Damsel in Distress.

Currently I am taking a leisure walk in the forest with a unconscious girl on my shoulder. I took her out of a basement. Well that was misleading.

When the police and heroes were busy taking care of the mess I made in the warehouse, I was watching from the forest and when I saw the kids leaving in the Police Vans, I took my leave from there, as there was no need for me to stay there any more.

After I left the warehouse area, Instead of flying with a Jetpack back to the house, I chose to take a walk in the forest. It is very rare for me to have alone moments in my life. In these alone moments, I used to think about my future or some other things in life like how to be a good boyfriend or something.

Now after I am in a successful relationship with Fuyumi and have adopted Eri. These alone moments are going away, as taking care of a daughter and investing resources on the Relationship are time-taking efforts. It's not like I am crying about the responsibilities that came with the goals I wanted to achieve, but some times I feel like I need some alone moments, sometimes I want to think about my own interests or just for the sake of my own Individuality.

I still care about Eri and Fuyumi but I also need to think about myself or I will just become another person who grinds himself between his family and his work without giving time to himself, which is not very good. Endeavor kicked his family for his work. He chose to lose one to gain one but now he regrets that. All Might gave his all to the society and now he is without a family even if he is old.

And since History is there to make us aware of mistakes that our predecessors made and let us learn from those mistakes and not repeat those mistakes. I decided to make some time for myself so I can act as a better father for Eri and a better boyfriend for Fuyumi.

'I think I should start learning a musical instrument.... Guitar should be good.. Girls like guys who can play Guitar and I will also look cool.... Yeah... Yeah baby... Look at me finger this A minor... Well that sounded bad.. really bad..'

During the walk, All I needed is music to make this complete, ... If I remember correctly, I got a {Radio} Function from the Rewards. I opened the System Panel and clicked on the {Radio}.

After that nothing happened. Nothing other than silence.

'Hm.. I will just sing in mind.'

I chose a song and was about to sing it in my mind but then I started hearing song directly in my head and the song sounded the same as original. After some thoughts, I was able to say that this is the work of {Radio} Function.

So now continues my leisure walk with a unconscious girl on my shoulder.

I started walking with the song going in my head, like I was listening it through a iPod.

After walking for some time, I started singing,

I got bills to pay

[Notice: The life of the Objective of the mission is in danger.]

'Is Carl's life is in Danger? And what is this mission? I never heard of a mission name like this in the game. Did my intrusion made a change in the plot and now I will be having different missions.'

Stopping these thoughts, I quickly clicked on [Accept] as Carl's life may be in danger now. About Himiko on my shoulder. I will be taking her with me to GTA World. Leaving her in the forest will only increase the chances of her running away and I don't want to chase her. It was a coincidence that I was able to meet her here, so why would I give up this chance to solve one problem which can become a huge problem in the future if left unchecked.

She is still unconscious and I can handle her. If the things stay unresolvable then I won't mind killing her even it isn't her fault for being a villain but she is one and a cruel one at that.

A Dazzling Bright Light covered me and Himiko who was connected to me because of Overhaul and we disappeared from the forest.

In a small and shabby room with a big Old TV and a small bed which can hardly accommodate 2 people which was covered in cheap bedsheets, there was a girl with a pretty face and tender facial features was sitting with her knees folded and watching TV. This scene could be considered normal but the girl was crying and had a blade in her hand.

She was shedding tears like rain in autumn from her pale blue eyes. Her mind was occupied with her thoughts and the TV was just making incomprehensible noise for her.

Her hand holding the blade was constantly trembled. She didn't know what to do at this point and she was now at the end of the line. Her tears never stopped and she had a small question in her mind.

She looked at her trembling hand and the blade. She gathered courage and started bringing the blade near her arm.

A bright light shined in the room but it did not distracted the girl from doing what she was doing.

...

The dazzling bright light subsidized and slowly my vision came back. I looked around to see where I am teleported to. I found myself in this small room with nothing special but.. then I saw a person on the bed watching TV.

'I need to get out of here quick or I will be labeled as a thief....'

As I was about to turn and run away, I noticed something.

The girl who is sitting on the bed is not watching TV. She has a blade in her hand and... and.. She is trying to kill herself.

"Hey!! Stop!!" I shouted and dashed towards the girl.

I quickly came in front of her and snatched the blade from her hands. She was just trying to cut her arm. She was about to commit suicide now. I looked at the girl who was looking at me with expressionless eyes. She didn't even saw the Unconscious Himiko with bloodied clothes over my shoulder.

She stretched her arm forward and touched my abdomen. She poked it like I was ghost she is able to touch.

"Did you come from that Bright White Light?" She asked me, looking at me with hope.

"...Yes..." I technically came from that 'Bright White Light'.

Tears started gathering in her eyes. She hugged my waist and started crying loudly. Her head rested on my abdomen. Tears after tears but her wails didn't died down, instead they sounded more sad over time.

...

Some time passed and now the girl finally stopped crying. I threw the unconscious Himiko on the bed and let the girl who is still hugging me, calm herself down.

"Are you okay now?"

"...Yes... Mr. Chan." She said and retracted her arms which hugged my legs.

'Mr. Chan. She knows about me. But how? And she was about to commit suicide, then.. is she the objective of the mission? Well let's ask the important thing first. I will ask how she knows me later.'

"Why were you committing suicide?"

"I... I... don't have anywhere to go... I don't have anyone now who I can call a family... All my loved ones left me behind...and my husband... left me here in this room.... I.. I am at the end of the line of my life.. so what can I do beside ending this life to truly end this all..."

'No one to call a family. Husband left her here in this room. Pretty sad but who would leave such a pretty girl behind. Must be a fool.'

"What is your name?"

"Marie."

Before I could ask the next question, a notification popped up from the System.

[Mission Objective: Get Marie back together with her husband.]

'I need to solve her family issue now? but why me? And why is she favored by the system. Not to be rude, but why do I have to save her from committing suicide and now solve her family issue. I don't remember any character named Marie in the game at all Then WHY?!!'

I know I am now deep in this the moment I accepted the mission. I thought Carl was in a perilous situation or something but it turned out to be a case of an irresponsible husband who is not ready to take care of his wife, thus leaving her. And now I have to solve this to get out of this world and go home.

I also brought Himiko with me here. I thought I will quickly end the problem that is threatening Carl's life and then leave and Himiko will be unconscious the whole time when I will be solving the situation. so what was the problem.

But now it is a mess and now I have to carry her like a sack of potatoes everywhere with me. I cannot let her run lose in this world or I don't know what problem will she create.

"What is the name of your husband?" I asked Marie. I want to solve this as soon as possible and go back with Himiko. If she wakes up I will have to make her unconscious again.

Marie's eyes again became tearful when I mentioned about her husband. But she still answered me,

"His name is ... John... C..."

"What?"

"His name is Johnson.... Carl Johnson....."

(A/N: Thanks for all the supportive comments and advices you gave me. I am truly thankful.

I now know how to get out of this slump so for that I am going to take a break for 5-7 days max. I will then come back with a good arc filled with car chase, action and some unexpected characters in the [World Mission: American Dream]. The whole team of Night Raid is going to America including La Brava, Danjuro and Akane with Shido and Knuckleduster.

But before that you will have to kill some villains in the Villain Slaughter week and face Endeavor in Japan.
