13 13: Changes

"I look forward to seeing you, Young Yoarashi!" All Might shouted as the projection deactivated.

Yusuke exhaled and smiled in joy, learning that he was the Top Scorer. He suddenly stood up, running out of his room.

"Mom! I did it- I got in U.A.-!" he shouted.

He was immediately greeted with a deep hug by his mother, Saeko.

...

"That's great, honey. I'm so proud of you," she said with a sniffle.

"T-thank you, ma..."

The mother and her son's embrace lasted for a few more seconds, as Saeko reminisced about the past. Her past struggles and regrets always seemed to go away whenever she held her son so closely.

She broke the hug and looked at her son's yellow eyes. Even if he didn't get in, she'd still be proud of him, because that's what a mother does.

She then widens her eyes as she tells him, "Ah! I gotta go tell Ryu!", before scurrying to find her phone.

Yusuke had a genuine smile as he looked at his overjoyed mother. He was indeed lucky to have such a one-of-a-kind mother.

And thus, two weeks passed in a blink of an eye.

A blonde teen could be seen wandering around a spacious building. He stopped at an enormous room, the sign [Class 1-A] could be seen just above it.

He exhales and walks into the room with a happy smile. However, that smile quickly vanishes as his eyes widen in surprise and... confusion?

He scanned the room, but he couldn't find Mina nor Inasa. Now, he assumed that Inasa was in Class 1-B, but Mina? It was still quite early so maybe she was just late, but then how can he explain the fact that he couldn't recognize three of the students currently in the room?

In the front seats was a tall, slender young man with a bright green mohawk, and two hooked blades jut out from his cheeks.

Two seats behind him was a girl with green, thorn-covered vines for hair.

[A/N: Fun Fact! According to the Mangaka, Shiozaki was actually supposed to be in Class 1-A, but since her hair was a trouble to draw, she was moved to Class 1-B...]

Well, what he said wasn't entirely correct, since he could recognize the two of them, and they are definitely supposed to be in Class 1-B. He took a look at the sign outside, just to make sure that he was in the right room. But, seeing the [Class 1-A] confirmed it.

Just then, he was approached by a dark-blue-haired student.

"Hello, fellow student! My name is Tenya Iida from Somei Private Academy!" he welcomed, making robotic gestures with his hands.

"Hi... I'm Yusuke Yoarashi... Uh- It's nice to meet you." Yusuke shook his hand, still muddled with the situation.

"Ah! The Top Scorer! I must sa-" Iida started, but was ignored by the bewildered Yusuke.

The blonde teen approached his assigned seat and greeted the unknown student.

"Hey there. I'm Yusuke Yoarashi. Since we're going to be seatmates, please take care of me." he greeted with a bow.

"Nice to meet you, Yoarashi-san. My name is Sen Kaibara. Let's get along well." his classmate greeted him back with a calm tone.

'Well, looking at him carefully, I think he's familiar...'

Yusuke then slumped on his seat, thinking about the bizarre situation.

What happens to his future knowledge now? What other changes happened?

Granted he didn't know much since he'd only watched the anime up until the fourth season, and he didn't read the manga... but still, having that knowledge was a reassurance to him, little as it may be...

The door opened and another classmate entered.

Iida tried to greet him, and he received a response in an aggressive tone, "Shut up, ya nerd."

"Wha-!"

Ignoring them, Yusuke sighed in his seat, accepting what happened.

The changes... it was bound to happen. With him here, he knew that it wasn't the same "universe" that he watched. Alterations were bound to happen, he just hoped that nothing big was changed...

"-Heh. I'll have fun crushing you extras." the spiky-haired teen said out loud.

"Huh?! What did you say?!" shouted the green-mohawked student.

Bakugo turned to the student, shouting, "I said that you're all weaklings!"

"Erm- Everyone, stop thi-" Iida tried to stop them, but was drowned out by the other's shouting.

"Shut up!" they both shouted at the dark-blue-haired student.

...

"Geez, they're loud..." Yusuke commented to his seatmate.

"Yeah... It makes me wanna punch them both..." Sen replied in a calm yet violent tone with his hands vibrating.

"Uhhh-"

But, just then, amidst all the commotion, the door opened and an expressionless girl walked in.

'Another one who wasn't here originally...'

She looked at the seat between the two arguing students, and from the way she was acting, it seemed to be her assigned seat. Looking at them both, she halted and looked at the empty table in front of Yusuke.

Seeing no teacher around, she decided that she would sit there temporarily.

"Uhm- Hi! I'm Yusuke Yoarashi. Nice to meet you." the teen greeted.

The girl bowed, replying, "Yui Kodai.", before taking a seat.

Minutes passed by, and the tables gradually got filled, but there was still no sign of Mina, Sero the tape guy, Sugar Rush, or Hagakure.

...

"Hello pretty classmate, I'm Denki Kaminari, and that's actually my table." said a yellow-haired student, a black lighting streak on his fringe.

The student in question, Yui Kodai, looked blankly at her seat, and then at Kaminari.

Seeing her blank look, Kaminari cleared his throat and said, "But you can keep it if you want.", and then sat on Yui Kodai's assigned seat.

A few moments later, a familiar green-haired student came inside the room, followed by a brown-haired girl.

Yusuke sighed in relief, thinking, 'Phew! At least that's the same!'
