32 Hero Vs Villain (1)

In the training arena, designed to simulate city fights, all 20 class members had gathered around.

Deku was wearing his brand-new, Almight-like costume. His heart was pumping loudly, like a bomb ready to blow.

While the rest of the students also had their own costumes. Momo in her exhibitionist outfit, Ochaco in her cute one, Katsuki looking like a grenade and Shoto wearing a normal gym uniform.

There was certainly a strange character mixed in.

Masato, with his black track suit and pant.

Unlike others, he wore slippers on the ground.

"... Is that really your training uniform?"

Momo doubted her eyes, believing that something must be wrong with her eyesight.

"Nah, he doesn't look like he even cares about the outfit."

That was something Mezo shouldn't have said, with his rather normal outfit.

"Oi, it's better than being an exhibitionist and having no taste."

No one messes with Masato's sense of style. His retort shook the two of them to the core.

"T-this-I'm not an exhibitionist! This outfit helps me create things more easily!!"

While Momo was red as a tomato, Mezo was drawing circles on the ground. It wasn't his fault that he wasn't flashy like others.

'I thought it was cool.'

His mumblings seemed to have stung Masato since he was the reason behind the depression.

"Anyway, you wanted to change your name. Here's your new name, Exhibitionist!"

Declaring it without a hint of shame, he moved away from her and consoled Mezo. While Momo was thinking of her next retort.

"Honestly, I found your costume cool. You know, like... Um... Yeah, like Aizawa-cool!"

He pondered upon what was similar to Mezo's style before remembering a certain lazy teacher.

"Agh!"

That struck Mezo's heart harder as he fell. Taking down a competitor was easier than he thought. Anyway, Momo was ready to rebuke him now.

"At least, I'm interested in going all out. Unlike a certain someone, loser."

Masato looked at Momo, who had a haughty speech.

"Oi, Pink One, don't put words in her mouth!"

He knew that Momo couldn't come up with that and glanced at the nearby Mina, who looked away.

"Anyway, you losers, stay out of my way!!"

- Boom! Boom!

Katsuki commanded everyone as he exploded his palms. Izuku, no, Deku looked at him and shook his head.

Soon, Almight showed up and he started explaining the rule.

"To handle pressure better, U.A. has started doing simulations against all sorts of situations. From robbery, theft, loss of quirk control, hostage situation to many more. It will be your job to deal with them all, with the minimum collateral damage.

Our current simulation will be about a group of villains taking cover in the building, hiding a highly dangerous bomb with them. The heroes will have to remove the threat by either capturing all villains or touching the bomb. The villains just have to survive until the time runs out.

Use this chance to go beyond the limits that I have set, that your predecessors have set! Go Plus Ultra!!"

His characteristic voice and smile raised the moral of the cadets. They were all ready for the fight simulation, especially hotheads like Katsuki and Eijiro.

"Everybody will be in groups of two, depending on your luck.

Team A: Midoriya Izuku/Urara Ochaco

Team B: Todoroki Shoto/Shoji Mezo

Team C: Yaoyorozu Momo/Anzai Masato

Team D: Ida Tenya/Bakugo Katsuki

Team E: Aoyama Yuga/Ashido Mina

Team F: Sato Rikido/Koda Koji

Team G: Jiro Kyoka/Kaminari Denki

Team H: Asui Tsuyu/Tokoyami Fumikage

Team I: Hagakure Toru/Ojiro Mashiro

Team J: Kirishima Eijiro/Sero Hanta

That's it!"

Using chits to decide the team was utterly unexpected. What happened to hightech technology that could create teams based on one's compatibility?

Not one person and complaint because it was Almight saying those words.

"Now, shall we decide the hero and villain team? Here~ WE~ GO!!"

Almight took two boxes and used them to choose amongst the hero and villain teams.

The first match was decided among two childhood friends.

Team A(Heroes) Vs Team D(Villains)

Masato straightened his back as he stared at the big screen. This fight would clear his conceptions. The reason why Katsuki was more kind to Deku.

'Is there another reincarnator or is it just a mistake?'

Or was the Bakugo Katsuki of this world nice from the start?

His eyes narrowed on the screen as the battle began.

Both teams giving their all. But Team A barely won the battle. Deku was heavily hurt but none of it was from Katsuki trying to kill him.

Though the entire building was on the verge of collapse. The fight between their quirks was really damaging. The new fight had to take place in another building but it was no biggie since there was an entire city full of buildings left.

'Something has changed!'

Shaking his head, Masato gave up on thinking.

So what if there was another reincarnator? What did that have to do with a peace-loving, kind saint, like him? Let the world burn, he will die faster that way.

Momo started giving out an accurate analysis of the battle. Taking Almight's thunder, which left him in an awkward position.

