U.A. Festival (2)

After hearing Masato's plan, Himiko giggled, excited about the match while Hitoshi wavered upon the thought of controlling them with his quirk. Neito was the only one who properly gave it a thought.

"I think this plan is good. As long as you can do your job, Anzai Masato!"

With his narcissitic way of saying things, Neito agreed.

"I was always up for it."

Hitoshi really regretted doing his friend, Hamada, favor and try to help Himiko. Who knew that he would end up doing something so crazy?

"... Ha~ Let's do it."

The plan was simple. But highly dependant on Masato and his trust on his chavalry. One could also notice that his shirt shrank suddenly, revealing his belly button and rocky abs.

"Let the match begin!!"

Present Mic started the match as everybody shot towards each other. Neito was the vanguard who stood at the forefront while Hitoshi was one of the back carriers.

Masato was sitting on the top of three. A group of people showed up in his eyes. And Masato jumped off his 'chariot', right into theirs. He stepped on an unknown kid and apologized in his heart.

"Heya, there!"

It was a really simple plan. All the three had to do was make sure that Masato never touched the ground while he would go crazy.

It was easy to take their headband once they were on the same 'plain'. Taking the headband, he jumped off their group. They tried to get it back but he was too swift and agile.

"I really shouldn't have agreed to this."

Hitoshi regreted his actions as he split up from the rest of the 'chariot'. He crossed his hands before his chest. Masato smirked at him and used his arms as a footing.

Yeah, the trio became his steps to infiltrate the enemies' barrier and then run away.

From Hitoshi to Himiko and then Neito, Masato was flying in the sky, using his own allies as a boost.

"Is that-Is that even acceptable!? What do you think, Aizawa-sensei!?"

Mic turned to his friend in the commentary box.

"... There are no explicit rules against it so..."

"Hear that, fellas! It goes!!"

Aizawa really wanted to dig a hole and die in it. Just why couldn't that student of his be normal for once? Causing trouble anywhere he goes.

'Yet he's great at handling his body and always knows where his allies are.'

It was an effect of his new skill [Ally Hunt] but Aizawa didn't know that. Perhaps it was smart of Masato to utilize his skill like that.

As he rushed from team to team, he noticed someone approaching him at high speed.

- Boom!

He jumped away from the team he was about to aim and dodged the angry Katsuki who arrived after him. Just like Masato, he also gave up his 'chariot', using his quirks to fly over.

But he had more maneuverablity in the air. He changed his direction easily but shooting two explosions and rushed after Masato. There was nothing to worry.

"Oi, Narc, now's your time!"

A big palm appeared behind Masato, as if trying to trap him in.

"I'm not a Narc, you bastard!"

Neito retorted, even when doing his duties.

'Heh, he's just jealous of my looks.'

How did Monoma copy Tendo's quirk? All they needed to was have Hitoshi talk with the big palmed woman. His quirk [Mind Control] made it easier for Monoma to copy her.

Using the gap between the fingers of his large hand, Masato passed through. Making it a trap for solely Katsuki.

Once people knew that quirks were allowed in this battles, all hell broke through. Everybody was using them in their special ways.

Ibara held the opponents with a vine while some were just straight-up fighting.

Katsuki used his explosions to avoid the hand but a foot came in his line of sight. It was Masato who clung on to the back of the palm, seemingly disappearing from Katsuki's sight.

"You bastard!!"

- BOOM!!

But who was Bakugo Katsuki? A man who was more feral than any beast. Before his brain to think, he let his explosion rip.

"I hoped you would do that!"

The explosion only propelled Masato towards another team. He directly kicked the top position, locking their headband with his shoe and pulling it back.

While Himiko appeared right next to him, to act as an footing.

"This is my revenge for all that blood!"

He screamed as he moved away. Himiko just dusted her arms and shook her head. She would probably drain more of his blood after this match was over.

Katsuki wasn't letting go of Masato so easily. Things became especially hard when Masato dodged Katsuki but an pillar of ice rose towards him.

It wasn't an easy job to manuever midair. Impossible even. But the corners of his mouth tugged up.

- Whip!

A whip made of white threads grabbed hold of Neito who was away and Masato pulled on it, moving himself away from the ice. As for where the whip came from, it was made from many tiny cloth threads, tied together. It was why Masato had to roam around the place with his belly out.

He had tied various threads together, shortening his shirt but creating a whip as a result.

Shoto followed him on his ride of ice.

"Is this even a Cavalry Match?"

"... There's nothing against it in the rules explicitly..."

"So it's fair, my friends!! Let's go!!"

Aizawa really wanted to die. All the children that gave up their rides were his children. Hopefully, no one else erupts.

