9 Chapter 9: Into the future.
More than one year has passed since I started living with my grandparents. I'm having a great time here. Grandma's delicious food, uncle's care, wandering around the jungle with Snowy and more importantly training with grandpa. But It's not as enjoyable compared with training skating with mommy.
After the reunion of the family, grandpa and grandma went for their world tour. That's too childish at this age. But they Didn't listen to anyone and so they left…
Mom and Uncle having a short conversation in the middle of watching the news.
Today's hot search is about All Might and Sir Nighteye. Interesting topic that also drowned my attention.
Suddenly uncle turned off the tv. That causes mom to glare at uncle.
"Augh…! That's only the news they made up. "
"Oh really! Then I guess you know the real thing. "
Mom said in an annoyed tone looking at uncle.
Uncle began…
Just recently, Sir Nighteye stopped being All Might's sidekick.
The news shocked the entirety of Japan. What might have happened between these two famous partners for them to go their separate ways?
Not many people knew, but the reason was the aftermath of All Might's fight with All for One.
Sir Nighteye, with his <Future Sight>, had seen All Might's ending. He had tried convincing All Might to quit Heroism, but of course – All Might didn't listen. He, in the end, was the Symbol of Peace.
But we don't talk about that, do we? Everyone already knows about this. There is another reason for this sudden mention; Sir Nighteye has seen something else.
Destruction.
Devastation.
Cataclysm.
Slaughter.
He saw all these horrors in his visions of the future.
Someone was screaming, someone was crying.
There was death and destruction everywhere, nothing made sense – reality itself was distorting.
It is a world level Danger.
Uncle finished his words…
"OMG! To think you'd know about this… are you that right worthy now!"
Mom started to tease uncle.
Then uncle started talking about something really interesting.
Hero Middle School!
"Hero middle school..? "
"Yes...seeing a world level danger in the future… and in need of as many capable heroes to fight against it. So they're going to start Hero middle school. There students will learn about their quirk and learn to control it. "
I got overjoyed about it, " Uncle, I want to go to hero middle school! "
"You do!? "
Mom narrowed her eyes at uncle.
" Oh common!! He can go! You should let him do what he wants. "
After frowning at my uncle , mom asked me seriously.
"Okay, Mahi! Do you really want to go? "
I didn't wait a single moment but said,
"Yes! "
"Then It's settled, I'm going to recommend the middle school near my agency "
"What, aren't there any middle schools here? "
"Not every Middle school was turned into a Hero course class . Some specific ones. And the middle school in Chiba city is near my agency, so I'd be able to look for him. "
"Chiba city..? "
After hesitating for some moment she agreed.
Mom won't be there cause she needs to stay here in the mansion. I'd be alone there, new place and new people's. But I'm ready, Home schooling is boring.
And another reason is I never saw my uncle's agency. If I go I'd be able to see awesome stuff everyday.
"There's some month left to start middle school so Mahi have to mastar all your skating moves really quickly "
I was startled by Auntie Fuyomi's voice.
"Auntie...when did you come? "
" A little while ago but you guys were having a conversation so I Didn't disurbed "
Auntie comes here every now and then, teaches me some new moves and more importantly I found Auntie Fuyumi has a crush on my Uncle.
Ha ha ha…I'm now working as a qupid.
To think that he (uncle) didn't date anyone at this age. He might be gay or asexual. If that's so then our only hope is auntie Fuyumi. Chere on!
While thinking about those matters I realized my phone is ringing.
It's Shoto!
I went outside to take the call.
A familiar cold voice came to my ears.
[ Hey… you watched the news? ]
Whoo that was straight..
[ Just on it, It's decided that I'll be attending hero middle school in Chiba city ]
[ Ah!!... That's great ]

I clearly heard his chuckle.

Before I got to the teasing point he hung up the phone. I'm sure he was gonna ask me to go to the same middle school as him. But..

I went in and saw them chatting. I didn't disturb and went outside to the Garden.
Thinking about the past and future…
Elementary school was good but ended miserably. Andrew..! ( Mahi's best friend) Hope you can understand I wasn't looking down on you. Huh!!!

Mahi found confidence in Fuyumi's words and it's true that he is good at it. He is ready for what's coming in the future.
