XXXX Hospital, on an artificial moving island 'I-Island' inhabited by over ten-thousand scientists conducting research on Quirks, in a Delivery Room.

"Push a little harder Mrs. Aria!"

A middle-aged woman in an attire worn by nurses for hygiene and identification. The traditional nurse uniform that consists of a dress, apron and cap.

"Ahhh!"

Before long, the short-lived suffering ended and a new life is born.

"Euaaaaa! Waaaaa!!"

The baby is in the nurse's embrace covered in white towel, crying for a whole minute before tiring himself out.

"M-My baby...let me hold him"

The tired mother huffed out words. Responding to the mother's request, the nurse gently handed the new born baby over.

"...Rhys...Your name will be Rhys...surname does not matter."

The mother gently caressed the baby's small head as tears started falling from her eyes socket.

"Grow up well...*hic*...and be a good man like your father okay my baby?...*sniff*...M-Mom *hic*..."

The mother's holds baby Rhys firmer as she speaks,

"Mommy is sorry Rhys...I really wanted to see you grow up, *hic* hear your first word, *sniff* witness your first step, drop you to school, see you make friends, *hic* teach you homework, and...a-nd...and *hic* *hic* I love you my baby~..."

As the tired mother bends her head over to kiss her son's forehead, but fate is not on her side as she passed away before even manage to kiss her son whom she loved.

The nurse who's standing beside the mother's bed wiped her tears witnessing the sad scene in front of her.

As if understanding that he will never see his mother again, baby Rhys started crying loudly.

"WaAAAAA! UeaaaAAAA!!"

The nurse gently holds the baby, separating him from his mother before walking out of the private delivery room. Leaving the mother and another man who's been quiet in the corner of the room the whole time alone.

"...Aria"

The man made his way towards the mother and muttered as he took off his glasses and wiped his tears.

"I promise to take a good care of your son..."

The man caressed the mother's hand before several nurses and doctor entered the room.

"Please excuse us Mr. Shield"

One of the doctor respectfully said, to which the man just nod in response.

The man's name is 'David Shield', he is a tall man of an average build, he had straight shoulder-length honey brown hair which he swept backwards, a single thin strand left hanging over his left eye, and a relatively young face with a growing goatee. He has small sky-blue eyes under his wide-rimmed square glasses on his face.

This man is a well known sidekick and a scientist who creates support items for heroes. Also a father of the 2 year-old Melissa Shield.

Watching the doctor carefully took away Aria's body, the man stopped the voice recording next to the patient bed where Aria previously rested.

David and Aria known each other since his time in California, she's a younger sister-figure to him.

*Click*

David clicked 'Play' on the recording and listened to it once to make sure there's error.

[...Rhys...Your name will be Rhys...]

Aria's tired yet soothing voice resounded from the recorder.

"Rhys...what a good name. From now on, he'll be Rhys Shield then"

David muttered to himself before packing his things and left the room with a small smile that somehow made its way on his face.

David brought Rhys to stay with him and his daughter in a 7-star hotel room he lived after Rhys was discharged from the hospital.

His daughter 'Melissa' quickly fell in love with her new brother, 'Rhys'. She would play with him everyday whenever Rhys is not sleeping and eating. She would squeeze or poke his chubby cheeks, tickle his belly, tells him a story, inform him on what she did with her friends and etc. It does not matter that he understands or not, she's just too excited to have a baby brother that she yearned for.

"Melissa~ Rhys~, snacks time~~"

A nanny, who hired by David to look after Melissa and Rhys while he's working in the lab.

"Let's go Rhys! S-N-A-C-K's time!"

Little Melissa held the 8 months old Rhys in her arm carefully and tapped his mouth 2 times.

As for the reason she did that?

Rhys is not your ordinary child, he's disabled or to be more specific he's 'blind'. So in case Rhys does not understand what she said, a simple gesture is easier for anyone to be familiarized with.

Receiving the familiar 2 tapping, Rhys became excited as he wail his arms around cutely while being held by Melissa.

This caused Melissa and the nanny to let out a giggle.

It's been 4 years since the birth of Rhys.

It's early in the morning and the sun is shining brightly, spreading its positive energy to the living in this world.

