220 Rescue

After what had happened before, no one stayed in the hospital.

It was the same as Midoriya and Bakugou. The two walked home as they lowered their heads. Their heads were in a mess, and their bodies were heavy. Whether it was their bodies, minds, or hearts, they were constantly tortured by guilt.

What if they didn't move?

What if they followed their teacher's words?

What if they didn't come?

There were many "ifs" in their heads, but they knew the decision they had made was a mistake, and it caused a mistake that they couldn't redeem.

A hero is someone who helps someone in need, yet what they do is nothing but try to endanger the people around them.

Bakugou clenched his fists in frustration while wondering what would happen to Mineta. He had an experience being caught by the villain, and he understood the horror of it, yet Mineta's situation was the worst.

'Dammit! Dammit!'

All he wanted to do was to become the number one hero, yet why did everything become like this?!

He thought that he was the best and he was fated to stand above everyone, yet right now, he understood he was just a clown!

While Bakugou was frustrated by his incompetency, Midoriya started to question whether it was alright for him to become the inheritor of One-For-All. He wanted to become the next symbol of peace, becoming the next All-Might, yet all he did was all talk. He was nothing, and he also made his friend enter such a dangerous situation.

Midoriya wanted to talk to All-Might, yet All-Might had never called or talked with him.

Nothing.

'Has he disappointed in me?'

Such a thought crossed his mind, which made him clench his fists became tighter.

Watching All-Might save 250 people without missing and still having a smile on his face made Midoriya long to become a hero, yet it was a useless dream since he didn't have a Quirk.

However, hope appeared at the beginning of his 3rd year of middle school.

Everything changed.

He could become a hero, and he also became the inheritor of All-Might.

Everything was in place, he gained a Quirk, which he longed for, yet the reality was different from his imagination. He thought everything could be so smooth since he got the power of All-Might, the strongest (in his mind) and the number one hero, yet the truth was different.

He hit the walls several times, and he realized how useless he was, especially at the training camp.

He was in tears and wondered what he should do.

Was he worthy for him to have this power?

Was he worthy of becoming the inheritor of All-Might?

Was he worthy of becoming the symbol of peace?

The dream he had longed for had crumbled.

He didn't know what to do and hoped All-Might could answer this question.

However, All-Might didn't have time to talk with Midoriya since he wanted to save Mineta.

Mineta was a rare young man whose heart was filled with justice and who wished everyone could live in peace happily. Yet such a young man was no longer there. He was caught by the villains.

If Mineta was only caught, All-Might might be able to calm himself, yet when he knew the reason why Mineta was captured by the villains, it made him lose his calm. He wanted to save Mineta as soon as possible, and he didn't think of other things. He even forgot about Midoriya, the boy who had moved his heart and someone he thought to become his inheritor and the next symbol of peace.

The next symbol of peace?

If this person couldn't even think, using his head, what kind of danger he had caused, All-Might thought that he had made the wrong decision in the past.

However, this wasn't the time to think about all of that.

"Thank you all for coming." All-Might looked at the heroes who had come to help.

"It's okay. It's unstylish to let the villain do whatever they want." Best Jeanist fixed his bangs as he looked at All-Might.

Edge didn't say anything, only closed his eyes as if he were concentrating on something.

"Let's get to the main point. Do you know where he is?" Endeavour asked as his flame grew stronger. The thought of Mineta disappearing made him restless since his existence was necessary to push Todoroki further. It definitely had nothing to do with the fact that he was worried about him or anything.

It might be surprising, but the heroes who came were all famous heroes who were related to Yuuei.

All-Might, Endeavor, Edge, and Best Jeanist were all alumni of Yuuei.

On the other hand, there were also many other top pro heroes who were also related to Yuuei, such as Mountain Lady, Kamui Woods, and also all the members of Pussycats except for Tsuchikawa, who was in critical condition.

Tomoko, Shino, and Chatora were there, and they were ready to save Mineta as they had saved him.

Yet, more importantly, Ryukyu also came even though she didn't seem to have a relationship with Yuuei. However, when everyone heard that Mineta was an intern in her hero's office, she understood why she came.

Meanwhile, Ryukyu didn't care about them since she was more cornered about her master.

"Yes, it is all thanks to Yaoyorozu-girl that she put a tracker on Nomu, which made us know their location perfectly." All-Might then looked at Naomasa, the police, and said, "Naomasa, there are two locations, right?"

"Yes." Naomasa nodded. "We have located another place, and this should be where they keep Mineta." He knew Mineta well, and he didn't want such a bright and kind young man to fall this early. He also wanted to see him grow since he knew Mineta would become a great hero.

Whether it was the police, the heroes, Yuuei, including the Yaorozu family, and also all of his fans were working hard at this moment since they had decided to give their all to save him.

Still, when they were finished with the strategic meeting, All-Might suddenly stopped Naomasa. "Naomasa, can I you a request? No, it should also be Nezu's request too."

"What's wrong?" Naomasa was confused.

"This battle... I can feel that it will be different from any other battle that I will fight. I... I might die here."

"Yana—"

"Stop!" All-Might quickly stopped Naomasa. "Let me finish my words!"

Naomasa looked at All-Might in a complicated mood since he could see that All-Might had decided to go all out, even if he would perish in this battle.

"This evil has to disappear, or else our peace will disappear, so I will ask you to make a request to the Hero Public Safety Commission."

"The Hero Public Safety Commission? Why do you want me to go there?" Naomasa was confused.

"It's..."

As All-Might said at his request, Naomasa's expression changed, but he nodded. "Leave it to me."

Everyone started to move, and their objective was to save Mineta!

---

While All-Might and the others were doing their all to save Mineta, all the students of Yuuei had returned to their houses, except for a few girls who had slipped out to save Mineta.

Midoriya was in his house, lifelessly lying on the sofa.

Inko Midoriya looked at her son worriedly as she cried and didn't know what to do.

Someone like Midoriya wasn't the only one, and most of the students of the Yuuei were in a similar state.

However, when they saw the television, their expression changed since they saw Aizawa, Vlad, and Nezu standing before their seats on the chair, facing many reporters as they started their apology by bowing their heads.

By this point, Midoriya realized what kind of chain reactions his reckless actions had led to.