At that moment, Deku used his quirk to jumped off his ride, using Shoto's ice for his own gain.

The royal rumble between Masato, Deku, Katsuki and Shoto began. One would shoot ice while other would blow it up. Masato would had a plan for everything while Deku used everything that he got his hands on.

Masato kicked off an pillar of ice while Katsuki jumped on him. The head bands were so close to his palm, only for Deku to kick his hand away and try to grab one headband himself.

At that moment, an ice obstructed Deku. Shoto tried to freeze Masato but he always whipped the already-present icebergs and flew away.

"I'm spider-Ahem, wrong world!"

He taunted the trio, who glanced at each other.

'Let's beat that bastard up first.'

Those words passed through their eyes but a sudden attack stopped their plans.

It was a huge palm trying to cature them all, along with heavy amount of black mist. The mist erased Masato's presence, hiding him within it.

"HAH! This isn't enough to hold me!"

Katsuki exploded the mist while Shoto half-froze the arm. Deku moved away from them, trying to search for Masato.

It was a foolish idea to hold them down in the first place. Neito really regretted it.

"Looking for me."

As if answering Deku's search, Masato appeared right behind him. He kicked Deku's back while an explosion took him from the side. Due to the blow, he fell towards an ice pillar, which froze one of his legs.

And with green lightning around his body, Deku appeared before him, grabbing the headband around his neck.

Compared to the value of the headband, only the act of stealing it made them feel more elated. But Deku's eyes widened up.

"You're not Anzai-kun!"

He revealed while 'Masato' only gave a wry smile. A smile that only vampires had.

Deku figured it out by looking at his headband, which was only for 10 points. There were no other headbands around his neck, meaning he either passed it to someone else or he wasn't Masato.

But one look at his capabilities and expressions, made him sure that the guy before him wasn't Masato. Yet why did he follow him so easily?

'It was the shirt.'

In the midst of battle, even the slightest of move is observed and adapted to. When the fights get too fast, one usually differences between an enemy and a friend by their clothes. Masato gave that effect to this cavalry battle by decreasing the size of his shirt.

As Deku, Katsuki and Shoto were getting faster and more coordinated, they deemed each other allies, attacking the one with shorter shirt. It was a psychology trick that worked.

The real Masato was with Hitoshi.

"Do I have to carry you like this?"

Hitoshi groaned at his misfortune.

"Hey, I don't like getting held by men either but touching the ground means disqualification."

Masato was currently being 'Princess-carried' by Hitoshi. Both of them were in despair of this fact. As for their hiding spot, it was literally in plain sight.

Hitoshi controlled a few opponents, who lost their bands and made them stand around them, to provide cover.

The switch was made when Neito tried to attack Class 1-A's top students. The black mist was the effect of an invention that they 'borrowed' from Hatsume Mei. Hitoshi didn't feel anything while mind controlling her and 'leasing' her invention.

As the mist came in, Himiko transformed into Masato, tearing her clothes slightly and jumping into the mist while Masato noticed her presence. They kicked each other's legs to maneuver midair, changing the direction so when Himiko was thrown out of the mist, no one doubted that they had switched as there was no way for Masato change his direction midair.

And Masato jumped into Hitoshi's hands as Neito was frozen while Himiko was the decoy.

- Bang!

"And that's it! My friends! This marks the end of the Cavalry battle!!"

Mic was enthusiastic about the match, which wasn't exactly a cavalry battle.

"Now, the rankings are... Rank 1 Team Midoriya!!"

Because of Fumikage, their points were greater than 1 million, creating a huge difference between them and second place.

"Second place is Team Anzai!!"

Masato had gathered many headbands because of his crazy tactic and his idea of keeping the others strong opponents like Shoto and Katsuki busy.

"Third place is Team Todoroki!!"

Even in the last second, he could easily earn points by freezing others.

"Fourth place is Team Bakugo!!"

"DAMN IT!!!"

That wasn't a good rank in Katsuki's eyes. He wanted to be the strongest. The number one.

With that the four teams advanced forward.

Their members were:

M. Izuku, U. Ochaco, O. Mashiro, T. Fumikage.

A. Masato, S. Hitoshi, T. Himiko, M. Neito.

T. Shoto, Y. Momo, I. Tenya, S. Hanta.

B. Katsuki, A. Mina, K. Eijiro, K. Denki.

All of them, except for three, were from Class 1-A.

"Tch! I don't like it."

Neito complained while Masato was hiding from Himiko, who was swinging her knife wildly.

"Did you say something to me during the match, Masato-kun?"

"... I don't know what you're talking about! Hey, Mini Eraserhead, help me!!"

Hitoshi ignored the pleas for help and looked for the battle matchings.

His first opponent was.... Midoriya Izuku.
