31 Chapter 30:- Worlds Apart

A very long day ended for both sides.

Where one side Izuku was having the time of his life, in his new home, where no one could touch him, let alone find him, he was having the best sleep of his life, where he wasn't hurt, he was sleeping in a king size bed and didn't have to adjust in a mattress suitable for a 6-7 year old, he didn't have to worry about the dust or cleaning anything as the automatic cleaner kept the room clean, he didn't have to worry about any injuries, as he didn't have any now, he didn't have to worry about the ventilation or adverse effects of having the bloodied bandages, he didn't have to worry whether the injuries or pain would let him sleep or not, he didn't have to worry about preparing himself for what might happen the next day or what kinds of bullying he would have to face the next day.

He also didn't need to keep himself motivated or push himself to endure everything to become the hero, all the shackles he had, that tied him, or all the obstacles that were in his way to stop him from having a single moment of peace, everything was gone and for the first time since his quirk analysis at the age of 4, he was sleeping soundly without any worry of the world, and had a really sweet and satisfied smile, excited to meet his trainer that would help train his body and help him master his quirk so that all the things he noted down about the possible abilities he can use with his quirk and now he wanted to bring about a revolution as he slept in the luxurious king size bed of one of the biggest and the safest building of the city.

Yet he wasn't having dreams or rather his mind had gotten so used to quirk analysis by now that his mind was running mental stimulations of his quirk, what moves he could create, how creatively he could use his quirk against all the heroes he had did analysis on, running simulations, seeing how well can his quirk possibly be, and how well will it stand against top heroes, which heroes he can defeat quickly, which would take time, which heroes he can defeat without sustaining any injuries, which heroes would be able to injure him and which heroes he can one shot, his mind was working in overdrive mode, yet his body was relaxing as if his mind and body were 2 separate entities.

Izuku, asleep in his luxurious bed, continued to run simulations of his quirk in his mind. He imagined himself defeating all the heroes he had analyzed until now, one by one. He was confident that he could bring about a revolution, but he knew that it wouldn't be easy.

The heroes, on the other hand, were exhausted and frustrated. They had searched all day for Izuku and the books, but they had come up empty-handed. They were starting to lose hope.

"What are we going to do?" asked All Might, his voice heavy. "We can't find Izuku or the books. It's like they've vanished into thin air."

"We have to keep searching," said Endeavor. "We can't give up now."

"But where do we even start?" asked Hawks. "We've searched every inch of the city. There's nowhere else to look."

"We don't even know whether Izuku is alive or not?" asked All Might.

"And whose fault is that?" asked Gran Torino.

"My," said All Might.

"Seriously All Might you should have taken classes on parenting before family planning," commented Endeavour.

"No need to play blame game anymore, what's important right now is to find where Izuku is if he is alive, if he is dead then where is his body, who took it, and who was the one who knew enough about Izuku's books to take his books after he tried committing suicide, we can't let this matter get any longer, for we don't know the intentions of the person who has taken Izuku's books.

Whether he is a good guy or a bad guy, every passing second the chances of those books falling in the hands of villains is increasing and with it is increasing the risk of heroes getting compromised, we need to act fast," said Detective Naomasa as he entered his office and removed his hat and coat and hanged it on the hanging stand

The heroes stood in silence for a moment, each of them lost in thought.

"We will start the search tomorrow again, we will search the whole city once again and also look at other neighboring cities to see if Izuku might have gone there, or if someone might have taken him," said Detective Naomasa while sitting on his chair.

"Endeavour it would be really helpful if your daughter could tell us the places Izuku might have gone to, it could help us narrow down probable locations where he could have gone if he is alive that is," said Detective Naomasa as he looked at Endeavour with an expectant gaze.

"I can try that, but I can't promise you anything, after today's episode and thanks to a certain someone," said Endeavour looking at All Might, who in response just put his head down, as Endeavour continued, "Fuyumi doesn't trust heroes anymore, heck the most likely answer I would get from her would be, "Why should I trust you," she wouldn't even talk properly with me, the only reason she told us these locations is that she cared about Izuku and believed Izuku might be alive, pushing her too much might not be the right move right now, we need to show her evidence that we are working hard to find Izuku or whatever's left before she loses total faith in the heroes," said Endeavour

"I understand, let us know if she tells anything, anyways, meet me tomorrow in the morning and we will continue our search again," said Detective Naomasa as the heroes nodded and started leaving the precinct.

"All Might, I hope you will teach your other son lessons in humility, if you still are the same person I looked up to like millions of people of Japan, and make sure to monitor your son's movements from now on, if he commits one more crime he's directly going to jail, with no one to help him," said Detective Naomasa as he talked with All Might after other heroes left.

All might nodded his head as he said, "I promise I won't disappoint you again and rectify my mistakes," he tried smiling but he couldn't.

"What's the point of it now, Endeavour's daughter now doesn't trust heroes, even if one person feels like this then we should consider it out defeat, and we have been defeated, if the daughter of No.2 hero can't trust a hero, think about the consequences and chaos that would cause, if the world finds out about this." Said Detective Naomasa.

"There are certain mistakes you can get away with, because they are insignificant and as humans we can overlook them, then there are those which if you do, people would never forgive you, and for someone who's going around with the title of symbol of peace, you should know what kinds of consequences I'm talking about.

Just pray for 2 things, first people never find out what happened, and second, if Izuku is alive, just pray he isn't with the villains, cause you guys have given him every reason to turn to villainy, then there is the matter of books, if it has fallen in the hands of villans then we are doomed," said Detective Naomasa as All might just had his head down, he nodded and left.
