Chapter 2 : I know this place no ?

A window show : 

[ Welcome to Elemental Ruins ]

Rei froze. He was sure he'd logged out, so why was there a message from the game? He searched for the logout button, but to no avail. Rei realized that the administrator had mocked him, and taken him into the game. His thoughts were cut short by a system notification:

[ You are about to be transported to the tutorial]

"I don't care about the tutorial, I just want to know where I am" he shouted.

The same light as the first time surrounded him, and when he opened his eyes, he froze. He was in space, but strangely enough, he could breathe. Rei was at a loss.

"What the hell, Mr. Admin, where are you?"

"Right here."

Rei gasped:

"Can't you stop doing that? "

"How's your vacation going Mr. Lumi? "

Rei read satisfaction on his interlocutor's face, and found nothing to reply but. 

"NO"

"I'm sorry, but let's move on. As you've noticed, you're in my game, so for the start do you have any questions?"

"Obviously, why am I in a game? Are you that bothered about victimizing a player?"

"We're offering you a little vacation in a simple world where everything's easy for you, aren't those your words?Rei recalled all the times he'd insulted the work of the game's creators, but to tell the truth, he couldn't remember them all because there were so many.

"I'm sorry I insulted your work, can I go home now?"

The administrator looked at him and laughed. He turned and said:

"You're not here just for protesting my work, the reasons are many. You'll discover them soon enough, but in the meantime, enjoy it and survive."

Rei wanted to retort, to ask him what he meant by "survive", but no sooner had he opened his mouth than the old man disappeared.

[The tutorial is about to begin]

"What do you mean?"

Rei heard a howl and turned to face a mountain gorilla, a level 3 monster.

Strength: [10]

Agility: [10]

Hp: [12/12]

Rei looked at his stats, and was dismayed:

Level 1

Strength: [3]

Agility: [3]

Hp: [10/10]

How could he manage to defeat a monster with such a high level? This isn't a tutorial, it's sucide at this level, he thought.

Rei regretted skipping the tutorial when he started the game, he knew nothing about this monster,

"I'm not going to die for so little, not in front of this monkey" he shouted.

He rushed at the monster, who dodged one blow after another, before throwing a violent punch.

Hp : [7/10]

Rei could only take 3 more blows, he thought. He, who always went headlong, was beginning to think. This one had to be distracted, but how could he do that? The monster charged at him, but he had no time to react and took a blow:

Hp: [4/10]

Rei lunged at the gorilla, which screamed and lunged at him, Rei throwing one of his knife. The gorilla parried, but stopped, Rei was no longer in his field of vision. No sooner had he turned around than Rei struck him in the head with his knife :

[ Congratulations on finishing the tutorial ]

[ You've gained level +2]

"It's going to be a long vacation, I can feel it!

Rei was transported back to the inn where he had arrived and went to bed.

What did this strange world have in store for him?

He already knew it, but obviously not well enough. He knew he'd have to improve quickly if he wanted to get out.
