Battle Trial-2

Justin really thought about just, rocking Bakugo's ringer right away and taking him out of the fight early, but he needed to do as he promised.

He gave the boy a chance to show off his fighting style, the explosions, and how he responded to someone who outclassed him in trained martial arts. How even despite his 'advantage' in mobility and overall damage. Justin was still showing him up purely because he kept calm and trained properly.

In the overwatch room, All Might stood there with the biggest grin on his face, not like normal when he just had it up. This one was genuine as he couldn't hold himself back from grinning.

Ojiro suddenly spoke up, his arms crossed as his tail absently swayed behind him. ''Justin's got some extreme martial arts training... He's also seamlessly switching between styles to keep Bakugo on his toes. Mixing both hard and soft strikes of each martial art, while also using mix arts and what looks to be his own martial arts.''

Uraraka grinned, she was standing next to the girls more as they all chatted about who would win.

''Justin's been training in martial arts since he was 4 and a half years old. The orphanage he grew up in offered free classes, and then once he became 10 he began to work with my father at the construction site, he still trained even when he was working, lifting, and breaking concrete with his bare hands, he really helped meet a lot of sudden dead ends, getting everyone nice holiday bonuses.''

Suddenly, Kirishima punched his knuckles together, sparks flying as he roared. ''URARAKA, LET ME WORK AT YOUR COMPANY TOO!"

She didn't even hesitate to respond as she smiled. ''Of course! We actually just started the Horizen project downtown thanks to Moomoo!''

Momo beamed when she heard her nickname be used, the inside of her brain cheering as she was steadily on the path to having all the friends she could.

''HELL YEAH!" Kirishima pumped his arms in the air.

Ojiro nodded his head slightly. ''It would be good training for all of us... Construction workers use muscles we're not used to, especially when lifting. I'm sure we could all find something to do.''

Everyone began to nod, everyone, having a reason of their own to join... Even if a few of those reasons were to see the guys possibly sweaty and shirtless, which was not Osha-regulated... But they could look past that... right?

Uraraka cackled softly to herself, employees gained, Justin was right when he said it was that easy.

Momo noticed the cackle and smiled while she shook her head, her head turning back to look at the screen as she focused on battle.

---------------------------------------------

''Man, I am nervous,'' Ida said, thanking his costume design as it helped hide his features and the fact the inside was temperature regulated so he didn't sweat too much.

Even as he heard the explosions going off he worried. It must be Justin keeping Bakugo occupied, right? Midoriya still had problems controlling his quirk, so it was unlikely he'd last in a frontal confrontation with...

Ida looked up as the lights suddenly went out, it didn't affect him too much, since the large window behind him let natural light in, but he heard the explosions get much fiercer in response to the lights going off.

He did a few light stretches, watching the door as he got ready.

There was another explosion, quite close to the edge of the building, he heard a window shatter because of it.

''Thank god we're the villains this time... I would hate to see the paperwork the hero has to write up if they were breaking all this property...''

''I can agree with you, Ida..."

Ida's hair stood up on end as he suddenly turned around to an open window, Midoriya stood there, the light of the outside illuminating his shadow, Ida froze on the spot.

Something about Midoriya had changed... He wasn't sure what it was, but the way he was staring at Ida was like he was staring at an actual villain, one he wouldn't mind putting down if he needed to.

The way his eyes glowed green beneath his mask only made it worse.

As Midoriya took a step forward, Ida took a hesitant step backward, before he heard the soft crinkle of paper, suddenly turning to look at the hand on the bomb.

All Might's voice boomed over the speakers. ''The heroes have won, Young Midoriya has gotten his hands on the bomb, resulting in their victory, and Young Bakugo has been captured.''

Justin's voice suddenly spoke up from the doorway. Causing Ida to turn and see him holding a thrashing Bakugo in red tendrils.

''Give up Villian, we have the place surrounded!'' Justin said with serious conviction in his voice.

There was a few moments of silence before there was a suppressed laugh from Midoriya, that making the tension crumble instantly as they all suddenly burst into laughter.

Ida was laughing, but he wondered how Midoriya had changed so rapidly, so he walked over to ask. ''Midoriya? I don't mean to sound rude, but how did you go from... Well, being shy and a stuttering mess, to that?''

Midoriya's cheeks lit up as he blushed hard, rubbing at the back of his head as he smiled goofily, his mask having been taken off. ''Well, Justin gave me one hell of a pep talk... And slapped me, and after thinking about his words for a bit... I made a vow, to never hesitate. Not when it's time to be a Hero.''

''How'd you get in?'' Ida asked, looking out the window.

''Justin lead Bakugo to the edge of the building, I knew you were smart, so when Bakugo went to do a big hit in frustration, I used the change to break through the window from below. Once I got up here... Well, the windows were open come to find out, so I didn't need to break in.''

Justin chuckled as he began to walk over, lifting Midoriya and Ida off their feet as he simply jumped from the top floor down to the ground below. Setting them down once he landed. ''Sounds like someone's got the paperwork for property damage... I wonder if I could make Aizawa do it?''

''Don't Young Justin... He already hates the effort he puts in now, if he has to make mock paperwork, he might quit.''

No one. Could argue that point, not a single person.
