6 Successor

Another building near them was burned down by an explosion caused by one of the Nomus. Multiple buildings were being burned down as well as the homes of many families. 

Many heroes, including Eira, and Yu were pulling the fire hydrants as they ran towards the cause of the havoc. 

"Eira, are you ready?" Yu asked, there was a hint of concern in her tone. 

"Same old, same old. Just like old times." Eira replied. 

"Alright then, let's do this."

Yu turned into her gigantic form with Eira standing on her shoulder. 

"Do you see anything?"

"More than enough."

Eira raised her hand in the air, multiple icicles in the air. With a swing, the icicles all honed to their targets, and pierced multiple brains of the Nomu at once. 

"Keep going, Yu. I can see everything from your shoulder, not a single Nomu will escape my eyesight." Eira said. 

Yu nodded and continued to walk through the city, being careful not to hurt any citizens, and knock down any buildings due to her gigantic size. 

Dozens of razor-sharp icicles were constantly honing in on the Nomus that seemed to repeatedly spawn. Rather than solely focus on the Nomu, she formed glaciers of ice on the burning buildings to stop it from spreading more. 

As her eyes wandered through the city, something familiar caught her eye. A figure with bandages around his head and wielded a sharp katana. 

"I'll be right back, Yu. There's something I have to deal with." 

"Okay, just come back once you're finished, and stay safe." 

"Don't worry about me, worry about the three students that are fighting Stain. Let's just hope I make it in time."

With that being said, Eira formed a sheet of ice on the ground, and easily slid through the chaotic city.

"Did you never notice? You're being too focused on your quirk! You're too careless!"

Stain's blade was a couple inches away from Todoroki's neck when suddenly, icicles erupted from the ground, forcing Stain to jump away. 

'Zero!' Midoriya, Ida, and Todoroki thought. 

"You seemed to be careless too, if you were not a second faster. These spikes of mine would've pierced a hole through your stomach." 

Eira's figure was finally seen when the ice broke down. 

"Zero, get out of my way." Stain said with disdain. 

"Unfortunately for you, I can't do that. These students are the future and you'll get to them when you get past me, that's if you get past me." Eira said, an ice katana forming in her hand. 

"They're the future? See the truth, Zero. They use their quirks for their own selfish desires, many filled with endless greed. They world of heroes should be thankful towards me, I'm doing their deep cleanse for them. I'm sure you understand that, after all, the nickname Hero Killer is not also given to me." 

Eira frowned as Stain gave her a wide grin. 

"It is also bound to you." 

Once Stain finished the sentence, Eira dashed forward with the katana in her hand, and swung her blade multiple times. 

Stain was an experienced katana user, reading, and blocking her attacks was enough. However, the power behind Eira's attacks were causing him to struggle a bit, but sheer power alone wasn't going to bring him down. 

"What are you thinking of, Stain? You're becoming more and more careless." Eira said.

In a blink of an eye, multiple streaks of blade wounds spread across Stain's arms, chest, and legs. The swinging of the blade wasn't comprehensible to the three students that were watching in awe. 

Eira grinned, "You better take this seriously or else the life that you hold so dear will be taken by me. A better version of you!" 

Stain gritted his teeth and kicked Eira directly in the stomach causing her to fly backwards. He took this chance and dashed forward, hoping to cut her at least once to make her unable to move by using the powers of his quirk. 

When his blade was in range, Stain saw the slight grin on Eira's expression. 

"Let it freeze, all of it." 

Ice started to spread throughout the floor, the side of the buildings, and eventually covered almost the entire alleyway they were in. The temperature around them started to decrease faster and faster to the point where it was below freezing temperature. 

Snowflakes started to appear from how cold it was alone.

Eira could see her own breath, though the cold didn't bother her at all. 

"Now, truly, I am Absolute Zero." 

In a split second, Stain was smashed into the wall with a layer of ice covering him, rendering him unable to move. He seemed to struggle for a second before finally giving up. Eira waited for about a minute before making sure everyone was alright. 

Numerous heroes have gathered around them to check their situation, but everyone was fine, for now that is. 

"Midoriya, Todoroki, and Ida. Are you all alright?" Eira asked. 

"Yes, thanks to you showing up. Thank you!" Midoriya exclaimed with a bow. 

"Thank you for saving me." Todoroki said. 

"...thank you for your help." Ida said. 

Eira gave him a smile and patted him on the shoulder, "If I recall, your older brother never had that expression on his face. So you as well should never carry that expression around either."

Ida's eyes widened before nodding. 

Eira watched as everyone was cleaning up the scene, she had removed the ice she created earlier to make everything easier for the heroes. As for Stain, he was tied up in a rope. 

When everything just seemed to be going fine, a Nomu had suddenly appeared in the sky, and swiftly took away Midoriya using its speed from the wings on its back. 

Eira had prepared an icicle to throw at Nomu when something strange caught her eye. The Nomu suddenly stopped flapping its wings like something binded it, that's when Eira noticed it. 

Stain had escaped the ropes somehow and obtained the blood of Nomu. Swiftly, he jumped onto Nomu's back, and pierced his blade through the brain of the monster. Ultimately saving Midoriya. 

"This society has become overgrown with fake heroes and the criminals who abuse their powers idly should all be purged." Stain said. 

Eira dissipated the icicle in the sky. 

Everyone was left speechless. 

Out of all the heroes, not one of them moved. Yet the villain that they had been trying so hard to capture was the first one to do so. They all felt a strange feeling in their hearts. 

Suddenly, the air was filled with a deep killing intent. 

It all came from Stain. 

"You all are fake heroes…I will make things right." Stain muttered. With each step, his killing intent became stronger, and stronger. It affected even the strongest heroes like Endeavor and even Gran Torino. 

Eira took a step forward and stood in front of all of the pro heroes. With the katana in her hand, she was ready for any attack. 

"Someone will be dyed in blood, I must take back what it means to be a hero!" Stain exclaimed. 

Some heroes were starting to fall on the neck and were grasping their throats. While some of the pro heroes who were more experienced also found it harder to breathe. 

"Come and try me, you fake heroes! The only one I will let take my life is All Might!" Stain yelled before pointing his blade at Eira. "And you! Zero!" 

Stain dashed forward at Eira, however, before he could swing his blade. His eyes rolled all the way back and his figure completely froze. 

Eira frowned, Stain's neck was only a few inches away from her blade. 

"Shame, it was going to be a clean kill." she muttered. 

With that, the night ended. 

And the world of heroes was about to undergo a deep change.