Inside a luxury futuristic room in one of the best hotel in I-Island, you could see a 4 year old boy and a 6 year old girl sleeping peacefully together with the boy being hugged by the older girl.

The 4 year-old boy had a soft white hair that matched snowy environment, he has a cute stunning appearance that would make anyone fell in love with him. Even though he is asleep, you could tell that he'd be a total cutie when he wakes up.

As for the girl next to him, she has a cute round face that promised beauty when she reached her adulthood, she also has wavy blonde hair which reaches her shoulder.

*Creak*

A figure, wearing a white coat, also known as a laboratory coat or lab coat, which is a knee-length overcoat or smock worn by those professionals involved in laboratory work, entered the room where the kids are sleeping.

He has small dark circles under his eyes but it is neatly hidden under his wide-rimmed square glasses.

Seeing the heart-warming scene in front of him in 4K, his built-up fatigue seemed to vanish in thin air.

"Haa~"

Letting out a sigh, he slowly made his way towards his daughter who's hugging his adopted son.

He poked his daughter cheeks to wake her up as today's a special day.

"Hnnn...5 more minutes..."

The 6 year-old Melissa groaned and muttered.

Seeing his daughter being like this, David had a flashback to last night.

Last night, he and his daughter planned to hold a birthday party for Rhys who's turning 4 today. He also remembered how enthusiastic his daughter was, she even said 'Tomorrow is a biG bIG BIG~ Day! I will not sleep tonight!!'

"Haa~ I guess I will prepare the birthday party alone..."

David muttered loud enough for Melissa to hear while glancing at her to see her reaction. And his plan worked out as planned as Melissa body flinched be for abruptly waking up.

"Papa! Good Morning!!"

Melissa loudly greeted her father.

"Shhh!"

David made a gesture to tell Melissa to quiet down as Rhys is asleep.

Understanding her father's gesture, she slowly yet nervously looked towards her right where Rhys is.

"Hnn?"

Rhys can be seen rubbing his right eyes with his right hand while his left eye fluttered open and is looking forward at nothing but darkness in his perspective.

"AH!! I'm sowwy to wake you up Rhys. I jus-"

"Go can go back to sleep Rhys, Melissa is just scared to go to the bathroom alone."

David patted Rhys's head and made up a believable excuse.

Rhys listened to David and went bac to sleep.

"N-"

Melissa couldn't even rebuked as her father made a gesture to stop her.

With that, the father and daughter duo left the room, leaving Rhys alone.

But...not long after the duo left, Rhys's white eyes suddenly fluttered opened as a sharp pain struck his small head.

"Kh! Guu!"

Groan escaped his mouth, but the excruciating pain in his head is not reducing in a slight bit but there's something that is being added...

One of his sealed memories is being unsealed.

It's the memory of his time as 'Asahi Kamado'.

The pain lasted for two minutes but for Rhys, it felt like hours of continuous torture.

'My head hurts...That memories...my past life...?'

The four year-old Rhys didn't panic from gaining some unknown memories but he quickly came to a conclusion which is absurd for a four year-old to be able to do so.

"..."

Rhys stayed like that, drenched in cold sweat while looking at nothing but darkness through his blinded eyes.

'I don't know much about this world but here seemed pretty peaceful with no demons to worry about considering that there's many 'Heroes' out there. I also have a caring sister and father.'

For Rhys who's been born blind in this life, he is lacking many things children his age achieved.

'I think there's a power called Quirk here, I wonder if I'll have one...'

Rhys didn't hope much as gaining his past-life memories made him more mature. The memories he experienced as 'Rhys Shield' also became clearer, making him understand what information and story his sister told him.

'I'm tired...'

Rhys white eyes closed, before falling asleep.

The fated intense battle between Demon Slayer Corps and the Demons is coming to an end after a long-lasting battle.

"Kuh! AHHH!!"

Asahi Kamado screamed at the top of his lung as his entire right arm was sliced off by the Demon King 'Muzan' in front of him.

"Become my vessel you cursed descendant!!"

Muzan roared as he stabbed the side of Asahi's neck with his four of his fingers before injecting his blood in him, a process to turn anyone into a demon. The more blood injects, the stronger demon you become.

