A Creator's Thought

A middle-aged man clad in all black and sitting on a large stone throne chair that he had summoned with his power, with a dazed expression on his face, was in a small room on a rogue star that was so far from any galaxy as to be readily discovered by any powerful superpower and even gods.[1]

His expression made it obvious that he was deeply contemplating something and had lost all sense of his surroundings. This continued for some time, and the man—whose appearance appeared to be created by the heavens themselves—continued to stare blankly at the ceiling of the room he was in, as though he had been frozen in place.

This man's stance had been maintained for hundreds of years as he let himself sink into his thoughts.

In an effort to add some interest to his life, which was already appearing quite grey, the man was rummaging through his memories looking for anything that might be of interest.

It's unclear how bored someone must be to reach this level, but given that this man had infinite life and could not die of old age, it was understandable that someone with his level of power would be bored enough to look through his memories for something amusing to spice up his day a little.

His efforts were ultimately in vain, however, since he kept failing to uncover anything, and this pattern repeated itself often.

Either his memory was foggy because of how long he had lived, or it was primarily made up of memories of his training to get to where he was.

Finally, the man gave up from exhaustion.

Sighs.

"Was the ultimate goal of becoming God to have nothing to do?" In a hoarse voice that reverberated throughout the room, the man murmured.

Due to his voice's prolonged inactivity, it was harsh to hear.

"It's amazing how life can lose so much meaning after acquiring it," the man said again, his voice this time a little rougher and deeper.

The man who called himself God kept thinking about many things, which eventually prompted him to consider using different approaches to solve his problem.

Yes, the God considered his life's dearth of interesting experiences to be a problem.

"Should I make my own world?" The God rubbed his chin with his hand while he thought.

Even though the room had been left unused for hundreds of years, causing it to become dusty, the man who called himself 'God' did not have a speck of dust on his body and his throne chair.

"But if having a world was very interesting, those fogies wouldn't have neglected their numerous created worlds and still continued to create new ones,"

'Creating a world and having one should be incredibly stressful,' the God thought as he was about to discard the idea when a specific thought came to him.

"Why don't I try to make a unique world from the ones those gods make?" The God paused for a moment before shaking his head.

'This is not doable. I shouldn't have been the first to think of this, after all',

The moment the God realised this, he sighed and sat back in his throne chair, lazily.

The only difference between the God's appearance and that of a human was that he had two enormous horns on his head that resembled a crown, along with sharp pointy ears and a head full of white hair.

He was obviously not human as he belonged to the asura race, one of the most powerful in the universe.

He was a god, and even though he wasn't the strongest at his level, it wasn't an exaggeration to call him that.

"So, should I create a world or not?" The God's face, which had been expressionless earlier, now wore a frown as he pondered seriously once again.

"I'll just make one, I suppose, and if it doesn't interest me, I'll just discard or ignore it as those old fogies do,"

The God thought, "Perhaps destroying it might even be more interesting," as he started to feel that this wasn't such a bad idea and making a world might actually be interesting to him.

But first, how should the world be created?

Even though it was simple for any God, old or new, to create a world, there were numerous factors to take into account.

For instance, there was the issue of what race should be inside the world, the world's power system, and whether to just create the world and let it become independent or create the world solely for him to be the only god the race in that world worships so that it can grow the world creator divinity through the power of faith.

There were numerous factors to take into account, so it was best to proceed slowly.

The Asura God had no interest in grooming the world to worship him because he was just concerned with creating a world that would be interesting to him. He never intended to create a world to increase his divinity.

He might even choose to create an independent world that operates according to the laws of the universe rather than his own, and then simply watch it for any noteworthy occurrences.

The majority of gods do this, not for this purpose but rather because making an independent world will not necessitate their supervision and they will still be able to gain from the lifeforms in the world they created becoming stronger as a result of the energy being shared as an added benefit.

This was the cause of the vast number of independent and empty stars in the cosmos, despite the fact that it was created by a God.

Naturally, nature itself created the majority of it.

There were many vital factors to consider when constructing a world, therefore the Asura God took it seriously because it could also help him pass the time.

In order for the world to be more potentially interesting he also had to give it its own distinctive character, and this was the part where he felt a little lost.

As he was considering this, he suddenly remembered a unique object that he had been able to acquire years before.

As soon as he remembered the item, he rubbed the storage ring on the middle finger of his right hand to release a strange, multi-coloured orb.

The star the Asura God was on, which had been dark before the orb was brought out, instantly became lit. However, the Asura God used his power to stop the orb's phenomenon, and the star then quickly returned to its dark state.[2]

It was clear from this alone that this was a highly remarkable item if its light could illuminate a whole galaxy of stars and the orb was truly one as it was something that allowed Gods to create their own world without any limitations.

The only factor that could be considered a limitation on God's ability to create a limitless world was his creative imagination.

'Hmm'

"Why don't I create a world that individuals from other independent worlds can access?" The Asura God thought as he instantly got to work.

The Asura God, a powerful and ancient being, who had been searching for a way to relieve his boredom decided to use this opportunity to help sentient beings reach their full potential. He had watched as countless civilizations rose and fell, each struggling to unlock the true power within them.

Additionally, he had witnessed multiple individuals pursuing goals other than power or long life, and he remembered that these people had been among the numerous little things that had caught his attention.

And so, the Asura God set out to create a world that would help unlock the full potential of sentient beings and individuals with wishes. These beings would be together with the natives he would create in the world he was creating.

He gathered the power of the cosmos around him together with the colourful orb in his hand and began to shape it, moulding it into a new world that would be unlike anything that had ever existed before.

As he worked, the Asura God poured all of his wisdom and knowledge into this new world. He imbued it with incredible powers and abilities, designed to push those who entered it to the limits of their potential.

He wanted it to be something amazing, fascinating, and possibly even enjoyable for those who would join his world.

For centuries, the Asura God worked tirelessly on this new world, perfecting every detail and crafting a world of infinite possibility. He created races, towering mountains, vast oceans, and sprawling cities, each one teeming with life and energy.

'MetaWorld' was the name he gave to the world he made.

A multiracial world with distinct cultures and a system.

He borrowed the idea for this system from a primitive civilization he had once encountered while travelling.

The Asura God smiled, reflecting that those were indeed intriguing times.

But the Asura God knew that this new world could not be something that was easy to reach. It had to be something that only the most dedicated and worthy beings could enter. And so, he crafted a series of powerful orbs, imbued with a small fraction of the power of the Metaworld.

The Asura God then threw these orbs throughout the cosmos, knowing that only the lucky few who stumbled upon them would be able to unlock the power of the Metaworld and enter its incredible world.

And so, the Metaworld was born, a place of infinite potential and limitless possibility. A world created solely by the Asura God, designed to help sentient beings unlock their full potential, fulfil whatever wishes they had and become something more than they ever thought possible.

As he looked out over the Metaworld, the Asura God felt a sense of pride and satisfaction. He had created something truly incredible, a world that would stand the test of time and become a beacon of hope and possibility for those lucky enough to enter it.

[1] A rogue star, primarily known as an intergalactic star, is a star that has escaped the gravitational pull of its home galaxy and is moving independently in or towards the intergalactic void. More loosely, any star in an unusual location or state of motion may be termed a rogue star.

[2] The cloud of gas and dust that surrounds a rogue star can absorb or scatter its light, making it appear dark. This type of cloud is called a "dark nebula" or "absorption nebula". Dark nebulae are composed of cold, dense gas and dust, which can be opaque to visible light.

When a star is embedded within a dark nebula, the nebula can block the star's light and make it appear dark or invisible from our perspective.