"You're really smart, huh?"

Masato praised her with a smile.

She didn't expect that was happy to be praised. But she should have paid more attention to the smile. It wasn't a kind smile. Masato had nothing like a kind smile among his emotions. It was a sly smile, ready to pounce on a prey.

"Thank-"

"Sadly, you don't have a single shred of talent in personal communication. Or you would have already come up with a name for me... Or is it because you're busy with your hobbies, Exhibitionist?"

Grinding her teeth inwardly, she decided she would get payback one day.

Almight tried to calm the situation between them but didn't know how to interfere.

"It's not cool to bully girls, bro."

Eijiro slammed his fist together for some reason.

'Is he going to do that everytime he speaks?'

Perhaps that was the only way he could speak.

"Don't take it as me bullying her, Rock. What will you do if the villain is a female? Will you abide by the rule of manliness or protect civilians!? This is just training for that day. Let's bully these girls until they run, Rock!!"

Eijiro nodded deeply, as if he learning something important. Sadly, he didn't have a book on him or he would have taken notes.

"Don't listen to him, Kirishima-san."

Momo interfered in the process of corrupting the young hero.

"Ahem! Ahem! This is a practical!"

After Almight coughed, everybody settled down.

"Hear him, don't cause trouble, Exhibitionist."

Masato whispered those words to Momo, gaining her enimity.

"The next match will be between...."

Team B(Hero) Vs Team I(Villains)

The invisible girl Toru and the martial artist Mashiro entered the building and took their places right next to the bomb. While Shoto and Mezo were dandling around the front entrance.

"What is the plan?"

Mezo glanced back at Shoto, asking for his opinion.

"... Freeze."

Shoto didn't say anything. He walked towards the building and touched it, uttering a single word. And a layer of frost covered the entire building, freezing both Mashiro and Toru's feet.

"That was anti-climatic."

Masato spoke his heart while looking at them. Unlike the first match, he didn't have much interest in this one. Not because Shoto's quirk was too strong or because the villain team were too weak.

But because he just didn't care. Instead, he already had plans on how to beat Shoto using only the villain team that were his opponents.

Especially the broken ability of Hagakure Toru helped him in formulating that strategy.

Somehow, the thought of beating up others gave him a strange sense of satisfaction.

The next match was between Team J(Hero) Vs Team H(Villain)

It entirely became like the last fight because of Fumikage's [Dark Shadow].

And so, Team H won. Things would have been different if the building wasn't too dark but it was a good fight.

"Now, the next battle is between Team G(Hero) Vs Team C(Villain)!"

With his hyped-up voice, Almight announced.

Masato had a dull face as he walked forward. Being a villain wasn't fun... But he wouldn't decline a chance to beat up heroes since his master Stendhal basically did that for a living now.

In the recent months, news about Stendhal had increased but no one even knew his name. If not for the videos that he posted online, showcasing the corruption of heroes, people would have thought that a hero killer was on the loose.

"What's the plan, Exhibitionist?"

Momo pursed her lips and held her chin.

"How strong are you exactly?"

The results of the quirk apprehension test weren't clear enough for her to make a conclusive plan.

"...."

How strong? Masato could only be defeated by Almight in the entire school. Since 'Hachimon Tonkou' wasn't a quirk but a technique, not even Aizawa could stop him.

'Hey, system, is this an emergency?'

Sadly, there was no reply from the [Glorious Death System]. It was naturally a decline since going all-out against these poor fellows would be cruel.

'Hmm~ I guess I can't use the gates...'

"Not that stronger than yesterday's test."

Only a lot faster.

He shrugged his shoulders. Unless it was test that gave him marks, he didn't have any desire to achieve the first rank. The allure of that rank had fallen since he had already gotten it once.

"... I see."

Though she deemed it to be a lie, Momo didn't pry any further. Everybody liked to keep their quirks a secret.

"I will barricade the room. Which will buy us time. You should go out the window and circle them from the back-"

"Hush!"

Just as Momo was speaking the plan, Masato pushed a finger on her lips. His eyes were glancing down at the floor beneath his.

Someone was there. All of his senses were screaming that. Kyoka was listening in on their conversations from below.

- Boom!

Masato harshly kicked the ground and almost broke that part of the building, disrupting Kyoka's ability.

"I got the plan. Let's do it."

With that, he jumped out the window.

Momo was confused but didn't worry about him. She might hate him but also had a bit of trust in him since he had once spoken of a strange quirk to her.

Yes, she still remembered the quirk that he told her about. The [Hachimon Tonkou].

'Since he didn't use his quirk last time, he probably noticed that Aizawa's threat was a bluff. Not only his strength but even his wits are scary.'

She was mistaken. Thoroughly so.