And thus, if Muzan succeed this will be the birth of the strongest Demon ever. Since he was the brother of Nezuko Kamado who was the first Demon to develop an immunity to sunlight and is capable of using the Breath Style of Yoriichi Tsugikuni, Thunder-breathing, water-breathing and wind breathing.

As Muzan slowly disintegrates due to him pouring all his blood into Asahi's body, he tells Asahi to make his dream come true and destroy the Demon Slayer Corps in his place. Unbeknownst to Muzan, his dream will never come true.

Muzan succeed the process to turn one's into a demon. Asahi's body slumped down with both knee supporting his entire body, his eyes closed while his body is undergoing changes on the inside while on the exterior, he looked dead to the people around him.

Before long, people started appearing. Some are injured and exhausted, while some are the medics, running around from people to people to check their condition.

Giyu Tomioka and Tanjirou kneels in front of Asahi, the surrounding Kakushi shed tears, but then one of them suddenly gapes in shock as Asahi abruptly opens his eyes only to reveal a demonic gaze.

To everyone's shock Asahi regenerates his left arm and swipes at the Kakushi next to him with the intention to kill but Giyu and Tanjirou reacts quickly and pushes the Kakushi out of harm's way.

The other Kakushi look on in fear and ask Asahi why he is acting in such a manner,

"Lord Asahi, w-what's the m-matter?"

The now possessed Asahi didn't heed the concerned Kakushi's word as he stands drooling profusely, enjoying his newfound fangs and claws.

His Demon Slayer Mark mutates and grows down to move past the bridge of his nose, with another identical mark growing upwards from his neck to almost meet the other, similar to Kokushibo's Mark.

"Nii-san?"

The shocked Tanjirou muttered as tears rolls down his face.

Giyu rushes forward, grabbed the stunned Tanjirou and yells

"GET AWAY FROM HIM!! HE'S POSSESSED!"

Yelled Giyu to the other Kakushi to get away from Asahi.

Suddenly, the sun shines brightly from the sky and Asahi double takes to look at it.

He begins to burn and writhes on the ground, with his swipe at the Kakushi going off target but still managing to rip off the lower half of his mask. As Giyu gets in front of the Kakushi, he tells him to run away as he prepares to face this new threat, yelling for anyone who was still conscious to grab a weapon and begin fighting.

Everyone else looks on from afar with confusion at the sudden commotion, unaware of Asahi's fate when Giyu suddenly announces to them that the current Sun-Hashira 'Asahi' has become a Demon. He says that they need to pin Asahi down and burn him in the sun before he could kill anyone.

The demon Asahi suddenly attempts to find shade to stop burning but Giyu and Tanjirou intercepts him by stabbing him from each sides and dragging him to ground, with the boy clutching at his hair.

Noting to himself that if he had not been interrupted by the sun, Asahi would have surely killed the Kakushi, Giyu wistfully begs in his mind for Asahi to stay who he was and die as a human.

"Nii-San!!! Don't let it take over you! Overcome it PLEASE! Nii-SAN!!!"

Tanjirou pleaded loudly to his brother who is now a demon.

Suddenly, Asahi's body stops burning, Giyu and Tanjirou looks on in shock as he takes advantage of his former comrade as a Hashira and his brother surprise to swipe at them.

Tanjirou and Giyu narrowly dodges but his chin is grazed as Asahi follows up with another swipe but is intercepted by Inosuke.

Giyu attempts to stand up but feels dizzy from his blood loss and cannot do so. The same goes to the now kneeling Tanjirou.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!! THAT'S YOUR BROTHER AND THE HANHAN BAORI GUY! THAT'S OUR FRIEND!!!"

Inosuke yells very loudly. His tears is threatening to fall at the sight he's witnessing. A few minutes ago they were allies but now enemies.

"Nii-San!! Come back to your sense please!!"

Tanjirou yelled with tears flowing down like broken-dam after managing to stand.

"ASAHI-San!"

Zenitsu approaches the scene, supported by a Kakushi.

"AAARRRGGGHHH!!!"

The demon Asahi let out a loud roar, shaking the people's eardrum in the vicinity.

"This can't be real...Asahi-san..."

