8 New Phase Preparation

(Sekai's Virtual World)

Sekai sighs as uses his quirk and enters his virtual domain with Kansei and Haibu in tow "What exactly does this phase entail exactly? you've been vague on it Haibu…" Haibu sighs "Its Genetic they will tell you when they feel it's time. The preparation are mostly just finding intel on suitable quirks and removing anyone who tries to halt us."

Kansei nods "Yeah, still they are being more vague then usual" Haibu nods "I agree however they did send us this" she uses Sekai's console menu to show the two an image of a gene, they look at confused until Haibu grins "So that's what their research has been about and what this next phase entails" the two turn to her "What is that?" Haibu grins "It's the quirk gene…the thing that grants us our powers Genetic is researching ways of forcing it to evolve in certain ways to produce certain quirks. They also seem intent on making these quirks and their holders stronger then ever by reinforcing the dna that makes up the quirk gene and the body itself."

Sekai laughs "Perfect now we can really start this, I'll go make some calls you two are free to remain or head off on your own" the two nod and Kansei stays with Sekai while Haibu leaves through a portal made by Sekai.

(Sekai's Virtual Palace)

Sekai sighs as he and Kansei sit and play digital chess, Sekai moves one of his pieces "So Kan I never asked why did you try and attack Genetic when we first came to recruit you?" Kansei sighs and moves one of his pieces "I thought he was a scientist and my ptsd kicked in" Sekai looks at him with intrigue and confusion while moving another one of his pieces "Oh…why would you have ptsd about scientists of all people?" Kansei breathes deeply while moving one of his pieces "Because they're responsible for making me what I am now, also checkmate" Sekai looks and sees Kansei's rook in front of his trapped king "God damn it I can never beat you at this…oh well and yeah I guess that is justified why you'd have such… anger for them."

Kansei nods and they continue playing before Kansei leaves to go clear his head, Sekai yawns and goes to his living room.

(Sekai's Virtual Palace, Living Room)

Sekai opens the massive doors and chuckles "I'm back Oof-" he is tackled to the floor by his virtual hound Vert who resembles a hell hound but with blue and black flames projecting from his aura. Vert licks his face repeatedly before Sekai manages to get him off "Hey Vert I missed you too. Now get off me before you make Varia jealous" Vert comply's and gets off him and Sekai walks to the room and smiles upon seeing Varia facing away from him "I'm home~" Varia turns and sprints at him and Sekai sweat drops as she stops just a few feet from him "You've been gone quite some time you know".

Sekai sighs "Yeah I know but I was busy alright, how about I make it up to you" she grins "Ok…I know what you can do~" she grabs his shirt and pulls him in close and Sekai sighs "I figured you'd want this~" she kisses him and the continue for a few minutes before Sekai feels someone hug him from behind and gulps "Shit…hey Valeria how you-" he feels her squeeze his chest tighter "Alright alright you made your point" she stops and he falls to the floor and breathes heavily.

"Why-" Valeria grabs him by the throat "You left us for a month with no warning…now you owe us so get your ass in the bedroom~" Sekai breathes deeply "We aren't walking today are we" the two women laugh "Nope" they drag him by his ankles and he thinks to himself about what he could do to contribute to this next phase of Genetics plan.

(Haibu's Hideout)

Haibu smiles as she uses her quirk to observe her spies and agents in association and several government institutions "Soon we will have enough political might to enact out our ideology without having to spill blood" she grins and looks through the mind of the newest agent to be added to her hive mind "Ooo…a new project hm perfect info for some good money" she laughs and pushes it away before deactivating her quirk and sitting back in her chair "Our wait is almost over just a little longer then we strike."

(Hosu City)

Ikari growls as he traverses the rooftops with Kotai "Your too slow Kotai your gonna get left behind!" Kotai breathes heavily as he uses his solid visualisations to try and catch up with Ikari who's speed is easily 2x Kotai's "Or you could slow down before you bust through a wall?!" Ikari stops and Kotai crashes into him and bounces off him, Ikari sighs "Fair point but still you need to get your stamina up" the two sit on the vantage point as they watch several heroes fight with a group of villains.

