11 Confession

It's been a year since I manifested my quirk, retractable wings and umbrakinesis. I didn't do much training with the wings since I know what it could do. What I trained for the past year is the control over darkness.Now I can surround others in pitch-black clouds of dark space. I can use darkness to create portals to travel from one place to the next, Shadow Travel, I can use shadows to cover myself in darkness to become invisible, I can possibly see through darkness while others cannot, I am able to use black energy creating virtually impenetrable barriers, Can fire bolts of dark energy, I can manipulate shadows to form any weapon, I can absorb and dissipate shadows, I can become stronger at night or in dark places. These were the things I could do after a year of training and experimenting. And during one time i was able to store things in my shadow as an inventory. I did try to creat an attack like the black hole used by Teach in One Piece, but I was not able to do that yet.

As for creating the serum for Hana it's not finished yet, because she's with me all the time and I can't go to my suitcase lab to create it. But I decided that she'll have a super soldier serum based on my dna, while removing the darkness quirk from it and only giving her the retractable wings and claws with healing abilities. With it she'll have the extermis serum with the dna mix of a pyronite and Human Torch. I thought about adding the dna of Fire Storm, but if she couldn't control herself she may go nuclear and explode and I don't want that at all. I can make a machine that can control it fir her but it'll be her clutch, and when she loses it it may backfire so I trashed that idea.

On other side Fuyumi has been coming here thrice a week for the past year instead of coming everyday, I think she's going to college now. We did converse with each other everytime I'm free or else she just spent her time conversing with Hana. I think Hana is seeing her as big sister now instead of their initial friendship. Last time she came was to pick up the birthday cake for older brother Touya, since I've already changed his life for good and decided to help when he awaken his quirk I placed a micro bot with a modified extermis serum. It would inject the serum on him only when he's asleep and the serum will activate when his awakening happens, so that way he'll think his quirk just evolved and gave him the ability to self heal.

As I was thinking about the Todoroki family mom's voice brought me out from my musing "Thinking about Fuyumi?"

"Yeah." I involuntarily blurted out. So I looked at mom with a sheepish smile, but befor I could say anything she spoke again.

"I like her too. Don't worry you have full permission to pursue her."

"But she's older than me. What will she think?"

"What? You think seven years older than you is a big difference?"

Hearing this I looked at her and asked "How do you know her age precisely?"

"Well, who do you think always speak with her. Your sister has found everything about her even befor you. You should know that."

Hearing this I almost spit the water I was drinking and looked at mom and said "Hana knows about it?"

"Well she does. She knows her brother more than anyone Haru. And she likes her too."

"She's a good big sister, brother." Hana said that while walking into the counter area from the kitchen. "And she likes you too."

"How do you know that?"

"Well, she has been stealing glances at you every time she comes here."

"So?"

"So she likes you that's all. If you don't ask her out someone else will and you'll be the loser." Saying that she ran back to the kitchen.

As I was about to say something to her the bell chimed with the door opening and Fuyumi came in win a white dress today. Totally different from how she usually dressed. As she neared the counter mom whispered to me "Good luck Haru." and went back to the kitchen.

As soon as she reached the counter I asked her "Excuse me can you come with me for a moment?"

"Yes!!" She was startled with the sudden invitation, but went on with it.

I led her to a private booth were couples mingle when they come to the bakery. Sitting down I motioned her to sit down too. After she sat down I looked at her and said "Look I'll be straight forward..... " but I was interrupted by her saying "I like you." with a blush on her face. Looking at her I spoke

"Look Fuyumi, I like you too. But I'm young."

"I know, it's just three years that's not a problem."

When I heard that I was sure that this won't work out because she think that I'm the same age as her brother Natsuo. So I asked her "Just to know, while you were conversing with my sister, have you ever inquired about my age?"

"No. Why?"

"Because, even though I look like a seventeen year old I'm actually thirteen this year."

As soon as she heard that she froze on the spot, not minding that I told her "If you ask me if I love you, then it's a yes. But I can't have a relationship with you if you consider my age different. So think about it carefully and reply. I'll be at the counter everyday." After saying that I left the booth and went back to the kitchen and asked dad to handle the counter for some time.

After hearing that Haruto is at the same age as her youngest brother, her mind stopped working for a bit and passively heard what he said before he left. So taking the opportunity he gave her she got up and went back to her home. Only her mother knows about her secret crush so she's going to ask her what to do.

When she reached home her mother Rei Todoroki saw her daughter like a lifeless doll, so she thought that the boy might have rejected her but to her surprise her daughter spoke to her in that state "Mom."

"Yes dear?"

"If I had a relationship with a boy of the same age as Shoto, will that be alright?"

"Why are you asking that?" Rei couldn't help but ask.

"Well, the one who I liked very much.."

"Yeah, Haruto isn't it?"

"Yeah, him. He's the same age of Shoto, and he likes me too but I don't think it'll be..." As she was about to ramble on, her mother called her

"Fuyumi."

"Yes?"

"You love him right?"

"Yes"

"He said that he love you too right?"

"Yes"

"Then go on, there's no problem with the age difference. Look if you think that a relationship should based on what the society thinks, you should lose that thought. Everything comes from your heart. If you love him so much, start the relationship with him already. Don't wait, or else he may find another girl."

"Really, there's no problem?"

"There's none. When the time comes I'll talk to your dad, don't worry."

When Fuyumi heard that she hugged her mother and kissed her on the cheeks and said "I needed that mom." Saying that she ran back to Night Bakery to give him a proper confession.

Seeing her daughter running like that made Rei smiled and spoke to herself "Young love."
