4 Chapter 4, The Transformation

"Im sorry that's all I could do since this was my first time using this ability," said Mew-Luffy before automatically transforming back into his original form, still laying on the deck.

Luffy ran to the now-tired Mew with glistening eyes, he grabbed Mew by the shoulders and started shaking him with an enthusiastic expression, "THAT WAS AMAZING! SHISHISHISHISHI!"

"mew mew mew mew!" stated with a dizzy expression, Luffy not understanding what Mew said nor not calming down his eagerness kept shaking Mew with the same enthusiasm, luckily he was stopped by Sanji who took pity on the poor newborn. "Stop it Luffy your making the poor child dizzy," said Sanji pulling Mew away from him.

Vivi and Nami walked towards Sanji who was holding Mew followed by the rest. "That....was shocking not only can you transform into people but you could even copy their devil fruit abilities," said Vivi stroking Mew's smooth furred head.

(A/N: Mew has small unnoticeable fur. Fun fact about Mew: since Mew can learn any and all pokemon moves it has 2 moves that always fail. One being attract which only works on gendered pokemon but since Mew is gender-less it always fails. Im going to still address Mew is he because the reincarnated person was a guy. )

Mew leaned into Vivi from Sanji's hold instinctively, enjoying the head pats. "I'm glad you like my head pats Mew-san," said Vivi with a small on her pretty face.

"Guys look there's an island on the horizon!" said Usopp pointing to the vague outline of an island on the horizon getting the attention of everyone on the deck. Vivi stopped patting Mew's head much to his dissatisfaction and rushed to where Usopp stood, "that's my home Alabasta, we're finally here," she said over the moon with excitement but also concern.

'I hope dad is okay. I'm almost home.' She thought feeling homesick, she knew that she couldn't enjoy her return home because of Crocodile.

"hmm by this distance we'll reach the island in a few hours," said Nami with a thoughtful expression.

"We should prepare," said Sanji putting down Mew before walking inside. Mew floated over to Chopper and started speaking with him since only he could understand him til he unlocks telepathy. "Mew mew mew," said Mew pointing to the vague outline of the island.

"How?" asked Chopper with a curious look on his face. "Mew mew," said Mew with a smile and a nod. "I see..." said Chopper with a thoughtful look.

Their conversation got the attention of the crew, curious as to what they were talking about, Luffy asked Chopper about it, "what did Mew tell you?"

"He said he could get us on the island faster with a transformation," answered Chopper with an eager expression.

"REALLY?!" asked Luffy eagerly, he wanted to reach the island faster so he could get food since Sanji wouldn't make him food when he asked. "Yes!" said Chopper with the same eager expression.

"Then please do Mew-san," said Vivi who heard their conversation. If she could, she wanted to go home and see her father as soon as possible. Who knows if Crocodile did something to him?

Mew just nodded his head and flew over a hundred feet away from the ship at an extremely fast speed, before he got covered in the light blue glow again. His body started expanding exponentially from his previous 40.6 cm to 1,450.3 cm. His body took the shape of a blue whale with a white underbelly.

(A/N: whose that pokemon?!)

Mew dived into the ocean creating a 360 degrees wave pushing the Going Marry off course, the crew didn't even realize the ship's change in direction because they stood dumbstruck seeing the transformation of Mew. Sanji who was inside the ship's cabin rushed outside feeling the shaking of the ship.

"WHAT HAPPENED?!" he asked his motionless crewmates but before he could even receive an answer the Going Marry started raising from the sea into the air. Getting out of their shock they started panicking, their current situation was unbelievable they knew Mew was doing something, but they still panicked.

Before they could try to do anything they heard an ear-piercing roar, "WAILORDDDD!" Sanji who didn't know what was going on and didn't see Mew's transformation rushed to protect Vivi and Nami who were wobbling because of the shaking of the ship.

"Wailord wailord wailord," they heard the same menacing voice again as if it was talking to them. Chopper getting out of his shock took a sigh of relief, "everyone relax, it's Mew!" he shouted to get the attention of the crew.

"Mew said 'sorry to scare you, everyone,'" he continued calming down the rest, they all took a sigh of relief, they really thought a sea king got their ship.

Sanji still confused asked, "what is Mew doing?"

Vivi who was the closest to him answered, "Mew-san said he could get us to Alabasta faster by transforming." calming down the vigilant Sanji.

"Wailord?" asked Mew in his own unique language, the crew turned to Chopper to translate. "Mew asked, 'are you guys ready?'" with an excited tone in his voice. Luffy being the enthusiastic adventurous person he is shouted, "LET'S GOOO!"