"Why do we have to observe these idiots again Kotai?" Kotai sighs "Because Genetic wants to know what quirks are out there so we can plan the next phase accordingly" Ikari sighs "I hate planning why can't we just go brute force?". Kotai sighs "Because even we won we'd have more work to do and many of the best quirks and people who use them would be dead or crippled" Ikari doesn't respond for a few minutes "When you put it that way…I realise it now" the two sit in awkward silence before Kotai's wrist computer beeps and he leaves, leaving Ikari alone on the rooftop staring down at the people.

(Hosu City, Alleyway)

Butsuri grins as she holds a hero in place "Don't struggle dear it will be over soon" she finishes draining the hero of their stamina and strength and grins as she hears footsteps approaching and sees Kotai before running up and hugging him pressing his face into her chest. "Glad you could make it honey~" Kotai blushes "Do you have to call me that?".

She nods "Well yes cause your all mine~" Kotai blushes more before Butsuri puts him over shoulder and smiles "Anyway I got the intel I needed so I figured we'd go back to my place and…unwind a little~" before Kotai can protest Butsuri immediately uses her now enhanced speed to make her way to her home at blinding speed.

(Kusuri's Lab)

Kusuri grins as she finishes making the last of her bomb potions before turning to a locked rectangle box which she opens revealing potions with a bluish liquid in them "Ah spirit potion I missed you, being intangible and nearly invisible is so useful" she closes her box and turns to her right seeing what she needs for the next phase.

A vial with a black and red liquid inside that bubbles when held "Ah a chaos potion, this one is probably the most dangerous one I have aside from the bombs" she puts the potion back in its case before typing away on her monitor and smiling "Once the next phase begins I can really start making some moves".

(Hosu City, Powerplant)

Kansei winces as he drains electricity from the station slowly "I wish this didn't hurt so much" he growls as he feels his body slowly acclimate and absorb the energy. He lets go and breathes heavily "My quirk is supercharged at the cost of my body looking like this…I hate you mother, father, doctors" he growls and sits down and slowly absorbs more electricity naturally from the station before heading to the highest point in the city to stare at the lights of the city at night.

(Hosu City, Abandoned Gym)

Suji laughs heartily as she downs a bottle of wine before working out and shattering the concrete floor of the gym with one blow "I'm only getting stronger and my muscles are only getting denser" she flexes and poses "No other female hero matches me in muscles aside from maybe that Miriko girl I keep seeing on the tv…but even she's small compared to me" she laughs before grabbing the usb drive she got from an association spy. "This better have the data he said is on it otherwise I'm gonna break his ribs and his legs".

(Genetic's Lab)

Genetic smiles as she stares into the eyes of a pro that she caught "Well aren't you the little snooper…" the pro tries to escape his restraints but they just seem to tighten in response "Don't bother struggling boy your not going anywhere till you spill what you know-". The hero growls and spits in her face. She slowly wipes it out and growls "Oh I see you wanna play rough huh, she grabs his arm and starts causing his flesh to become necrotic, he screams and begs her to stop but she continues until his arm is weak enough to pull off which she does.

She grabs a blowtorch and cauterises the wound "You gonna tell me now or do I need to remove something else~" the hero shakes his head and tells her what he knows. She smiles "See was that so hard…she picks him up and seemingly leads him to the exit only to push him into a tank and laugh "You didn't really think I'd let you go did you?" She pushes a button and the tank fills with gas knocking the pro out, she then straps him down in the tank and picks up a needle with a multicoloured liquid inside "You'll serve me now…as a Nomu" she injects him in the neck before closing the tank and pushing a button which causes it to slowly fill with water. She walks away before injecting the heroes blood sample into herself. "Your quirk will serve me well."