Zenitsu can't believe what he is seeing.

Asahi suddenly crouches down as a third Demon Slayer Mark appears from the other side of his head and he bares his fangs at Inosuke who can only look on quietly at what his become of his warm brother-figure. Zenitsu looks on in disbelief at the scene and cried.

"Nobody can fight anymore. We are all worn down. This is just too much. And what about Nezuko-chan? Asahi-san...ASAHI-SANN!!!"

Zenitsu stated the outcome of the last battle.

Asahi abruptly leaps forward to attack Inosuke who prepares to fight him.

Inosuke thinks back to his time together with Asahi in the butterfly mansion and says that they are all comrades, like brothers who would pull each other back if one of them started going down the wrong path.

Steeling himself by thinking that no matter how difficult it was, they would always walk the right path. Zenitsu yells at Asahi to stop as Inosuke thinks to himself that he would strike Asahi down and stop him.

Suddenly hit by a memory of Asahi offering him some dango to eat together after a tiring mission with a smile on his face, Inosuke stops mid-swipe at Asahi's neck and is unable to complete his attack, tearing up and saying it was no use and that he could not attack Asahi who's like a brother to him.

Giyu Tomioka, Inosuke, Zenitsu and Tanjirou Kamado look on in shock as Nezuko Kamado suddenly runs forward and hugs the now Demonified Asahi Kamado.

As the demon Asahi sinks his claws and fangs into his sister she begins to bleed but Asahi does not proceed to drink her blood.

Crying, Nezuko hugs Asahi and apologizes to him for all the hardships he and Tanjirou had to endure to make her human again. Tanjirou soon joined the hug while encouraging his brother to not give up.

Nezuko and Tanjirou encourages Asahi to resist becoming a Demon and says that going through all the suffering was quite difficult but to never give up. As Nezuko tells him to come home with her, Asahi starts removing his claws from Nezuko and lets out a wild howl.

"ARRRGGGGHHHHHH!"

The demon Asahi lets out a wild howl.

[Asahi Kamado POV]

Asahi's consciousness is somewhere in the empty void.

'Where am I? Am I dead? No, I can still hear that loud Inosuke, crybaby Zenitsu, lovely Tanjirou and Nezuko's voice. But...why are they encouraging me? I don't know...wait...I can't move...I can't open my eyes!...Where am I?!'

I panicked but before long, I suddenly heard voices of my deceased friends,

"My man, Asahi! IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP" Rengoku's energetic voice rang in my head.

'Rengoku? Wake up? Why? Am I asleep?'

I questioned myself.

"*Tears* Asahi, it's sad but wake up as the battle outcome is in your reach."

Gyomei's soft voice rang in my head next, followed by others,

"Don't give up, Asahi-san!" Mitsuri's voice

"I'll kill you if you don't wake up, you small spark" Obanai's voice.

"Please wake up, Asahi-nee." Muichiro's voice that is full of respect.

"Asahi-san, try a little harder and you will create a peaceful world without demons. Don't give up"

Kanae's soothing voice

"My Son/My Dear/Aniki/Onii-chan!" My siblings and parent's voices.

"*Tearing up* Thanks guys! I don't know what you are talking about but I will NEVER GIVE UP! ARRRGGGGHHHH!"

I let my instinct take control of my body.

"ARRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!"

Asahi let out wild howl after letting go of Nezuko's shoulder, but this time his demon form has decreased in half.

Nezuko and Tanjirou along with the others who is witnessing this scene is shocked and bewildered.

Asahi's face is now half-demon half-human with tears flowing out of his left eye which is the eyes that is released from being possessed. He regained a portion of his humanity by his strong iron will.

Taking a second to observe his surrounding, realization hits Asahi,

'Ah! I now remember everything. That bastard Muzan took control over me...how shameful... There's no more medicine that will turn me back to human now as well, Haa...there's only one way left then'

Asahi thought to himself with a sad gaze as he looked at his lovely siblings. Resisting his demonic side, Asahi opened his mouth and managed say.

"..'Ino..suke'....'Zen..itsu'....'Tan..Ji..rou'...'Nezu..ko'..."

The now not moving demon 'Asahi' muttered loud enough to let the people around him hear it.

