16 Chapter 16 : Battle Trial 4

Huff Huff.

Yuta was out of breath by now. He was holding on his own against Bakugo without using his quirk for the last 2 minutes. It doesn't sound like much but in reality, that was already a big deal. 

'Damn, I feel just like Izuku from the anime right now. Even after having the power to one-shot this explosion bastard, I can't do it. Deku wasn't able to becuase he would pretty much bang up his entire arm with one shot. I can't becuase I need that freaking reward.

It should be some fucking good reward after going through all this.' Yuta muttered to himself with agitation on his face.

He saw Bakugo getting ready for another attack and grim. His new Hero costume was already burned and torn by that madman's explosions. 

But then his eyes widen like saucers. Bakugo didn't just extend his hand, his other hand also went for a small pin in the grenade-like gloves he was wearing.

"I have enough of you. Why you are not using your power, you bastard. You think that you can win against me without your quirk." Bakugo shouted.

Yuta knew what this madman was trying to do. This was one of the aces he has up his sleeves. A very powerful attack which almost one shot Deku back in the anime. 

Yuta panic.

"No Young Bakugo don't do it. That way to dangerous," All Might from the side shouted. In the anime, Bakugo really went ahead and did it. But here he was hesitating. He was angry at Yuta for not using his quirk, and confused like others on why he wasn't using it. 

So to push Yuta, he acted like he would be using one of his gloves.

Although this was not more than a phrase for Bakugo but for Yuta, he was panicking. Rocking his brain to get a way out of this. Time slowed down for him like every second was stretching, and with each second he was thinking of many ways to stop Bakugo. But nothing came to his mind. 

"Young Bakugo, I will be forced to stop this match mid-way if you don't put down your hand," All Might shouted from the side. Unlike in the anime, All Might here was thinking straight and knew that it would be very dangerous for Bakugo to use that level of attack inside a building. 

Dum.

While this was happening, Both Bakugo and Yuta heard something. 

Dum.

Dum.

Dum. DUM DUM DUM...

That's when Yuta felt it, his heart started to beat with intense power and speed, and there were trembles inside his entire chest. If the lack of chest pain or breathing problem wasn't there then he would have thought that he had a heart disease. 

DUM. DUM. DUM.

'Damn, are the drum of liberation finally about to play ?' He could feel that his perception was getting faster like the world around him turned into 0.75x speed. 

But it was not Yuta who was the most surprised. It was people around him. 

Bakugo and the people watching him through cameras. There was a chill running in their back. Yuta's heartbeat was making them feel a sense of danger which they never have experienced. A foreboding feeling started to appear on their faces. 

Bakugo's eyes shook, and his extended arm was trembling, it was like the light itself was bending around the person standing in front of him. 

"Dammit, he is the one totally battered and wounded. So why I am trembling ?" 

Their throats were dry, no sound came out of their mouths. Even someone like All Might was shaken at this time. He suddenly felt like he was fighting All For One. 

There was no evil feeling but the pressure was the same, like the person standing in front of him was the biggest threat he had ever faced. 

Yuta only weirded out by the strange beating of his heart and the sound, was the first one to snap out of the shock and saw Bakugo completely shaken. That was when he recognized it. 

"King's Engine," Yuta said with a little surprise. He almost forgot that King Engine is not only a sign that he is excited but also in a very comedic way, it acts like Conqueror's Haki. Making others extremely nervous and breaking their wills.

"This is my chance," Yuta perked up. Suddenly the fighting intent inside him rose. 

[King Engine: Activates when excited in any kind of conflict. Increase Blood flow and fighting spirit. Low-Level Conquror's Haki effect]

Yuta knew that this was the only chance he gonna get. So he got ready. With all of his might, and increased power in his body, he ran. Ran towards Bakugo. This time, he knew how would Bakugo act. 

Bakugo being caught off guard immediately acted, the fear in his heart wasn't gone but he was now in a much better state than the momentary shock he felt for a few seconds. But still, Yuta caught him off guard and rather than thinking, he did the most natural reaction his body could come up with.

Bakugo naturally once again extended his hand to fire a blast, but Yuta was faster this time around, knowing how Bakugo would react after fighting him for the last two minutes.

Yuta knew that he would either again raise his right hand to fire a blast, most likely he gonna do this or he would make the distance between them. Later would be the wise choice but he just don't have enough time to think. 

And it is exactly what Yuta thought. Bakugo raises his right hand to blast at him. A slight smirk appears on Yuta's face. 

Just like Izuku in anime, Yuta precisely calculated Bakugo's movements and grabbed his hand. With a full-body toss, he went all Brock Lesnar here and threw out Bakugo to his surprise. 

But that's not where he stopped. He still was holding one of Bakugo's hands, twisting it and earning a very satisfying grown from the boy. Yuta once again grabs Bakugo before the explosion boy go on another explosion.

And this time it was an entire body toss, Bakugo directly hitting his head on the floor.

BAAM.

A complete knockout.
