Metamorphosis - Ofelia's tragedy

"I just wanted to be loved... even for a moment...." --------------- She had the skin like the finest porcelain, white as milk. Silver threads for hair; soft as silk. Her eyes were the same color as the amethyst. She looked like an angel, a pure and uncontaminated soul. She was free... ...but they tore her wings... stole her smile...stained her skin... she was fragile... very fragile. And when she fell, she went to pieces, she tried to glue all the pieces, but some were lost... So she looked for something else to fill that void. In the end she could no longer adjust herself... many were missing, and every step she took; others fell; and they became dust. She was desperate, the pieces kept falling... so she was forced to steal pieces from others. Her blood poured out of the cracks and began to turn black...like ink. Her eyes had lost their sparkle, and from them she shed only blood. Her hair covered her face. She did not smile anymore... She had changed... she had become dust. ------------- This is Ofelia's story, and of her tragedy.
