7 Being Cruel

Metin acted rudely to Elizabeth day by day and humiliated her. However, In privacy he was miserable. He felt her pain because of their bond and the fact that she couldn't feel his pain was eating him up. Delilah kept on writing her book and Liz became a big fan without knowing her mystery writer. Elizabeth sat on her desk and was sweating profusely as her first year final exams paper was placed in front of her face.

"Start work" the supervisor announced and everyone had shaky hands. This was the exams that will decide their fate of continuing in the school. All the students began to write . She began to write and tried to forget about the past incidents that the so called Metin did to her. He made her feel unwanted . She needed to prove him wrong and that is by being the best. She answered every single question in anger and determination till the paper was over. She had had enough with him. She hated him now and it looked like that was what he wanted .She didn't wait for Ana as she exited the building straight to the Medicine faculty. Meanwhile in the medical exams room they were practicing real life surgery practical . Since the school was for royals and super rich people, they use real people to volunteer for their surgical practices. Metin had bisected in between the chest of a man laying unconscious. He had a tumour attached to the edge of his right ribs and could die any instant and the task of saving him was placed in Metins hands. They believed him to be the best student and he wanted to make a difference. He used all surgical tools wisely(Scalpels, forceps, scissors, retractors, and clamps) and used the magnifying glass to view in yet blood covered up to point out the tumour.

"Get a cloth and clean all this blood"he told the other students who were of assistance and they did what they were told. Then as he tried again and used the magnifying glass ,he saw the head of the tumour. A smile crossed his lips as he placed his retractors to pull it out.

"We are losing him" someone said as the machine beeped faster and his temperature went extremely high and this made Metin to sweat. Suddenly a sweat sent lingered around his nostrils. The sent of banana and lime. It calmed him down instantly and he immediately pulled out the tumour without any mistake or nervousness. Everyone was shocked at his achievement. He sealed the wound and the man's survival status returned to normal. The room filled with applause and cheers. He was the only one presented with an actual ill patient. Others had healthy people to practice on. He was still wondering why he smelled Elizabeth near him. Her scent calmed his nerves and he was glad..

Outside the science exams hall,Elizabeth smashed herself on the wall and panted hard. She hated the sight of blood and she had seen a huge sum of it. She had to give Metin a thumps up for saving that man . Yes he was a jerk but he saved a life. She was shocked how smart he was. The door opened as the students walked out including Metin , Manuel and Gabby. Everyone stopped to watch Elizabeth as she continued to pant due to her panic attack . Her eyes landed on that of Metin and he looked at her with worry. In few seconds he rushed towards her and held her.Manuel rushed beside him but received a warning growl.

"Elizabeth ,breath ,breath slowly,what happened"he spoke in an extremely worried tone.She was lacking breath minute by minute and if only she felt bonded to him,he could have kissed her and she will be fine. She looked pale suddenly and excess fear gripped him as he carried her to his car to head towards the hospital. He kept on begging for her to stay awake.

"Please don't close your eyes. Tell me what happened. Please Elizabeth. I can't live without you" he spoke in a cracked voice as tears filled his eyes. He didn't know this was how it felt to see your mate in suffering. How was he going to reject her then.

"Metin. Met"she couldn't even get the strength to pronounce his name.

"Please save your strength. Please be strong" he was so captivated with fear and without thinking he lowered his lips and placed a passionate kiss on her lips . She responded and kissed him back lightly but her eyes was shut close and darkness danced around her.

Elizabeth Pov

My head was aching severely. Urrgh why did I see blood. My panic attack was really dangerous . My personal doctor warned me to stay away because it was fatal for me. I slowly opened my eyes and saw a strange surrounding. Where was i, was I kidnapped. I tried getting up but a slight weight held me down. What the hell. I turned to my right to see the gorgeous guy . His head rested on my bed and his hands held mine firmly. I watched him and studied his dashing features and licked my lips without notice.I tried to remember how I ended up here but the image that flashed in my mind made me choke on my saliva . He kissed me. He said he couldn't live without me. He really said all those stuffs. I had lots of excitement but as I remembered how he treated me I fumed .

"Whats with the weird vibe you are exhibiting" his voice startled me and I jumped up but the pain made me groan.He held me lightly and pulled me slowly towards the bed to lie down.

"Where is my sister and Manuel"i spoke and he seemed angry as I said Manuel name. Was he jealous.there is only one way to find out.

"Hes really cute isn't he?"I continued talking to see his reaction and he frowned more.

"You are his friend. Do you think I would get a chance with him" I wanted to talk more yet he stood in anger.

"Why, I'm I not handsome enough for you. You frustrate me by being born. You have ruined me. I'm royal and you are nothing but you easily ruined me. Manuel already has a mate so don't dream of being with him" he was shaking in anger and I wondered what his problem was. I knew Manuel had a girl, she was my good friend. I wanted him to be upset and have a little guilt.

"I don't find you handsome. Don't deceive yourself . Plus it's because of you that I'm in this state. You say I have ruined your life. Well you have ruined my too. I regret seeing you at the mall.I regret hugging you in front of everyone for you to later humiliate and treat me like I am trash. I regret kissing you.Who ruined who now?"I asked in my own angry tone and he looked extremely devastated.

"You don't know what you have done to me. That pain makes me torment you. I'm helpless because of you. I hate you yet I don't hate you. Do you know how painful it is to feel this way. You feel nothing and I feel everything. I hate love . My parents refuse to live a peaceful and happy marriage and I'm been piled up with governing studies. I only came to this school because i" he paused what he was about to say and it made me curious. I didn't mean to go to far. He had tears running down. I have never seen him cry before and now I was feeling horrible. He stomped out if the room but first called for the doctor and asked if my condition was stable.
