked at Merlin and Grint.

"We will help you to avenge him," Grint said with a smile on his face.

Merlin stood beside Atsushi with a smile. 'He is a kind kid.'

"I don't understand," Atsushi said with tears flowing out of his eyes.

"Merlin here shall train you," Grint said, pointing his towards Merlin.

"Me? I have no clue about those curved swords, I have never seen such a design and besides, I have no clue as to why they are curved other than for fashion sense." Merlin, without Atsushi's knowing, took the swords as she was speaking and inspected it.

"This one is better than the swords found these days, but why make it curved?"

"I don't know." Atsushi had little to no idea about the swords, then he turned towards Merlin and slapped his forehead on the floor. "But, please teach me your sword style!"

"Huh? It isn't that easy, and are you sure you are up for it?" Merlin asked, and for some odd reason, Atsushi felt a shiver down his spine.

"Yes, senior Merlin!"

Oki, who was reliving Merlin's memories, was stunned by the events.

'He is not Yami Takemikazuchi, so he is not my grandfather. Could he be my great grandfather? Or someone from my family?'

Years passed on, and Oki saw everything of Merlin's life. It was moving smoothly, as if the rest of her life would be peaceful.

But, Oki knew that it wouldn't go as such.

He saw the events where Merlin and Atsushi bonded the love between Grint and a woman named Eliza.

He saw the event where Atsushi pickup his guts and asked Merlin to be his wife which she agreed.

Merlin made so much wealth that it was practically enough for forty people to live lavishly for their lifetime. He saw the birth of Yami Takemikazuchi and also his training by Merlin.

Though Merlin and Atsushi were kind of sad at the beginning that their kid didn't inherit any of their quirks but was quirkless in this danger-filled world.

But, it was only at the beginning as they soon found out that Yami was born with the intellect and fitness of Merlin. He was so good that at the age of 10, he defeated Merlin in a sword fight who was using the same strength as Yami. Merlin was proud of Yami, and so was Atsushi, but things started to change.

The Takemikazuchi's thought of moving to Japan and which they did, but after that-

Atsushi passed away due to a heart attack, while Grint died due to a villain attack.

Merlin adopted Grint's two children Sylvie Pendragon and Ingris Pendragon.

Life went smoothly for Merlin until a villain attacked their house. The one Oki was familiar with.

'All For one'

Merlin had a fierce match, but the AFO was still not strong or adapt with multiple quirks, and he had to run with his tail in between his legs.

Merlin was met with a fatal wound.

'I have to protect them, my children!' Those were Merlin's thoughts.

She materialised a silver liquid and started drawing something Oki was familiar with.

'The Soul Transmutation Circle!' Oki was familiar with it as this was one of the lost magic Merlin discovered but never passed to people. The drawback of this magic was that it needed more than 11 sacrifices.

She drew the circle with the silver liquid and her blood.

Merlin materialised 30 different materials she knew from her past life. She made 11 weapons, each with 49% of her soul and materials she materialised.

She wanted to make two exquisite weapons. One that would keep balance against the other.

She used 9 materials and divided her 25% soul into an exquisite white double-bladed sword and another 25% of her soul,10 materials, and Atsushi's Katana into a plain single blade katana.

"Yami", Merlin said weakly as she looked at her unconscious 14 year old child. "Grow well, and this is all I could give you. Though you may know it, mom always loved you the dearest and I enjoyed my life, it was a good one and I hope you will have one too."

Merlin placed the blade near Yami and weakly walked towards Sylvie and Ingris.

She saw that Ingris was conscious but dazed while Sylvie was unconscious.

"Ingris, take care of this weapon." Merlin handed the 14 year old boy a double-bladed white sword.

"Mother? What are you saying?" Ingris couldn't hear properly.

"Its name is Ex-Calibur. Take care of yourself and your sister."

Ingris saw that Merlin was slowly fading out of existence.

"No! Mother stay with us!" Ingris didn't know what was happening but knew that Merlin was dying.

Merlin walked weakly towards the centre of the transmutation circle and made changes to it.

'I hope this works,' Merlin, with the last amount of her power, materialised a blue liquid which she drank. 'Please work'

Merlin felt mana inside of her.'It worked!'

She channelled the little mana out towards the transmutation circle. The circle started to be erased, and slowly the same transmutation circle in which the mana had taken shape appeared in front of her.

"I Eqirr- no... I Merlin Takemikazuchi! Titled as 'The Grand Sage' in my previous life! I ask the gods to direct these weapons to the ones that are worthy." Merlin spoke in Astrean tongue, and her eyes went dark. 'I had a beautiful second life... I thank you God's for granting a life without... regrets.'

'No, I wish I could see them grow up... well, alas I am happy with it.'

Ingris, who stood their could only watch as the only mother he had known faded out of existence.

"MOTHER!!!"

(A/N)- I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter, and here ends Merlin's back story and also the beginning of the new Oki Takemikazuchi. (I thought of detailing the fight but then I thought it was unnecessary, but in case you guys want to read the fight I will upload the fight in auxiliary volume.)
