54 Chapter 54

" Hey, Axel. Could you help me with this? " asked one of the inhabitants of Nabu Island.

" No problem. " Axel said as he created barriers to help the man, lifting the supplies needed to build the house.

After the UA cultural festival, Endeavor made his appearance as the number 1 hero, fighting against a Nomu on television. It was a pretty epic entrance to have after being declared the number 1 hero.

" Pack your bags. You'll be having a special safety program in 3 days. " Aizawa said as he looked at his class.

" Principal Nezu agreed to a government project in which you'll be acting as Heroes for Nabu Island, an island south of Japan. The heroes working on the island have retired, so you'll taking their place until the new heroes for the island arrive.

While you're there, you'll be completely alone. No teachers to help you out. Every action taken will be your own and you'll have to take responsibility.

Make sure to pack all your gear and be ready. You guys are villains magnets, so villains will diffently attack you on that island. " Aizawa said.

" Come on, Mr. Aizawa. I doubt that will happen. " Kaminari said.

" Right guys? " Je asked as he turned to the class.

" Yeah. Besides, it was mostly the LOV. " Hagakure said.

Axel knew that Aizawa was completely right, so he took his advice. The class did so as well, considering that for some reason they keep getting attacked.

" Thanks, Axel. " The man said as Axel walked away from him with a nod.

" I just finished. " Axel said as he called Mina over the phone.

" Okay. Head over to the beach. Tsuyu needs help with lifeguard duty. " Mina said.

" Alright. "

Axel created a barrier under his feet and flew towards the beach, grabbing a coke along the way. Once the day was finished, class 1-A had a nice surprise in the people living on the island making them dinner. It was delicious.

Day 2, the same as the first. Axel walked along the path back to headquarters after doing another job. The walk was relaxing considering the peaceful atmosphere.

As he was walking he looked at the giant monster that appeared in front of his eyes.

' This is new. '

He watched as the monster went towards him as Axel just stared at it. He made mirrors and looked at it, seeing a couple of kids behind the monster.

" Sis. We tried this yesterday. Why try it again? " Katsuma asked his sister.

" Just because one isn't a total idiot, doesn't mean the others aren't. " Mahoro said as she looked at Axel.

She watched as Axel walked up to the monster without a care in the world. She wanted to see him. use his quirk, but he never did. He just kept walking until he passed right through and walked towards them.

" So minds telling me what this little prank was for? " Axel asked as he walked up to them.

" I'm sorry. " Katsuma said as he looked at Axel.

" Katsuma. Don't apologize. " Mahoro said to her brother.

" It's fine. By the way, who's quirk did that? " Axel asked.

" That was mine. It's called Hologram." Mahoro said.

" I see. It's an amazing quirk, but not people will be fooled by a giant monster. " Axel said, thinking of the situations where the quirk can be extremely useful.

" Tch. That's 2 people so far. " Mahoro muttered.

" So what are your names? " Axel asked.

" Mahoro Shimano. "

" Katsuma Shimano. "

" Axel. Nice to meet you both. " Axel said. " Katsuma. What's your quirk? "

" Oh, it's cell regeneration. " Katsuma said. " I can accelerate my own cells or others by touch to help them heal. "

" That's an amazing quirk as well. " Axel said as he looked at Katsuma, thinking about all the possibilities Katsuma can do in the future.

" What's so great about heroes anyway? " Mahoro asked. Axel and Katsuma heard her. Katsuma looked at Axel who merely stared at his sister.

" I don't know. " Axel said as he shrugged his shoulders.

" What? What do you mean you don't know? " Mahoro asked.

" I don't know why heroes are so great. " Axel said as he looked at the both of them.

" Anyway, I'm going to go back to relaxing aside as possible. " Axel said sighing for what would happen.

" Getting tired from just helping regular citizens. You can't even do that much? " Mahoro said as she looked at Axel.

" It's not that. It's the fact that in a few minutes, hours, or days, this island will be attacked by villains. " Axel said.

" What?! " Mahoro said with wide eyes along with a look of fear on her brother. " How do you know that? Why would they attack this place? "

" Because my class is cursed. " Axel said with a blank face as he looked at the 2 of them.

They both looked at Axel like he had a mental problem.

" What? " Katsuma asked in confusion.

" Yep, my class is cursed. Every time we have a school field trip, we end getting attacked by villains. We've already been attacked twice before, a third one won't surprise me. " Axel said, sighing.

" That can't happen. " Mahoro said, not believing a word.

* boom *

They turned towards the port where they saw smoke clouds appear in the sky. Axel looked at Mahoro and Katsuma with the ' I told you ' look before taking out his phone while Mahoro and Katsuma had dumbfounded faces.

" What is it, Axel? " Bakugou asked over the phone.

" Aizawa is a fortune teller. " Axel said.

" Are you serious?! " Bakugou asked.

" Yep. Head to the port. " Axel said.

" I'll go inform the others. " Bakugou said as he hung up.

Axel placed his phone back into his pocket as he looked at the kids.

" Ask for the devil and he shall appear. " Axel muttered before glancing to his left. Mahoro and Katsuma looked toward their left to see Nine walking towards them.

Nine looked at the children and used one of his quirks, Scanning.

" It seems you have the correct quirk. " He said, joy is shown in his eyes as he stared at Katsuma who backed away in fear.

" What? What are you going to do? " He asked in fear.

" I'm going to steal your quirk. " Nine said as he stared at Katsuma before looking at Axel.

" After I get rid of the obstacles. " Nine said as he used another one of his quirks, bullet lasers.

He swung his hand towards Axel, attempting to take him out. Axel blocked the attack with a barrier, which wasn't damaged in the slightest.

' Steal his quirk? How's that possible? The only one who could do that was All for One, the villain who All Might fought and had multiple quirks. ' Axel thought. ' Does he have a similar ability to him? '

' His quirk is stronger than I thought. I'll need to get serious. ' Nine thought as he looked at Axel.

' However, he's a hero. I can tire him out if I choose my target correctly. ' Nine thought as he stared at the kids. ' I just cant harm them. '

Immediately, 2 giant sea snakes creature appeared from his back, one aiming straight towards the twins and one aiming for Axel. Axel blocked the attacks with his barrier, as the creatures slammed into them.

Mahoro and Katsuma's eyes widened in shock as they watched the creature's heads get cut off. They looked at Axel who stared ahead at Nine with a blank expression.

Nine had a calm expression as he took a deep breath. It seems he needs to take this seriously front the start.

The sky turned dark as storm clouds appeared. Rain started to pour down, while the winds started picking up speed. Nine flew into the air as he looked down at Axel.

Axel stared at the sky as blue light appeared in front of his eyes while a yellow light appeared in front of Nine.

The twins stared in shock at the clash between blue and yellow.
