Chapter 11: Feedback

I completely blasted Tokoyami out of the building and then immediately tried to stand straight without falling over, hoping to not fall over and having to get out of Gear 3.

I looked down to see Dark Shadow, having blocked the shot for Tokoyami, but Tokoyami still took a large amount of damage.

He barely stood up with his hands on his knees, looking extremely tired.

"Tokoyami-San, give up. If you stay down, I won't have to use that attack again. Also, now that we are in the open your Dark Shadow is at its weakest." I said.

Tokoyami seemed a bit conflicted, but eventually sighed since he saw Dark Shadow whining about not wanting to attack anymore.

After I put the white tape around him, I heard All Might shout.

"Winner, team villains!"

Then, a stretcher brought Koda back to the infirmary, while Tokoyami himself walked there.

Koda also asked the birds to not attack while on the stretcher.

I then got out of Gear 3, becoming a mini version of myself, then got out of Gear 2.

Jiro and I then walked back to the place where the rest of the students were, while she asked me, " Luffy-San, is this a negative effect of overusing your quirk?"

I tried to keep up with her pace in walking, as I replied," Well, I would like to keep my abilities a bit more of a secret, but yes you could say so."

I didn't need anyone but the teachers knowing about the drawbacks to my Gears. Especially the students, since a mole was among them and I didn't want anyone to slip up and screw me over in my future fights.

"What do you think about this match? The villains won, why was Luffy the most valued player?" All Might asked, to which momo raised her hand and started to explain.

"It was because he was able to successfully take down both villains fairly quickly. He also demonstrated wit, since he was able to figure out Tokoyami's quirks and…beat him out of the building." She explained.

"Right, I agree. However, Young Luffy, you should remember that while the main part of your task was to either capture or delay the Hero's, you could have destroyed the building with your large strength attacks so be careful.

And, Young Luffy you should also learn to track what your opponent is doing when you are capturing their teammates. Villains have a tendency of being slippery and running away at any given time. You did the good thing by taking care of Young Koda first, so he would not be able to call more animals." All Might said.

"Now, how about Young Jiro and the Hero team?" All Might asked.

Momo again continued and said," Jiro-San played to her strength, essentially playing as a support, telling her damage dealer where the enemy is.

However, the Hero team could have played much better. Koda-San could have used his quirk from the start maybe to attack the bomb since everyone knows that Luffy-San is a heavy hitter and fast. They should have stuck together, and used Dark Shadow to intercept Luffy-San since they cannot take him out alone."

All Might nodded at their explanation.

"All right, next team, go up!"

As the next team walked up to me, All Might himself pulled me aside and asked me what's up with me shrinking.

"For my Gear 3, I blow air into my bones, causing them to inflate and gain more power, however this is something I recently thought of so I don't know how to control this drawback yet. I don't think it will be a problem in the future though." I explained, to which All Might nodded.

"You really have a versatile quirk, Young Luffy. I am looking forward to your progress." He says with his signature smile.

I am currently walking towards Training room C3, something not shown in the anime.

Apparently, this is where they customized the room for me to train for observation Haki training like I asked for,

I entered with my student ID. Looking to my right, on a stool, I could see a lot of different types of supplements, and a plastic bag with food inside.

It was for my 3rd, 4th and 5th meal for today, and enough supplements such as protein powder and creatine to last me about a month.

It seems like Lunch rush will be passing to me like this everyday.

After entering the room, I looked around me, to see a lot of blasters just pointed at me from 5 sides of the cuboid-like room.

Only the ground was safe, but apparently, the tiles on the ground can move, so technically I can get attacked from anywhere.

How long would it take to awaken Haki? I don't know. But it better be fast, since I don't know if I will be able to win, or even remotely survive against the USJ Nomu, if I don't have any Haki.

If I have armament, I could probably beat it, even if it is just at the basic level, but armament Haki will take at the very least a couple months to awaken and I do not have that type of time.

For now, observation would be my best bet, even if it is rudimentary and only works a couple of times, that might help me survive.

I still haven't decided how much I should participate in USJ. Honestly, I don't even know if I should attend school that day, but I feel that the pros might outweigh the cons.

Staying and fighting will help me gain experience against a variety of quirks and see the world's strongest fight up-close.

Running ensures complete survival.

And, it is tomorrow, so I don;t even know if I can figure out how to use the Marine powers.

I don't want to stop the spy from gaining more information since that will definitely cause a butterfly effect.

I know the timeline would have changed plenty, especially with grandpa, but for now, knowledge and information is power.

If I am not wrong, Cobby unlocked Haki from the time he joined the Marines and Marine ford which should be a couple months.

If I can somehow shorten that, it will be great.

I don't think I will reach internal destruction or future sight anytime soon but those are the super duper long term goals.

For now, I should try and gain an observation Haki.