"ASAHI!/Nii-San!/Onii-chan!/ASAHI-SAN!"

The ones that Asahi called responsed. While Giyu and the Kakushi just listened.

"...Sor..ry...but...you...must...ki..ll...me...now....whi.le...I..can..still...re..sist...it"

Said the half-demon Asahi while shuttering with a small smile which made everyone lost.

Tears rolls down everyone eyes, including the Kakushi and Giyu who tried hiding it with his long bangs.

"W-What a-are you saying *hic* Onii-Chan!?"

Nezuko argued back, choking on her own tears.

"...the...medi..cine....to..turn..demon..back...to...human...is..no..more..kuh-...kaaa..AAARRRGHHHHHHH!" The half demon Asahi screamed in pain as he finished his sentence.

"ASAHI!/Nii-San!/Onii-chan!/ASAHI-SAN!"

"...TAN..JIROU!!!"

Asahi roared in fury at Tanjiro, his brother, causing everyone to quiet down and just sobbed quietly.

*silence*

*hic*

*silence*

Seeing that his brother is now ready to listen, Asahi's eyes became warm like before,

"...on.l.y...Yo.u...can..ki.ll..me...."

Asahi said while looking straight at Tanjiro.

Kanao who is at the scene when Asahi told Tanjirou to kill him made her tear up as the last medicine was unexpectedly destroyed when she was hit by Muzan. She then slowly made her way towards Tanjirou.

"*Hug* I am sorry Tanjirou, it's my fault that *hic* the medicine is wasted..."

Kanao muttered her apology in a barely audible voice, to which Tanjirou just pat her head then gave her a small smile that says 'Don't blame yourself, it's not your fault'.

Tanjirou turned and face his brother then nodded

"*nod* I understand nii-san...I will do it."

Nezuko understood the situation, so she went to hug her brother 'Asahi'. Inosuke, Zenitsu, Tanjirou and Kanao also joined in the final group hug.

"...*Tears*...Every.one....I...regretted..many..things...Tanji.rou, I....re.gre.t...no.t..be.i.ng...a.ble...to se.e...yo.u....a.nd...Kanao,.....Nezuko and Zenitsu,.....Inosuke and Aoi-chan.....ma.rri.age HA..haha!"

Asahi made the other blushed at the end of his sentence before everyone in the area burst into laughter as they knew the reason why Asahi said that. He didn't want the atmosphere to be tense and gloomy in his last moment.

'I also regret that I can't get to live with you all...and be a grandfather...'

Asahi mentally thought and smiled to himself.

"...Giyu...mak.e....s.ome.....fri.end....will ya? h.aha!"

Asahi made eyes-contact with Giyu who just huffed before a genuine smile made its way on his face.

"...Tan.jir---ARGGHHHH!"

Asahi screamed in agony as his face started resembling demon more and more which is a sign that...time is running out.

"ASAHI!/Nii-San!/Onii-chan!/ASAHI-SAN!"

The worrywarts screamed worriedly.

"...Tan..ji.rou..."

Asahi gave Tanjirou a painful side glance.

"*Nod*"

Tanjirou nodded before wiping away his tears, understanding what his brother meant with that last glance.

"...Good..bye...everyone....I love *hic* you all."

Asahi too couldn't hold back his tears any longer as he started shedding tears when he said his last farewell.

After everyone bid their farewell with Asahi. Tanjirou unsheated his swords, took a stance then.

"Sayonara...N-Nii-san...AAAAAAAHHH!"

Yelled Tanjiro with tears rolling down his face like waterfall, before he continuously performs all twelve forms of 'Sun Breathing' in repetitive succession to increase the accuracy and agility of its movements while reducing fatigue. This form was created solely for the purpose of killing Muzan, since the repetition of all twelve forms aims to destroy Muzan's twelve vital organs (seven hearts and five brains) that move freely inside his body. And now that Asahi has somewhat inherits Muzan's power, this is the only method to end his life.

"It's been fun...Thank you"

Asahi muttered before darkness engulfed his vision.

That day should've been the day that the demon slayer corps should celebrate but everyone is in low-spirit due to the passing of several Hashiras including the one and only Sun's Hashira, Asahi Kamado.
